Geet woke up as the bright rays of sun bathed her completely.Monday morning is bright and sunny just like any other day of the sunny state Delhi.She checked the time and entered into the Washroom.A new day,a new start."Life cannot be simple and easy."Looking at her own reflection on mirror,she thought."How am I supposed to forget what hapenned in yesterday!God please help me."

Maan was pacing down in her cabin and calling Sasha every other minute to confirm whether Geet has come.But the answer was breaking his heart everytime.While Geet did not show herself yet,Maan had to attend the meeting half-heartedly as he thought he will get a scope to have a word with her before the commencement of meeting.

As soon as,Maan entered the conference room and took his seat.He saw Geet too entering."Thats great,Lord!I wanted to sort out things between us and she had to come this late.Could not she come a bit early?And today what am i supposed to do while she is looking sooo damn gorgeous and distracting all the other male co-workers.Damn."

She wore a white button down blouse with small horizontal strips on the sleeves that were a tone lighter than her off white shirt, her blouse was not tight but not to loose to cover her figure up completely. Her soft skin and the natural glow made her unique from the rest of the crowd.She also wore a black pencil skirt that ended just above her knees with black high heels that made her toned legs seem longer than they actually were. Then to top it all off she had straight open hair at elbow length. All in all she was beautiful and could make any men start to drool. Maan is no exception.As Maan was battling with himself,he failed to notice one more pair of eyes which was scrutinizing Geet from head to toe.

Rishi Khandelwal,The pass-out of the same batch with Adi and Maan,is a business partner of Maan.Though Adi was a decent friend of Rishi,Maan had never liked Rishi as he found he is over-friendly with with people but still he helped him to start his own venture because there was a chance of making good profit for Essar Group also.So it was purely business when it comes to Rishi.

Today,is the day of monthly meeting with all the partners of Essar group including the board members and CEO's.Because his company is so big,Maan has a handful of CEO's that wouls specialise in one specific area and then they would get together on first Monday of Every Month to discuss how everything is going.Geet is attending this meeting for the first time with Sasha.So when Geet entered,Sasha introduced Geet to everyone.Ayush,who is a board member and a great friend of Adi and Maan instantly recognised Geet as Adi's sister and he was about to spill the bean when Geet told him to stop indicating through her eyes.

Maan has called this meeting to declare the name of the new CEO of Marketing Department in ESSAR GROUP besides the discussion of other things.

"Good Morning Ladies and Gentleman.Today is our official meeting but beside that I want to announce that ESSAR Group has got a deserving CEO of Marketing.As We have already seen how Perfectly she organised everything regarding last Product Launch Party,I suggest her name as the CEO of Marketing Department.Is there anyone who has a second opinion?"

Geet in the mean time was being introduced to all the other persons whom she has not met in the Party including Ayush who winked at her.They shared a silent conversation through eyes.Maan has already known that Geet is a beautiful and young women but what surprised him was her spirited,sociable and charming personality which he never noticed or may be due to tremendous work pressure put on her by himself,she lost it.Few of them have already known Geet and Few of them who were newly introduced seem to be fascinated by her.Maan could not stop but noticing how her hair moved with every gesture she was doing.He seemed to be dazed by her.Well she was noticing,well not noticing actually staring at her.

Ayush can easily say by witnessing the facial expression of Maan that his friend finds something different in Geet.He has known Maan since last ten years.He has never seen Maan to stare at a girl for such a way that he actually is doing right now.Well knowing Geet,he already knew that she is a charmer.Her personality can make boys drool over on her.And today her formal attire is making her looking extra stunning.No doubt on that.But one thing he is unable to understand is why Geet is hiding her real identity from Maan.

"Guess I need to sort out that with Geet."Ayush thought.

The announcement came as a great shock to Geet.She never thought that Maan will go to this extend.As if the kiss of yesterday was not enough,that today he is declaring me as CEO of Marketing Department.

"What is he planning all about?What is all these CEO thing all of a sudden?Does he want to apologise to me by giving me promotion?What is actually running into his mind?"Geet's chain of thought got interrupted when She was being introduced to Ayush and other CEOs.

"Haaah I need to stop Ayush before he opens his big mouth."She pleads through her eyes which Ayush caught and did not disclose his true identity.

Everyone leaves the hall after congratulating Geet for her promotion.Lastly it was Maan,ayush,Geet and Rishi who was there in the same conference room.Maan waited for Rishi to leave them alone while Rishi was trying to initiate some conversation with Geet.

"Hi,Geet."

Maan was so irritated with this new introduction procedure of Rishi that he actually failed to notice that Ayush was notiving his every expression.The disgust is being seen in Maan's face.

"Hello Mr.Khandelwal.I would rather appreciate if you kindly keep the professional attitude by calling my last name.Thanks,"

Maan was ecstatic as Ayush got a piece of mind.He has a smile of pleasure.

"Ok I am sorry Ms.Handa.I thought we can be friends."

Huhhh!!! Friends….so soon!now what?

"Excuse me Sir.You are the Partner of Essar Group.I will prefer if you kindly maintain a professional distance in the workplace."Geet looked at Maan before leaving the room.

Maan was actually smiling when Geet said that and he straightens himself the moment Geet looks at him.But his little sweet gesture did not go unnoticed by Ayush who was a silent-watcher of all these things.

Maan immediately leaves the conference room and Ayush follows him.

"Well,What was that dude?"Ayush asks entering Maan's cabin.

"What?"

"playing of emotions on your sada hua chehra?"

"Huhh?"

"Abe don't try to act innocent."

"What are you talking about Ayush?"Maan says exasperatedly in the fear of being of caught.He always knew that it is impossible for him to escape Ayush.He and Adi have always been a best friend to him.He can escape from anyone but not from these two.

"What was going on in that conference room?"Ayush asked in an all knowing voice

"Nothing that matters.I was actually introducing Geet to you guys.What else?"Maan said without making any eye contact with Ayush.

"I understand."Maan looked at Ayush."Yes Geet is really not your type.She is fun-loving and out-going.All in all She is a charming personality while you are as dull as a piece of log."

"You are pushing it Ayush."Maan glared at him which can scare anyone but it was Ayush and he was having too much fun.

"She is way out off your league dude.considering how much good looking she is and how much horrible looking you are,its evident that you are not even counted to give a competition with all the other guys who were so damn curious to talk to her and to sit beside her."He said with a mischievous smile.

"Mr.Ayush Khanna,if you are done,you can close the door before you leave."Maan shouted with furious voice.

"Fine,I will leave you to think over it but an advice to you,"don't be stupid and let her go away."Ayush closed the door before heading towards Geet's cabin.

"Do you care to explain."No door bell,no introduction.Ayush entered Geet's cabin directly which made Geet startle.

Winning over the first shock,she went to ayush who was standing at the door crossing her arms in front of his chest.

"Ayush Bhai."Geet hugged him dearly."Missed you."

"Same here bachha."

Being the only sister of Adi,Geet had always been sweetheart to Ayush.He has no sister so he considers Geet as her own sister.

"Come , sit."

"No at first I need an explanation."

"Well bhai,there is nothing to explain actually.You know after completing my MBA,BB always wished to join in Handa Co.but I insisted that I want to have my own name and I don't want to join Dad.As a result of it,I gave interview and landed up here."She said with smile.

"And why did you not tell about this to Maan?"

"Because I don't want any special advantage of being Deepak Handa's daughter.Please try to understand."

"Ok,I get it kiddo."

"Now tell,how are you finding Essar?"

"Well its pretty cool over here.I am happy with the work environment I am getting."She said with a genuine smile.

"And how do you find Maan?"

Ayush witnessed a change of emotion in fraction of second.

"Bhai,i..i…I am ok to work with him.Though his mood changes,but I can see that I can at least put some good suggestion in front of him."

That's what ayush needed.Scrutinizing her facial expression,he can easily say that she is also in the same boat if not same boat,she sees Maan in a different note.So now what is needed is to play as a cupid to knock some sense into both the stubborn heads.

"Guess,I need to do something."Ayush thought.

Maan was getting impatient to talk to Geet.Rather he was restless to tell her how much upset he is about the whole incident last night.He wanted to tell her what magic she does everytime whenever she comes in front of him.God knows how many time he reharsed the whole conversation in front of mirror.For the first time of life,Maan Singh Khurana is nervous.At the time of lunch,Maan noticed Geet is sitting along Ayush and Sasha.He can really say that Geet has very well clicked with Ayush.Well knowing her personality,She can click with anyone.Maan was thinking of joining the lunch with them but the call from his secretary distracted him and he had to go.The whole day he did not get a single scope to talk to her.While on the other side,Geet was deliberately avoiding Maan.She knew that he wanted to speak to her.But knowing what he is going to say,She did not have the courage to hear sorry for last night.But then again,She knew that she is actually trying to escape from the reality.Today or tomorrow they will face and this topic will be raised.

Next Day Geet woke up early in the morning.She tiptoed from the house informing the servant and took an yogurt from the refrigerator and left for office.She was not surprised finding out that she is the first one in the office mainly because it was only 7 15 and they are not expected to be there before 8 30.Before entering her Office,the first thing she did was to go to kitchen and serve herself coffee.Without coffee,her day does not start properly.but what he failed to notice was Maan was just a few steps behind her.So she was shocked when she found Maan was staring at her with a puzzled look.

"Good morning.How come you are so early?"Maan asked in a curious voice.

"Good Morning to you too.I usually work my best in the morning,I wanted to get going through the details before Ayush sir shows him up knowing that I am going to work with him."

"Do you need Coffee?"Geet further enquired.

"Ah yes,I forget to get coffee in the morning.How is things going here?Are you liking working with Essar?"

"If I say no as an answer,that will be complete lie to you.So yes I am not liking it,I am loving working here.The whole environment,the people around-everything seem to be perfect."Geet said with a genuine smile which made Maan's heart to skip a beat.

"Aaah that makes me feel really good knowing that someone enjoys working in my Office."Maan said taking the mug of coffee from Geet.Their fingers touched and they stared at each other.

"Geet.I wanted to tell you something."

"I don't wanna hear anything."Geet tried to escape from Maan while he caught her wrist.

"I am really sorry."Geet closed her eyes.a drop of tear threatened to trickle down.

"But I don't know what happens to me whenever I am around you.it feels as if I have forgot everything of my life."Maan's grip around her wrist loosens and Geet turns to face him.

"You are on the verge of getting married to the girl whom you are dating for last two years.And how did you kiss me?Haven't you ever thought about your fianc?"

"No because I keep on forgetting everyone when I am with you.You are an angel in disguise in my life."

"That's ….. that's complete crap.How can one forget about his fianc?"She said irritatedly.

"I don't know what magic you have done to me Geet!I just don't know.My life is not planned like before.I used to plan every move but now I have become spontaneous."Maan said holding her by her waist while Geet kept her hand on his chest.They stared in each other's eyes for eternity.

"Can it be possible that he loves me rather than loving Sameera?May be!They may be in a mutual relationship which can never be considered as love.If this is true,I can't let him to suffer.I need to find out."Geet thought.

It stuck to Maan that what he wanted to tell and what he has told in reality is completely different.As reality hit him hard,he leaves her waist and murmuring a sorry,he leaves for his cabin leaving a confused and hurt Geet to ponder over the incidence hapenned just a few minutes ago.
