Hi,Megz....Darling how are you?Aaj kal bohot jaldi update karti hai,kya baat hai bhai?

I just read parts 8 and p...dunno why these days,I can't receive any pms so I have to go around finding the FFs I read...it is kind of tedious....anyways..just wanted to request if you could make an index on the first page or something with the pages of the updates....

His outhouse is so grand ,toh uska mansion kaisa hoga...loved ur description...the Bella Stubbornsapiens part was hilarious....😆

Liked both parts

Maan was following her Thank God he did that atleast he saved her

He was sweet wit her

Loved the way he cared for her n atlast got out that she wasnt married

Geet thks a lot tabhi witout seeing outhouse she was thking to say no

Chapter Ten

Another sunny day...another day in the life of Geet...and

"GEEEETTTT!!!"

Geet woke up, startled. Was that Maan? Was he hurt? Maybe he was having a nightmare. She fingered his jacket, the one which he had so sweetly given last night, and rushed outside, where an angry Maan was pacing the living room with an expression that could have scared the statues too.

"Look at the clock," he said sternly. She innocently glanced at the huge grandfather's clock and gasped. It was eleven in the morning. She had never slept so late before!

"Sir...I was tired," she said, trembling.

"I'm tired too okay?" he said irritably. "That doesn't mean you come late for office."

"You'll give another midnight punishment or what?" she said loudly. "Do I look like some kid to you?"

"Look Geet," Maan said angrily, pulling her into his arms. Suddenly he forgot for what purpose he was scolding Geet and focused on the fear in her eyes. As he let her go, there was a loud, ripping sound as the bandage tied around his arm loosened.

Geet gasped as the white gauze fell on the floor and blood started trickling from the gaping wound on his arm.

She immediately ran to get the first aid kit-before the horrible realization that she did not know where anything was in this large, strange house. She turned around and found that Maan had disappeared. In a state of worry she searched the entire house before she came upon him in one of the bathrooms, grunting in frustration as he failed to tie a new bandage.

She knelt next to him and with the care of the mother he never had, started tenderly wrapping the bandage around his arm. Finally she tied it up,and he gave a little squeal of pain. She was taken aback for a moment.

"I'm okay," he said, quelling her fears.

Both looked downwards, wondering why the air was so charged with emotion.

"Sir, I think you shouldn't go to office," she advised.

"Who are you to tell me?" he asked arrogantly.

"I am a resident of your house okay?" she said haughtily, then stopped, covering her mouth.

A big smirk appeared on Maan's face.

"Fine..but what about my office work?"

She folded her arms and with a slight tilt of her head she said, "Well, I manage the office."

"You?" said Maan, and he burst out laughing.

"Yep me," she said, slightly discouraged. "Why?" she said regaining confidence.

She gave him a Look.

"Okay," he said, adopting his serious tone again, "I'll see."

"The deal is on," she said.

"How many deals will you make Geet? This is not some gambling parlour, this is Khurana Constructions. And you are just an ordinary secretary."

"I never said you will not do any work. Obviously you are going to supervise us."

"What do you mean?"

"I am bringing the office here Sir."

Maan was dazed for a moment. Then he began to blast out

"Are you out of your mind? How can I bring 500 employees into one single mansion? This isn't some rajaaon ka mahal Miss Geet."

"Well, if you are as out of your mind to go to office in an injured state, even I can be out of my mind. And anyway, I'm not that nonsensical. I'm not bringing all 500 employees here. They do their work whether you go to office or not. You have two board meetings scheduled for today, and I will give the presentations under your guidance."

"Is this some career gimmick planned to take advantage of your boss?"

"No wonder no one loves you! You are so cynical!" she complained.

"You don't know Geet," he said mysteriously.

"Huh?"

"Well, fine then. Even I will see how this crazy arrangement of yours works out."
