"40 minutes back! Take a shower and come down for breakfast, geet".
"No, you have to come up. mujhe aapko dekhne ke baad bed se uthna hai". She realized he hung up and before she could crib about it, she heard the door open.
"tumhe nahi lagta, aaj kal, tum demand bahut karne lage ho, geet?" he asked, leaning against the door frame with his hands folded across his chest.
"I was wondering what was taking you so long, didn't know you were waiting here for me", he said, with a wide grin.
"Maan!" she said, hitting him a little, in an attempt to free herself.
"bolo geet!" he said, pulling the straps of her bath robe. Geet stopped breathing. Her body froze.
"geet,look into my eyes" he said. She looked into his eyes. He slowly tied the straps. She shivered. Her gaze lowered to see where his hands were. But he did not look away from her eyes, even once. She looked to face him again.
He kissed her shoulder and whispered in her ears, "don't you think you should close the blinds before you walk into the room, this way?" he said pointing to the window, she stood close to, that was wide open. He turned and walked away to close the blinds.
"jaldi karo geet, warna mujhe madat karna padega", he warned her and walked out of the room.
"chaliye, dono ek saath karte hai!"
She stood there and spoke again, "Mr. Maan Khurana, this is what you get for teasing me in the kitchen that day, when I tried to make sandwiches. And, you took revenge in the morning, because I did not let you sleep and I did the same. The scores leveled".
Maan turned to look at her, dumbfounded. His wife is competing in settling scores with everything he does now.
He walked towards her, held her tight, by her waist and said, "you wanna play games, sweetheart?"
Geet took a sip of her juice and said,"you don't have to". He smiled and walked to her and kissed her on her cheek, "fulfilling all the duties of Mrs. Maan Singh Khurana , haan?"
