Part 6:

Geet slowly headed towards Maan's cabin. She was scared as she was sure dat after today's incidence Maan would definitely throw her out of d Office. She knocks d Door.

"Come In" a voice came from inside. She slowly enters to his Cabin nd Notices dat he's busy in reading some File. As soon as Maan notices her he came closer to her while reading his File.

Maan: Geet Handa, A native of Jalandhar, new to dis city, a brilliant Student nd Topper of her college. (Shuts d file nd put it on table). Nice resume, no one can reject u after Seeing ur CV.

Geet (to herself): job se nikalna hai to seedhe se bol do, itna detail dene ki kya zaroorat hai.

Maan: u said something?

Geet nodded her head in no.

Maan: ok, So I was saying that u really had a nice resume but do u think dat dis is enough for u to stay in dis office.

Geet: I didn't get u sir.

Maan: yahi to tum ladkiyon ki problem hai, u never understand anything. Well jis tarah se tumne mere sath behave kiya hai us hisaab se to mujhe tumhe job se nikal dena chahiye.

Geet said nothing.

Maan: but I won't do dis.

Geet was surprised nd look at him.

Maan: yes Ms. Geet Handa, u r having ur Job but dnt think dat I have any kind of Mercy on u. Do u remember wat did u called me dat nite? Wats dat J... J...

Geet (suddenly): Genius.

Maan: ofcourse not! Ya Jerk!! Nd today at Mandir wats dat D..

Geet: Decent

Maan: Ya Daanav. U called me Jerk nd Daanav. So nw u have to Experience hw does it Feels wen u Work wid a Jerk. lets see ms. Geet Handa hw long u r going to stand in front of Maan Singh Khurana. Waise bhi u had contract wid our Company to work for minimum 6 months so neither of us can deny dat nd I swear I'll make dese 6 months memorable for u.

Geet: but Sir...

Maan: Not a word.. So ms. Geet Handa here's ur work for today, u have to make d records for all d previous Deals dat Khurana's Constructions had wid Khanna's.

Geet: but dats not my job sir

Maan: I haven't finished myself yet nd u dnt have to tell me wats ur job nd wats nt got it. Apart from Dat work u have to give me my Black coffee at d interval of every 2 hrs nd mind it I dnt like late-comers so better be on tym.

Geet: But Sir.. hw should I know abt d Previous Deals. I joined today only.

Maan: dats not my Problem, aur waise bhi jitni tez tumhari zubaan chalti hai agar utna hi tez tum apna dimaag chalaogi to acha hoga.

Geet: but sir...

Maan: Nd Ya one more thing, jab tak tumhara kaam khatam nahi ho jata u can't go home.

Geet didn't move from dere which makes Maan angry.

Maan: wat r u waiting for nw. LEAVE!!!!

Geet: yes Sir.

She said Nd left from dere

Maan (to himself): Ms. Geet Handa now u will come to know d Outcome of messing up wid Maan Singh Khurana..

He said nd gives a lop sided smile

Geet in her Cabin was pacing restlessly murmuring to herself. She wonders hw can her fate be so cruel to her dat she lands up working wid d same Man whom she never wants to meet again.

Geet: Wat d hell does he think of himself; nd wat d hell does he think of me. M not a machine dat he ordered me so many things. So ms. Geet Handa here's ur work for today, u have to make d records for all d previous Deals dat Khurana's Construction had wid Khanna's. Apart from Dat u have to give me my Black coffee at d interval of every 2 hrs (she said while imitating like him) nd above dat he asked me not to go home until I finish my work. Arey main koi School kid thodi na hoon jo tab tak ghar nahi ja sakti jab tak mera Homework na khatam ho jaye. Iska naam Danav nahi Dusht Daanav hona chahiye. Ab kya karoon main? Babaji! Pls help me.

She said nd sat in her chair helplessly hiding her face between her palms. But den her present situation struck her nd she went thoughtful.

Geet: No Geet. U can't be helpless. U had a very long distance to cover. Dnt forget for wat u r here. U can't do any single mistake. U need dis job right nw nd for dat u had to give ur best. Dis is just one rude nd arrogant person. Dis world is full of persons of such kind nd even worse nd u had to face all of dem nd if u had courage to face all of dem den u can face him nd his tantrums also.

Determining this she gets up from her chair nd goes towards d place where all files were kept. Just den another problem came in front of her. She dnt know where other files of Khanna's r kept.

"Babaji main aapko khush achi nahi lagti kya; Dat u r hell bent in making my lyf miserable? Nw where d hell will I find d other files of Khanna's." She said while looking upwards complaining to her Babaji.

Geet: Pls Babaji, Pls Do sum Miracle or else dis Dusht Daanav will leave no chance in making my lyf more miserable.

She said while still looking upwards nd seems her Babaji is in good mood today as at d same tym Adi entered in her cabin nd got confused seeing her mumbling sumthing nd looking upwards

Adi: Geet, wat r u doing? Nd whom r u talking to?

He said while looking at the direction where Geet is looking. Geet instantly stopped her cribbing nd looked at him wid a worried face

Adi: Geet tell me wat happen? Nd wat did Maan sir said regarding Ur job?

Geet: he didn't rusticate me from d job.

She said while making an annoyed face making Adi more confuse

Adi: den it's a gud news Geet. U knw Maan Sir had not given anyone second chance yet. U r d lucky one who got another chance from him nd Inspite of being happy u r standing here annoyed.

Geet: Because Ur Maan sir has made my lyf miserable. It would be better if he had rusticated me from d job atleast I would be in bit peace but nw it seems dat my lyf is going to be miserable by every passing day

He said while gritting her teeth in anger nd looked towards Maan's cabin who was budy working in Laptop.

Adi: Geet, can u pls stop playing riddles nd tell me wats wrong?

Geet: Sorry Adi Sir, I was in so much foul mood dat I didn't realized wat m blabbering continuously. Actually d thing is...

Nd she told each nd every thing to him dat happened in Maan's cabin

Geet: nw u knw y I was standing over here annoyed. U see Adi Sir Ur 'Maan Sir' is nothing but a jerk who thinks dat everyone wid a super natural powers like him dat dey must be knowing wat is happening where. He knows it very well dat today is my first day in d office nd I m not at all familiar wid dis place still he throw order on me like I had born in dis place only.

She said nd sat down on d chair nearby feeling frustrated. Adi was looking at her like he had seen some sort of alien. She is d first girl, no correction she is d only girl who had cursed his boss so much nd dat too in front of him. No doubt Maan has habit of keep on yelling on staff nd some of dem r even pissed off also due to his behaviour but none of dem had discussed about it wid even each other den forget discussing wid him. Nd Adi respects him a lot no matter hw much he gets scolded by him at tymes.

"Ahem! Ahem!" he coughed to gain Geet's attention who was cursing Maan under her breath. Dis is wen Geet realize dat she was not alone at Cabin nd she was cursing her boss in front of his own employee. Wat if he goes nd tell every thing to Maan. she immediately gets up nd goes near him

Geet: Adi Sir, I m sorry dat m cursing ur I mean our boss in front of u. but it just wenever I get mad on sumthing I cant control myself nd dis Maan Sir had really made me Mad beyond control so I blurted out everything. Pls u don't tell anything to Maan Sir

She said while making a baby face

Adi: dnt worry Geet, I wont say anything to him. But trust me he's not dat bad like u r thinking?

Geet: Adi Sir...

"Ok let it be. By the way u were saying sumthing about files" Adi said immediately before Geet could start another round of her cursing. Geet instantly realize dat Maan had given her sum work.

Geet: Haan wo Adi Sir, do u knw dat where d other files of Khanna's r kept. I need dem.

Adi: for dis little thing u r panicking dis much. Geet, u'll find all d files of previous deals in d Archive. We had arranged it in d alphabetical order so u'll not have any problem in finding it. See Problem solved

Adi said wid a cheeky smile while adjusting his glasses making Geet smiled brightly

"Thank u so much Adi sir. U r really very nice nd I m sorry dat I cursed Maan Sir in front of u" she said making a baby face.

Adi: it's ok Geet. nw go fast. Maan sir dnt like delay in work. Nd ya Archive is at d basement ok. Call me if u need any help of mine

Geet really liked his gesture. He seems to be a nice person. It was her first day in office nd he's really helping her a lot to get her adjusted in d atmosphere.

"Thank God! Atleast someone is here who is not as cunning as Sasha Ma'am. No wonder Pinky use to praise him dis much" she thought nd a smile formed on her face finding a friend in dis unfriendly atmosphere

"Thank u so much for ur help Adi sir. I'll call u if I need ur help." She said wid a smile nd left towards d Archive.

Adi saw her retreating figure nd shakes his head in disbelief remembering her attitude towards Maan

"It seems dat winds of dis office are going to change soon becoz finally someone is here to face Maan sir's anger." he thought while adjusting his glass nd moves out from her cabin before Maan sees him over dere.

Geet reaches to archive as directed by Adi. It seems to be a very secluded corner of d office as dere was silence prevailed all around wid no one around

"yeh Archive kam nd haunted house zyada lag raha hai. Hw can anyone work over here. no wonder that it is d part of Dat Dusht Daanav's office" she thought as she stepped inside it.

She found numerous files arranged on several racks wid d alphabet written on it. She remembers Adi has said dat every file has been set in alphabetical order so she straight away searched for letter K nd found it at d corner of d room. A smile lit up on her face on her success. She goes towards it nd takes out d necessary files from d rack which r useful to make record. She takes a sigh of relief as she found all d files.

"Phew! Finally step 1 completed now tym for step 2. He thinks dat I can't handle his work efficiently. Now u'll see Mr. Maan Singh Khurana d outcome of challenging Geet Handa" she said proudly nd walked towards d exit

She was just half a way towards exit wen suddenly dere was a power failure making d room all dark without light. D only source of light was dat cuming thru d opening where exhaust fan has been fit but it was not enough to light up d whole room.

Geet stood rooted at her place wen she found herself alone in d dark room. A sudden fear ran thru her spine remembering d similar incident from her past. She gulped her saliva nd her breath gets heavied in an unknown fear.

The files dat she has been holding has been automatically dropped from her hands as she clutched her duppatta tight in fear. Something similar from her past started haunting her once again as she started panicking nd looked around herself for sum way to escape. Her mind has stopped working long back to think of anything or call someone for help. Sweat beads formed on her forehead as she reminds of dat night which changed her lyf forever. Everything is resembling to dat nite only. Same darkness, same kind of secluded place nd same alone nd helpless Geet.

Her heart sank in fear nd her eyes widen in shock wen she heard sum footstep approaching near d room. It felt like her nightmare is cuming true once again. She covered her mouth wid her palm to avoid d sound of her ragged breathing not wanting to let anyone know dat she's dere. More she felt d footsteps approaching near her more her fear gets stronger stopping her to think anything else.

"Run Geet" her mind screamed instantly as she felt d person entering d room. Without wasting tym she started running towards d way to escape colliding wid d racks nearby causing dem to fall nd making files scattered on d floor. But at dat tym she didn't registered anything all she could think of is dat her Past is chasing her once again.

It was too dark in d room to get idea of anything but still she keeps on running here nd dere to find sum way to escape. Tears welled up in her eyes as she felt herself trapped in d same way like she was dat nite. The sound of an evil Laughter was echoing in her mind again nd again making her shiver in fear as she was feeling helpless by every passing minute. Her condition is like an insect that gets trapped in a web trying to free himself.

In vein to escape; she moves towards a corner nd bumped into sumthing or rather someone causing her to lose her balance. She closed her eyes in fear realizing dat she gets trapped once again wen she felt a pair of strong arms around her waist preventing her from falling. Suddenly she felt d person holding her pulled her colder to him wid a jerk making her stand properly on her feet. Without having a second thought she hugged d person tight in fear.

"Pls... Pls save me... Pls." She said it continuously shivering in fear while still hugging d person tight. She dnt know who he is yet she felt an unknown feeling of being safe nd sound in his arms. His body was stiff without any reaction due to her sudden action not knowing wat he should do. He frowned wen he felt his shirt getting wet due to her tears. He tried to pull herself away from him but she hold him more tight to herself, clutching the cloth of his coat tight in her fist still mumbling d same thing.

Finally his patience gave up nd he pulled her away from himself in a jerk. Dis is wen Geet realizes wat she's doing; hugging a stranger in a dark room expecting him to save her. But dere's a sense of safety in his arms. Though he didn't hugged her back yet in d warmth of his embrace she felt safe. She looked closely at him to see d face of d person who made her feel safe. Just den d lights came back nd Geet saw d face of d person who was looking irritatingly at her.

"Maan Sir" she mumbled slowly as she found him looking at her angrily as if she had committed a biggest crime by hugging him. Now only god knows hw will he react on her sudden action. Will he understand d need of d situation dat led her to hug him all of a sudden?

So dis is it guys... Hope u all r gonna like it... u knw i m really nervous for dis one as i had written it after so long so pls ignore if i done any mistake... from next update i wont give u all any chance of complaint.
