Chapter 16

Geet was really confused, she didn't know where to go' for a second she thought she made a big mistake by leaving maan' cz she already missed him.. but then, she didn't have any other choice but to leave' because there were few reasons why she did it' first was that, he didn't trust her.. how could he even think that she would lie to him about something like that? Thought geet'. And the second reason she wanted to leave cz, she knew in the near future she was anyway going to get hurt cz of her marriage, as their marriage was based on a contract and that maan didn't love her at all!! She just couldn't bare all this pain '.

But where would she go now'? it has been few hours since she left the house and she was still thinking what to do.. she had to decide quickly as she was walking all alone down the main road, she knew it was dangerous to be out at this time of the night'but she didn't have any other choice.

Then she finally decided to go to pinky's house, cz deep down she didn't really want to leave the city, she wanted to stay close to maan' and she had a another plan in her mind too'that was to punish dev and nayantara for what they did to her'

Finally geet reached pinky's house, it was really late when she did.. She felt bad for disturbing her and thought of apologizing to her for crashing in like this.. When pinky opened the door, she was in her pj's' and geet felt really bad' and when she was about to say sorry' pinky grabbed geet and hugged her' she practically squashed geet.. ' geet'! M so happy to see u here'' pinky let go of geet.. and was jumping up and down in joy' ' pinky.. I didn't know that u would be this excited to see me here at this time of the night' and it's like u knew I was coming'' geet asked pinky curiously' just then pinky's face changed'as if she remembered something.. ' oho geet.. ur my best friend.. and m happy to see u here'' she grinned at her' ' and I didn't know u were coming.. how would I know in the first place?' she questioned geet' geet thought about it for a moment.. and gave up.. ' yeah ur rite' anyway.. pinky.. cn I stay at ur place for few days.. I mean'. I just wanted to spend time with u. and take a break.. u know what I mean rite?' pinky only smiled' ' geet u can stay here as long as u like' and don't worry I won't ask u why u left khurana mansion'

Geet was relived that pinky didn't ask too much of questions' when geet settled in the guest room.. Pinky who was been the usual talkative person made geet forget about her problems for awhile.. and when geet felt tired and sleepy pinky just said cya in the morning and walked out' and when geet was all alone.. she remembered how she missed maan and what happened few hours ago, and geet silently cried herself to sleep... '.

Pinky, after chatting with geet for awhile' waited till she fell asleep' cz she had to call some one' she took her phone out and dialed a no' 'maan sir pls Dnt worry sir' she came to my house' and then she nodded her head.. ' yes sir, she's safe, she doesn't know anything. And no sir she doesn't know that u called me.. I will not tell her'.' And then she cut the line' she was really worried about geet, and she knew that something happened between them, so she knew she had to help maan sir, so they would be back together really soon'

Maan on the other side' was worried over geet' he was just feeling miserable for not trusting her' why didn't he trust his geet' she always told him the truth.. and her eyes told him everything.. but he was such an idiot' cz even when she said those things.. he actually believed his bro' now when he thought of his brother.. he just wanted to punch his face again' he remembered the way he said.. he cheated geet for money'

How could he' when maan had so much of money' at that moment maan realized how dev an NT came to him 3 months ago asking for money as they lost all their money trying to start a new business'. Actually NT.. Wasted all the money on some business of hers.. so maan was not ready to give them the money'

And Geet's marriage happened 3 months ago' oh god' thought maan' why didn't he remember this a while ago' and to think of it.. he was responsible for it' if he had given dev the money.. This wouldn't have happened'. But then again he wouldn't have met his geet' he didn't like that feeling at all' he had to find her right now'

Where would she go.. Thought maan' he knew that she didn't have any1 in the city'and that she wouldn't go back home.. so she would go to one of her friends place.. either adi's or pinky's plc' she wouldn't stay at adi's so that means she's probably at pinky's plc ' she had to be there' first he would call her and find out'. He dialed pinky's no'

And when he spoke to pinky, she said that she didn't know where geet was. and that she was not at her place.. and pinky was really worried, so maan told her what exactly happened.. And told her that' if by any chance geet comes to pinky's house, to keep geet there till he came to take her away'

Then he called adi, and asked him if he knew where geet was, and adi didn't know as well' he told him what happened and told him to search for geet, he trusted adi and pinky as they were geet's good friends.

Maan decided to search for geet'. It has been few hours since geet left the mansion.. For some reason he knew that geet wouldn't have left the city' but he panicked cz he didn't want to loose his geet' he wanted her back in his life.. he wanted to make everything rite.. but for that to happen first he had to find geet and get her back, and the next thing that was in his mind was to punish his brother dev and NT, he thought of kicking them out of the khurana mansion, or put them in jail' just then his phone rang, it was pinky' he was so glad to see her name flash on his phone, then he answered the phone call' ' hello pinky?? Do u know where geet is? I'm still looking for her.. I even told adi to go and'' but before maan could finish his sentence pinky said 'maan sir' pls Dnt worry sir' she came to my house' maan was to happy to hear it, ' pinky is she ok' how is she? Does she know that I called u..? ' then pinky said'' yes sir, she's safe, she doesn't know anything. And no sir she doesn't know that u called me.. I will not tell her'.' She said that and cut the line'

Now that maan knew where geet was, he wanted to meet her as soon as possible but then before that he had some unfinished business'. That was to meet his brother and his annoying wife, and make them pay for what they did'he decided to go home' and while going he called the police station' he knew that was the best punishment they would get' so when he reached the khurana mansion, the police was already there, standing at the at the entrance' and then he heard someone scream.. and realized it was NT.. cz of the way she shrieked'so when he entered the house.. he saw dev and NT been cuffed' and daadi standing there in shock' he walked up to his daadi, and held her' she looked at him in fear and was filled with confusion. .and she had tears in her eyes' and maan only said.. ' trust me daadi, they deserve it. I'll explain it to u later..' and just then NT screamed' ' how could u put us in jail? How dare u!!?? I haven't done anything'it was ur brother who did this?? And u put me in jail??' then maan said' 'NT'u have always been a trouble to this family.. what ever my brother did, u were part of it too.. so u'll both have pay for all the bad deeds'.' Dev didn't say anything' he was quite the whole time'he was ashamed to show his face to his bro and daadi' he just looked away and muttered ' I'm sorry' I hope you'll forgive me'' and he walked out with the police' now it was only NT that was left in the house.. Who actually refused to go with them' but she was being dragged away.. 'u'll pay for this maan singh khurana!!' u'll pay for this' and so will ur stupid wife geet'!! I'll never leave ur'll alone'.' And then she was taken away'.

What a drama queen thought maan'how will she do anything if she was going to be in jail forever.. and he won't let any1 hurt geet anymore'.

Just then daadi turned towards maan'. 'Beta... What's going on?? Why is dev going to jail?? Tell me?? What did he do?' maan waited for a while before explaining it to daadi, cz she seemed to be really upset. Then after awhile he told her the whole truth about geet's life and what happened to her' and how he didn't believe her.. And how she left him'

Daadi couldn't handle it for awhile, she couldn't believe what her grandson has done..and that geet had gone through so much of pain cz of dev, she felt really bad for geet. 'maan beta' bring her back'. Bring geet back soon' she belongs In this house'' and maan nodded his head in approval.'.

deep down daadi was really hurt, and wanted to see her grandson'.

Few hours later, daadi was in her room resting' and maan was in the outhouse, he was in the room which he shared with geet ,where they had a wonderful time together fighting, teasing., talking about crazy stuff ' he really missed it.. actually he really missed her.. he really wanted her to come back' cz he finally knew the reason to his heart ache.. he was falling for her.. meaning he was in love with her' and he took so long to realize it'he only felt it when she left him' how could he have been so stupid'.

Then he thought he would go to pinky's house in the morning' to meet the woman he's in love with'. To meet his geet''.
