Chapter 7

Maan never liked to shop... and he was shocked to know that geet was the same.. he always thought that girls loved shopping.. and when man mentioned it to geet she said that she's not most of the women he knew... and he knew that she was right.. she was different from the others he have known.. Others always came behind his money, and fame... but geet didn't want any of those.. she only agreed to marry maan for daadi's happiness... who else would do that? Thought maan...

It was a easy job to shop with her... he just told her he likes it.. And she liked it as well and bought it.. so finally when everything was done they decided to go home.. cz maan knew that geet was tired after the shopping session... and as far as he knew tomorrow was the mehendi ceremony.. so he wanted geet to rest..

geet was happy with what she bought.. She never liked shopping... and so did maan... so it was easy to shop.. And then finally they finished, and decided to go home...while going home.. He spoke about his brother who lived in Canada with his wife.... and when he spoke about him.. She remembered how dev left her in India and went a away.. and she was lost in her thoughts... and then maan suddenly said 'sorry'.... and then she said.. 'for what?' you didn't do anything? ' and then maan stopped the vehicle... and took her hand into his... i know what happened in your past geet.... i shouldn't have said all those things...' and he kissed her hand.. then geet knew what he was talking about.. maan knew her past.. he knew she was deceived by a man.. and that the man left her and went to Canada with his wife.. but he didn't know his name. geet never had a chance to mention his name.. and then geet said.. ' maan it's not your fault, it's just that I had some flashbacks of what happened.... it's my past..it's always going to be there but I don't want to think about it..., I only want to think about my future.. and that's with you..' she touched his face.... she knew this was a contract marriage.. but she couldn't hide what she really felt.. and then she pulled herself together.. And said.. ' k we need to go home, daadi must be wondering where we are... and maan only nodded his head...

On the other hand.. maan felt her pain.. and when she said she only wanted to think about her future...and when she said.. it's with him.. he was speechless... but deep down... he was happy... and hurt as well.. he wanted to know who that man was.... so he said... ' what's his name geet?' geet didn't want to tell him.. he knew that.. ' geet please tell me the name.. I want to know that man's name.. so i could... 'before he could finish his sentence....geet covered his mouth with her palm.... ' maan please don't ever say that.. I don't want you do anything stupid.. I'm happy with you and daadi now.. I don't want to be hurt again... please..' maan nodded his head... and caressed her cheek.. and said.. ' k geet I wont.. but please tell me his name... I just want to know it....' and she was going to say it when his phone began to ring.. maan didn't want to answer.. but his call was from daadi... so he had to...

and then after that he never got a chance to ask the name.... so he dropped the topic and decided to go home.

geet was at the mehendi ceremony... and daadi was applying mehendi on her hand... yesterday when they arrived home.. daadi strictly advised maan not to enter the outhouse... cz it was a ritual where the groom was not suppose to see the bride before the marriage.. maan.. didn't like the idea at first so daadi had to force him... and finally he agreed...she hasn't seen him for a day now.. and she already missed him.. she wanted to see him.. but daadi already knew this already so she told geet that she'll be sleeping with the bride tonight....

maan was really annoyed cz daadi made him stay away from geet.. and she had told him that he could only see her on their wedding day.. but he already missed her.... and he badly wanted to meet her... he knew that she was at the mehendi ceremony.. so he decided to go and meet her after the that...but the fact he didn't know was, that daadi was going to spend the night with geet...

so when all the workers came back to the mansion it was really late... and he knew that the ceremony was over.. So he knew that it was the right time to sneak in to the house... so he reached to the outhouse... and he checked if the main door was locked.. and it was.. so he knew he had to check if the windows were opened.. and for his luck it was... he sneaked in through the window...and when he walked upstairs to geet's room... he saw her sleeping.... she was curled up in bed.. he was disappointed that geet was sleeping.. but he didn't want to disturb her.. so he just thought of kissing her good night and leave... and when he walked up to her and leaned down to c her face. and then was shocked to c daadi's face... ' daadi' whispered maan.... and then he felt really odd.. as he was going to kiss his daadi... and then when he tried to move away.. Some one came from the back and said... ' maan...' and at that moment he knew that it was his geet....

geet couldn't sleep at all... she missed maan, and she was also excited about the wedding even though it was a contract... she took the whole thing as a real marriage.. So she was so nervous, that she couldn't even sleep, so she decided to get some fresh air, she didn't want to disturb daadi, so she quietly moved out of the room, so she could go to the balcony... and then she heard a sound of a window creak, so she wanted to check it out.. and when she back to the room.. she saw some near daadi... she got scared so she grabbed the umbrella that was next to her cupboard and walked slowly towards the dark shadow and was about to hit it when she realized it was maan.. What's maan doing here.. Thought geet and she called out his name, And suddenly he turned around and he looked shocked, 'geet...? Why are u holding an umbrella? u were gonna hit me rite' he whispered. and chuckled a bit. And walked towards geet, took the umbrella from her and kept it on the side, then he held her wrist, and took her out to the balcony... and then after awhile... ' geet where were u? i thought u would be sleeping.. and i almost... ' he paused. ' well nwayz.. I'm so glad to see u... ' he said it while grinning... geet was happy to, and she just smiled and hugged him really tight.. [mahi moment] she slightly pulled herself away and said ' same here.., daadi said i was not suppose to meet you..' she pouted and hugged him again.

Maan was so happy, he missed her so much and so did she, and she hugged him. He was so happy.. So he held her really tight.. He didn't want to let her go, he didn't know what he was feeling... he didn't want to think about it too much.. he just wanted to enjoy this moment... and then after a while she slowly pushed back.. and looked uncomfortable.... it took time to realize what happened.. and then he knew what she was going through... so he pulled her back.. and said.' geet, i came here to give u something...' she gave him a confused look, and said, ' what?' and then he pulled out something from his pocket... to see it was a beautiful chain...' this is for you, i want u to wear this tomorrow ' she looked at it and said, ' maan you already gave me a lot... first u bought me a ring. and then the clothes.. and now this? how can I take it?' and then maan said ' geet, I want my bride to be the most beautiful bride ever, and i want you to be the most prettiest newly married as well.. so now u get why I'm buying u all this stuff..? ' he caressed her cheek... b4 geet could say anything... he slightly turned her around, and he put it around her neck. It looked so beautiful on her... thought maan, and then he knew he had to get out.. cz if daadi got up he would get caught...' listen I have to go now... if daadi sees me.. I'm dead.. so I'll see you tomorrow..' he quickly pecked her cheek and ran out...

geet stood there shocked.. And she touched her cheek where he kissed her.. And smiled. And decided to go and sleep...

the wedding day arrived... maan, geet and daadi were really busy... with all the preparations...but on the other side..., dev and Nayantara came out of the airport, dev and Nayantara was not very excited to be back in India, but dev really wanted to see his bro's wife. the lady who changed his brother... and Nayantara was not happy at all... she didn't want to be the choti bahu of the house.. she already hated maan.. so she hated him for getting married.. cz now she had to.. Listen to her sister in law..

she didn't even want to come.. But dev said he wanted to see his babhi, and when he told daadi that, she was so happy.. so he wanted to make her happy as well.. but they arrived to India late.. so, they wanted to be at the wedding as soon as possible......
