Part 36:-

While Maan is in his thoughts … he gets a phone call from Adi … asking maan to come to office for couple of hours … as his presence is required in the office & it is very very urgent matter … without maan's presence the problem cannot be solved … & they need to sort it out immediately … maan tells him he will try to come …

Dadima is calling Pia …. Maan hears that dadima is looking for Pia …

Maan is debating on whether to go to office or not … he remembers his words to Pia that he is not going to office today as geet wanted him to be with her … well at that time geet lied to Pia as she did not tell Pia what they both were actually talking about …. & maan too supported geet's statement at that time saying that he will stay at home as geet needs him ….

At that time in the morning while talking to Pia … maan did not know that geet might really need him to be there by her side later on … now that Dev & NT are back …. & they saw geet …. Geet too saw them but does not know for sure that they live over here in the same house & under the same roof ….

Maan is walking back to their room & on his way ….

Maan is still debating on what to do whether to go to office or stay at home with geet …. He knows that geet needs him very badly & Adi too called him on a very important work ….. if the work was not that important Adi would not have called him … but … adi called him …

Maan decides to go & ask geet … if she wants him to be there by her side or she will allow him to go to office …

Maan enters his room & sees that Pia & Geet are in some sort of conversation.

Pia is talking continously & geet is calm just listening to what Pia was talking….Geet is lost in some thoughts … just saying haan after Pia's each sentence …. Maan notices this …

Maan goes & sits on the other side in front of geet … as soon as maan sits in front of geet … geet turns again to the other side …. Maan now bends over geet & turns her so that she faces him …. Geet closes her eyes … maan is still bending over geet & is now holding her chin with her right hand … & he places his left hand on her left cheek …

Maan – sweet heart … please maaan jao naa … bahut urgent kaam hain …

Geet now takes of maan's hand off her cheek & Chin …. & shaking her head …

Geet – nahin … main nahin manungi … mujhae aap sae kuch jaroori baath karni hain …

But maan again keeps his hands on her cheek & chin …

Maan – please geet … abhi mujhae jaane do … main office sae aanae kae baad tumhari harr ek baath sun lunga …

Maan's face is turning sad now … as he does not want to leave geet alone in this condition but he needs to go the office … is still in a dilemma … whether to go or not … & is also thinking what to do now …. Now that even geet wants him to be with her … he is so confused …

Maan while leaving calls nakul & he gives strict warning to nakul to see that geet finishes her khichdi & takes her medicine …. & also does not come out of her room & not only that no one enters her room … especially Dev & NT … he gives Nakul strict instructions on to guard their bedroom door & not to leave that place & go … while geet is taking rest …

Nakul brings geet khichdi & asks geet to have it … & he stays over there & is not leaving …

Nakul is guarding their bed room door like a security guard … nakul calls changu & asks him to take the empty dishes & go from there … NT comes over there to meet Geet … nakul does not allow NT to meet geet … tells her that it's maan's strict orders that geet is not to be disturbed … NT is fuming with anger … & about to open their bedroom door …poor nakul he is unable to stop her … just then Pia arrives in time followed by dadima …

Pia – bhabhi … aap yahan …

NT – haan … main … wo … geet sae milnae aayi hun …

Pia – geet bhabhi tho rest kar rahin hain … medicine liya hain unhone … aap chaliye mere saath … mujhe aap sae daer saari baathein karni hain ….

NT – par mujhe geet sae baath karni hain …

Dadima – geet sae aap baad main baath kar lena … pehlae aap pia sae mil lijiyae … wo tumsae baath karna chahthi hain ….

Pia – haan chaliye bhabhi … aap sae daer saari baathein karni hain … canada ke baaren main … aap kae puna ki trip kae baaren main … chaliye …

Pia drags her away from there … & takes her to her room … dadima too follows them …

Dadima to herself – "acha hua pia nae NT ko yahan sae lae gayi … warna maan tho gussa hi ho jaathae … aur unka sambhal na mushkil hotha … "

NT & Pia … both don't want to be with each other but looks like they got stuck with each other … both are having funny faces while talking to each other … they both want to run away from each other's company … but are forced to stay with each other … dadima comes in between & keeps on checking that NT is with Pia …

Pia to herself -"Bhai … aap kae liyae … main iss torture (she means NT over here) ko bardasht kar rahin hun … u owe me for this bhai … aap kab aayengae office sae … jaldi aayiye aur mujhe iss sae mukthi dila dijiye … hey bhagwan bhai ko jaldi bhej do ….plz plz plz… "

It's been more than 2 hours … geet wakes up from her sleep … & checks the time … she checks for maan in their room but no sign of him ….

Geet gets up from her bed & starts walking towards the door & opens the door … & sees that nakul is still standing there …

Geet – haan …. Par tum yahan …

Nakul – haan … wo maan baba nae mujhae yahan rehnae kae liyae kahan tha …

Geet – yeh maan bhi naa … Maan aa gayae kya …

Nakul – abhi tak nahin Aayae bhabhi …

Geet – abhi tak nahin aayae … keh kae tho gayae ki 2 hours main aajayengae.

Geet to herself – "abhi tho lunch time ho gaya hain … aur yeh maan inko tho apne khayal hi nahin hain … bola ki 2 hours main aayengae … abhi tho 3 hours ho gaye hain …"

Geet is walking out of her room … nakul is trying to stop her ….

Nakul – bhabhi ji … maan baba mujhsae gussa hongae …. Agar aap abhi room sae bahar gayae tho …

Geet – nakul … main room main aaram kar kar kae thak gayi hun … mujhae kitchen main jaana hain …. Maan kae liyae kuch unkae pasand ka khana banaungi …

Nakul – par bhabhi … maan baba agar gussa ho gaye tho …

Nakul follows her to the kitchen …

Nakul gives her all the ingredients & she starts making maan's fav. Italian dish following the recipe from cookery book … she then prepares salads too …

Geet - Nakul ab tumhare maan baba ko ek baar office phone kar kae tho dekho ki janab kya kar rahen hain …

Nakul – ji bhabhi …

Nakul calls maan's office & finds out that he is still in office & cannot be disturbed …

Geet – dekha …. Tumhare maan baba apna khayal bilkul nahin raktae hain … ab mujhae hi jaana padega …. Yeh sab pack kardo main yeh khana office lae jaaungi …

Nakul in a scared tone – par bhabhi … maan baba nae aapko tho kamrae main sae bahar nikalnae kae liyae mana kiya tha aur … aap tho office jaane ki baath kar rahen hain ….

Geet – tumharae maan baba ko maine pehlae hi warn kar diya hain … agar wo 2 hours main nahin aaye tho main khud aa jaungi … aur dadima sae bhi keh dena ki main office gayi hun … already daer ho gayi hain … aur wo mujhe idhar kahin dikh nahin rahen hain …

Nakul to himself – "yeh maan baba aur geet bhabhi tho aaj mujhe marwa kae hi chodengae … ab pata nahin dadima yeh baath sunkae kya kahengi … "

Nakul packs maan's lunch …. Geet leaves for the office …. Maan is still busy in the office … as the work has been piled up for him … it's been more than 10 days that he attended office as he is been working from home since then … still they had some emergency works for him as he could not even work from home since the past 6 days due to his marriage … geet enters the office …. Pinky is in the reception area munching on a burger … Geet goes near pinky …

Pinky pulling geet's leg – geet maam … kaise ho …

Geet – pinky …. Maam math bolo … mujhae acha nahin lagtha hain agar tu mujhae aise bulayi tho …

Pinky – main tho mazaak kar rahin thi …

Geet opens cabin door & enters maan's cabin with a bag … every one turn their heads to check who entered the cabin …

Maan on spoting geet in his cabin checks the time & notices that he stayed in the office for more than 3 hours ….He closes his eyes & thinks that he could not keep the promise he made to geet …. He thinks that's the reason geet is over here in the office …

Maan to Adi, sasha & tasha – tum log ab jao … meeting aaj kae liyae khatam ho gayi hain … u can take care of it now …. I hope so …
