Geet's Room: Geet
Geet wakes up in the morning with a huge smile on her face after the previous night …. She remembers all the nice things he had said to her and about how he loved her the way she was …
Geet: Geet … tu Maan sir ke liye kya kya kar rahi thi …. Aur wo .. bas tujhse itna expect karte hai … ke tu bas unhe dil se pyar kare ….
As she fetches her dupatta from the side, she see's a letter on the table next to her and a rose on it ….
She opnes the letter…

Main aaj din bhar kaam main busy hoon, aur issi liye, tumhe aaj haveli aane ki koi zaroorat nahi hai …Please tum aaram karo .. tumhara breakfast, lunch aur dinner main outhouse pahooncha doonga. Aur apne bedroom se bhi tumhe hilne ki koi zaroorat nahi hai… Agar tum hili toh tumhari khair nahi … Tumhari tutor bhi aaj nahi ayegi .. aur…ek aur jo baat hai .. main chahta hoon… aaj main chahta hoon, main wo pehla insaan hoon, jisey tum dekho … waise toh tum kabhi bhi meri baat nahi maanti, par, iss baar please …. Geet smiles and is surprised too … " yeh Maan sir bhi na … kaise kaise ajeeb shart rakhte hai … main din bhar aise toh bore ho jaungi na ?"
Geet gets ready and comes down and breakfast is waiting for her. As she finishes and goes to wash her hands, there is another flower there and there is another note …

She decides to call up Pinky and decides to talk to her … But Pinky is too busy with work…

Geet: main bore ho rahi hoon….

Maan: theek hai geet .. main kuch karta hoon?
Geet: kya?

A while later, Pinky lands up at Geet's place .. with a bag full of food and goodies …
Geet: oye Pinky! Tu yahan?
Pinky: pata nahi Geet … Maan sir ne Adi sir se keh kar … aaj mujhe leave de dia … aur ye saara khana bhi mangvaaya …. How sweet na ?
Geet nods …. While Pinky is chitter chattering about all that has been happening in the office, Geet finds some time pass … Just then she gets a call…
NT: geet, aap kahan ho ???
Geet: main toh yahin out house main hoon kyun?
NT: aapki Maan Veerji se koi Baat hui?
Geet: haan … subah toh maine baat ki thi unse ….
NT: pata nahi unhey kya ho gaya hai … hum sab ko ghar se bahar bhej dia .. aur strict orders diye hai .. ke koi shaam se pehle haveli main nahi ayega … aur .. maine unhe itne gusse main pehle kabhi nahi dekha
Geet: ghabrao mat … main pata karti hoon….
After she hangs up Geet wonders, maan sir se sabko ghar se bahar bhej dia? Aur wo gusse main they? Kya wo abhi bhi mujse naraaz hai ?? phone karoon?
Geet tries his number and it is off .. but now she looks restless…
Pinky: kya hua Geet … ?
Geet: yeh maan sir bhi na … phone bhi off kar dia inhone .. yahan pe mujhse unki fikar ho rahi hai .. aur … wo hai ke ….
Pinky: chod na Geet … tu toh jaanti hi hai na … ke Maan sir kitne moody hai … office bhi apne mood ke hisab se hi aate hai … jaise kal ayethey .. aur aaj nahi aaye …
Geet is surprised to hear this … " Kya ? aaj Maan sir office nahi aaye ???"
Pinky shakes her head …
Geet: par tune toh kaha tha … ke unhone ne tujhe yahan bheja hai .. haina?
Pinky: haan .. par , mujhe yeh baat Adi sir ne bataya tha …
Geet gets really worried and hassled now .. she wonders if she should go to the haveli … and then she remembers Maan had asked her not to go there … but what if Maan sir really needed her? It was for his sake that she was breaking a promise. She walks towards the haveli, and on reaching the door she finds it locked. Her heart skips a beat.
Geet: tala laga hua hai?
Watchman: Ghar pe koi nahi hai ….
Geet comes back home … but there is a note at the door …
"Main jaanta tha, ke tum meri Baat nahi manogi … issi liye, maine haveli main sab ko bahar bhej dia .. Geet .. tum kab sudhrogi.. waise .. zyada sochne ki zaroroat nahi hai … yeh chinta waali expression tumko bilkul suit nahi karti .. toh smile karo .. aur andar apne cupboard main dekho … tumhare liye ek surprise hai …aur haan, tumhare uss potato chips ke liye bhi maine Adi se keh ke sab arrange kar dia hai …"
Geet smiles now a little relieved.. and lets out a little laugh as she reads "potato chips" as Pinky actually has a packet of chips on her hands ….
Pinky: kya hua geet ??? kuch pata chala? Aur yeh tumhare haath main kya hai ??? Love letter? DD ne dia hai ??? please geet .. mujhe dikha na .. mujhe dekhna hai .. ke ..unhone kya likha hai !
Geet is embarrassed, as she doesn't want Pinky to know what Maan had called her .. She crumples it and says … " yeh kuch nahi hai Pinky .. chal na oopar chalte hai …"
As Geet opens her cupboard to find two covers… One that reads Geet .. and another that reads Pinky.
As Geet opens it, there is a saree, and Pinky there is a suit …
Pinky: wow .. yeh kitna pretty hai .. aur bahut mehenga bhi hoga .. wah Geet … Maan sir mere Jeejaji banne waaley hai … aur abhi abhi se itney achey achey gifts de rahey hai … toh soch shaadi ke baad …
Geet blushes …
Geet: pinky .. tu ja aur tayar ho ja … uske baad main bhi jaati hoon…
As pinky goes into the wash room.. geet thinks to herself .. "Maan sir kuch toh plan kar rahey hai … par aisa kya .. plan kar rahey hai …."
As she is thinking .. a paper falls out of the dress…
"Toh tumhe pata chal gaya ke main kuch plan kar raha hoon… very smart … lekin main tumse smart hoon.. after all I am Maan Singh Khurana …ab yeh toh jaan gayi ho ke koi surprise hai … lekin wo surprise hai kya .. iske liye tumhe ek ghanta aur wait karna padega .. tab tak na mera phone on hoga aur .. na main tumhe dikhoonga …tab tak toh mera intezzar kar sakti ho na Geet …"
As she reads all this out, she imagines Maan has jumped out of the letter, and is reading all this, whispering the last few words in her ears .. She looks around … he isn't there …. She smiles to herself and says … "yeh maan sir bhi na !!"
An hour later … Geet gets into her sea blue, shimmery saree with a heavilu embroidered blouse and swarowski earrings, that Maan has made sure are all light weight, including chappals that are flats and comfortable.. she looks at herself in the mirror and smiles to herself ….
Pinky: haye .. kitni sweet lag rahi hai tu geet … chaley ?
They come out… She see's Maan dressed in all black except for the shirt inside that matches her saree. He looks breathtakingly handsome. Her heart skips a beat… There were many reasons why she was in love with Maan, his looks being the last one… Today somehow everything else took a back seat, and had Maan not slowly walked up step by step as she was in trance, to lead her down, she for sure would have tripped!
As he walks up, she just cant get her eyes off him … Maan looks at her and smiles lightly comes close to her ear and says …
Maan: jaanta hoon… bahut handsome lag raha hoon na ?
Geet looks away blushing …
Maan: par iska yeh matlab nahi ke tumhare kadam behek jaye …
Geet: ji ? ( shocked )
Maan: mera matlab hai … tum… abhi girne waali thi… agar main nahi aata toh …
Geet: oh !! wo …
Maan: (wicked smile) toh tumne kya socha ?
Geet blushes. Pinky comes in just then…. And looking at Maan, she also is about to lose balance, but manages…
Maan: chale?
Geet nods ….
As Maan and Geet walk into the Khurana house, the entire place is transformed into a lavish party place. There are different guests. Among the ones that she can recognize as her office staff, her colleagues, she is also surprised to see her mother and her father…and her little sister and brother …
Geet runs to them and hugs them…
Geet: maa aap log?
Mother: haan … Maan ne hume bulvaya hai …
Geet is happy, everyone is complimenting her on her clothes .. She still doesn't get why this gathering has collected here … But she cant find maan anywhere … she looks for him here and there … but he is no where to be seen.. NT comes to say hello to Geet… Geet's mother gives her a dirty look … Geet cant explain this to her mother …she simply asks her …
Geet: Maan sir kahan hai ?
NT: (evil look) wahan!
The spot light falls on Maan.. who is walking towards the door, and to geet's horror …a beautiful girl dressed in a long skirt made of brocade and a sleeveless figure hugging top and a matching dupatta walks in… the girl not only shakes hands with maan but she hugs him. Maan looks at her smiles and she slips her arm into Maan's as she walks on. Maan walks towards Geet … who looks very uncomfortable with the whole idea of a girl behaving this close with Maan …
Maan comes to her and on reaching see's Geet's changing comical expressions on looking at him with another girl….she slowly pushes the hand away .. and says ….
Maan: geet .. issey milo .. yeh Sameera hai …
Geet: (shocked) Sameera ??
Maan: haan ! sameera ( casually)
Geet: Oh ! sameera … hello she says ….
Maan: Sam… chalo mere saath … ek important kaam karni hai …
Sam: Oh yeah M …. Wo waali announcement na ?
As they walk away … geet thinks to herself … mumbling…
Geet: maan naam kya chota hai … jo ye unhe M bula rahi hai ? aur yeh yahan kya kar rahi hai …
Just then the spot light falls on the stage, as, maan says ….
Maan: Good evening ladies and gentlemen! Aaj shaam mere liye bahut hi khaas hai …do karon ki wajah se … ek toh .. geet .. please stage pe ayiye … ( spot light on geet as she has to straighten her face and slowly walk towards the stage ….)
As Geet comes onto the stage … he unveils a cake .. and says … " happy birthday Geet"
It strikes Geet then, that it is actually her birthday …she smiles at all … confused as to whether she should feel happy about the surprise or, wonder why sameera was invited …
Aur Doosri baat yeh … " ye maine apne best friend, Sameera ko wada kia tha .. ke main usey fir tabhi bulaunga… jab meri zindagi main koi aisi ladki aa jayegi jo meri zindagi badal degi …."
Maan: sam .. wo ladki mil gayi hai … Geet !
Geet is overwhelmed … she has no words… Suddenly, she starts feeling silly and stupid about all that she had thought …
Maan: Geet … tumhare .. iss janam din par … main tumhe yeh poochna chahta hoon … ke kya tum mujhe zindagi bhar mere saath rehna ka taufi dogi … will you get engaged to me …?officially .. saari duniya ke saamne?
Geet has tears in her eyes … she nods … As sameera pulls out a ring, and hands it over to Maan and Maan makes Geet wear it … She then gives Geet a ring … and Geet also makes Maan wear it ….
Sameera looks at Maan and says … " I am so happy for you and she hugs him …"
Maan looks at geet feeling awkward and pushes Sameera away .. and says … " Thanks sam … tum sahi thi …. Geet hi wo ladki hai .. jisne meri zindagi badal di hai … jo mere liye bani hai …."
Sameera nods, and just then someone else calls him and she excuses herself ….
Maan pulls geet by his side, holds her around her waist .. as Geet blushes looking at him… when no one is looking he plants a kiss on her cheek…
Geet: Maan sir aap ye …
Maan: ab tum meri Mangetar ho .. wo bhi officially .. main kuch bhi kar sakta hoon…
