Nupur got ready early morning, she had to make a decision now. She didn't sleep last night because whole night she was getting nightmares , Mayank dancing with Sheena. She was wearing black jeans with a yellow kurta, instead of her usual dresses. She took her purse and keys and drove to Mayank's office.

She went to Mayank's office first, why? She only didn't knew. She entered the Sharma industries, and went straight to his cabin, Sheena was there sitting opposite him with her legs crossed and both were happily chatting. Nupur's anger reached her heights.

Nupur's POV

What the hell ?This Chipku chudail , why is she here, and sitting and talking with mayank, wats happening? Does Mayank likes her'really? If not what is she doing here early morning? Does she comes always? But why am I thinking that, I have come here......Ah! Why I came here...... Was I rude with Mayank last night? I guess yes...Oh God! Whats happening?

''Hey Nupur!'' Sheena greeted Nupur. ''Hey Mayank'' Nupur ignored her and greeted Mayank. Mayank looked at her and fixed his gaze back to his laptop, ''Mayank, I want to talk to you''

M- I am busy Nupur

N- I don't care, I need to talk now

M- Ok fine. Go on. Mayank said rudely, Nupur felt hurt. But he always talked like that, she thougt and brushed off the thought.

N- Alone. She said glancing at Sheena

S- ''Hey Mayank, I'll be back, later.

M- thanks. Sheena went out

M- What is it Nupur?

N- woh....woh.....you said, .....

M- Nupur, please say fast, am busy.

N- can I join you. Nupur said quickly.

M- What? Mayank asked looking at her.

N- You offered me job, yesterday. So.. Nupur said in a soft voice.

M- Oh that! I am sorry nupur you cant get that job now. Mayank said calmly.

N- Why?

M- Sheena is appointed for that job

N- What? Why?

M- You are not interested!

N- I am

M- But earlier you said, you were not

N- But earlier you said, I was.... She was finding it hard to control her tears and mayank was praising Sheena.

M- I am sorry Nupur, but Sheena has already grabbed it, she is so talented.

N- Enough mayank, I know why you appointed her

M- Why?

N- Because you like her.

M- What are you saying?

N- Have fun with her. Nupur turned to leave.

M- Nupur..... Mayank called her. Nupur didn't look back.

N- Oh yeah, thanks for your earlier offer by the way, Mr. Sharma,..... have a nice day.

She left the office, tears flowing from her eyes. She directly went home , fell on her bed and cried her heart, why ? she didn't knew. After few hours she realized she has to appologise to Gunjan, samrat. She went to meet samrat at his house, When she called in his office she found he didn't attend office. She went to meet Samrat. Samrat came down in the living room to talk to her.

N- hii Samrat. Nupur said politely

S- Hii

N- I wanted to talk to you

S- Yeah sure

N- not here..... She said nervously.

S- Ok lets go in the garden then

They went out in the garden, It was afternoon.

N- Woh..... Am sorry samrat...

S- Why?

N- I was so rude to you, always that....

S- You don't have to be Nupur, I know why you behaved like that

Nupurs eyes widened up.

S- you were always rude, because you wanted me to hate you, as you knew gunjan liked me

He was right, Gunjan liked him since childhood, and Nupur knew that but she also knew that Samrat liked her,

N- samrat, I know you always liked me, but I never liked you..... I mean in that sense. You are a nice guy samrat,

S- I know Nupur, you never liked me in that way, But I always do

N- I know samrat how you'll be feeling now because of me, but I never felt for you that way as you always did.

Samrat knew that she never considered him more than her friend.

S- I know Nupur, you considered me only as your friend

N- I am genuinely sorry. Tears were flowing from her eyes.

S- Its okay gorgeous, You don't have to be sorry for that, I liked the way you were and you are.

He cupped her face, and wiped her tears. And they hugged, it was just a warm friendly hug and nothing more than that.

N- Don't you like Gunjan? Nupur asked him breaking the hug.

Samrat unknowingly blushed.

N- Ah! Blushing!! Nupur teased him

S- she is a great girl. But I know why you didn't like me in that way

N- Why? Nupur asked innocently

S- because that place was already filled

N- What?

S- that's because yoy always liked mayank

n- No way

S- oh please nupur, don't lie , I know you very well, not as much as mayank, but I know you.

N- Stop it mr. Sam-rat She said rudely but purposely

S- Oh here comes back my gorgeous, but seriously nupur you like mayank

N- he likes someone else

S- no , I don't think that

N- stop it Samrat! She said angrily.

S- ok sorry, Samrat said holding his ears, lets have some food. I have cooked something

N- Ok, chalo, nupur Bhushan tumhaare haathon ka khaana khan ke liye taiyaar hain,,,,

Nupur went to meet gunjan along with samrat to appologise , they reached her house,

Nupur knocked the door, and gunjan opened it. As soon as Nupur saw Gunjan, she hugged her tightly and said, ''Am sorry gunji, am extremely sorry, I shouldn't have been so rude.'' She started crying,

Gunjan hugged her, 'Its alright nupur'

N- I just said it out of frustration, And I don't want to lose you because of my behavior. Nupur said breaking the hug.

G- Its alright nupsie, I too don't want to lose you, you are the only one who know me in and out. I am not angry at you, I was just nervous and am scared to face samrat now

S- no you don't have to gunjan. Samrat said entering. Gunjan looked at Nupur, who smiled sheepishly.

S- Gunjan , I don't mid, We are friends and we will always remain. And don't be angry at my gorgeous,

G- Ok, m not angry at anyone. I was never.

Samrat hugged her, Gunjan was left all blushing. Nupur thought they need some time and made an excuse, "Guys, I need to go, will see you later, Papa's 5 missed calls"

G- You didn't tell Uncle

N- Yup, am running now. Bye Samrat, ByeGunji

Nupur left happily from there. She forgot her pain after seeing Samrat and Gunjan together.

She went home and Mayank and Sheena's thoughts haunted her again.
