Geet is walking towards her room when Maan pulls her behind a pillar. She says, 'Maan, yeh aap kya kar rahe hai? Chodiye mujhe.' Maan holds her closer and says, 'Yeh kya, Geet? Waha kitchen mein toh mujhe kiss dee ja rahi thi aur abhi darr rahi ho.' Geet struggles and says, 'Maan, waha ma thi. Yaha par Daarji hai.' Maan replies, 'Geet, tum meri patni ho. Mujhe kaun rokega?' She stops struggling and says, 'Haan, kaun rokega? Aur roke bhi kyun?' She comes closer to him and their faces are inches from each other. It seemed like Geet was about to kiss him. Maan says, 'Yeh tum kya kar rahi ho?' Geet naughtily says, 'Ello, pehle khud paas aa rahe the aur ab darr rahe hai. Hum pati patni hai, Maan. Hum kuch bhi kar sakte hai.' She comes closer and Maan pulls his face backwards. Geet frowns and says, 'Kya hua?' He replies, 'Woh Daarji ki awaaz aa rahi hai.' She replies, 'Aane do.' Maan stares at her and says, 'Bauji aa rahe hai.' She smiles and says, 'Aane do.' She comes closer, Daarji calls out to Geet and Maan finally breaks free and says, 'Mujhe jaane do.' He walks away quickly and then looks behind her. She has one hand on her waist and her head raised slightly up. She laughs and walks away leaving behind Maan smiling over Geet actually teasing him.

It is night time and Maan wakes up to drink water. He sees that Geet is not there. He leaves the room and goes out ot search for her. He finds her on the terrace sitting by the railing. He comes close to her and blows on a strand of hair covering her face. She smiles at him and takes him by his hand and makes him sit behind her and places herself on his lap. She closes his eyes taking in the peace of the moment. He caresses her hair and asks, 'Itni raat gaye yaha baithe baithe kya soch rahi ho, Geet?' She looks at him and says, 'Soch rahi houn ke zindagi kaha se kaha aa gayi, Maan. Maine khushiyon ka raasta dekhna chod diya. Apne aapko badnaseeb samajhkar bas haalaat se larhne ki thaani li. Maine toh kabhi socha hi nahi tha ke main yeh ghar kabhi dekhougi, apne parivaar se milougi. Lekin aaj woh sab badal gaya.' She sits up again and looks at him. Maan says, 'Geet, tum abhi bhi apne ateet ke baare mein soch rahi ho?' She smiles and touches his face, 'Nahi Maan. Main apni ateet ki sirf unn yaadon ke baare mein soch rahi thi jis mein aap hai. Kitni khush naseeb houn na main ke mujhe aapka pyaar mila?'

Maan takes her closer and says, 'Sirf tum nahi Geet, main bhi. Tum unn sab ladkiyon se alag ho jis se mein mila houn. Tumhari masoomiyat, natkhat baatein, behisaab pyaar aur meri liye izzzat meri zindagi ko woh banati hai jo woh hai. In ko nikaal do kuch bhi nahi bachega. Tumhe yaad hai na main kaisa tha.' Geet starts giggling and says, 'Jee Maan, bilkul yaad hai. Yamraj aapse behtar mood mein rehte honge. Aapka gussa!!' She looks towards the sky and says, 'Babaji, kabhi woh wapas mat dikhana.' They both smile at each other. He caresses her cheek as she comes close to him and looks in to his eyes. He says, 'Geet, aise kyun dekh rahi ho?' She kisses him and he asks, 'Ab koi nahi aayega?' She shakes her head and kisses his chin. He looks at her mischieviously and says, 'Itni himmat kaha se aayi, Geet?' She winks at him and says, 'Maan Singh Khurana ki patni houn. Kuch toh seekhna tha na?' He picks her up and and they look at each other all the way till they reach their room.

Geet and her mother are sitting together and talking. Her mother says, 'Geet, tu itni khil gayi hai beta. Tujhe itno waqt baad dekhkar dil vich thand pae gayi.' Geet smiles and says, 'Maan ke saath jeena seekha hai, Ma. Har din ek naya ehsaas, ek naya khwaab lekar aata hai. Aisi dor bandhi hai hamare beech ke ab koi sailaab, koi toofan isse tod nahi payega.' Geet's mother replies, 'Babaji tum dono ko hamesha khush rakhe beta. Tu ne bohot dukh dekhe hai lekin aaj Maan jaisa ladka paakar tujhe saare gham chote lagte hoge. Khush reh beta.' She kisses her forehead and leaves as her father comes and sits next to her. He says, 'Tujhe aaj kuch dena chahta houn.' She says, 'Kya Bauji?' He takes out a dupatta and a set and places it in her hand. She begins to say something when he says, 'Na mat bolna, Geet. Ek baap hone ka farz maine sahi se nahi nibhaya aur iss baat ka ranj mujhe hamesha rahega lekin mujhe kuch toh dene de tujhe. Teri shaadi ke liye, tere aane wale bacche ke liye.' She nods and smiles as he places the dupatta on her head and blesses her. He says, 'Jee ti reh, beta. Sada khush reh. Tere baare mein chinta toh hone ka sawaal hi nahi uthta. Maan jaisa pati jo dhoonda hai.' She smiles and looks away shy only to see Maan seeing her adoringly. He smiles at her and raises his collar indicating what a groom she has got.

Maan is talking to Viren. Viren says, 'Bhai, Geet ko court aana parhega. Jai bhaiyya keh rahe hai ke unki statement kaafi nahi hai.' Maan says, 'Viren, Geet pregnant hai. Pata nahi Dev aur Naintara apne lawyer se kya kya sawaal pouchenge. Main Geet ko waha nahi jaane dounga.' Viren says, 'I understand bhai lekin tareekh milte milte waqt lagega. Shayad tab tak Geet ki delivery bhi ho jaye.' Maan says, 'Haan, aisa ho sakta hai lekin'' He stops when he feels Geet's hand on his shoulder. He tells Viren that he will call back. Geet comes and sits in front of him looking at him intently. She asks, 'Kaun tha Maan?' He replies, 'Woh .. woh Viren tha. Pouch raha tha hum kaise hai.' She says, 'Maan, aap mujhe poori duniya se nahi bacha sakte. Main janti houn ke aapne kaha hai ke har dukh ko mujhse pehle aap ak pohochna parhega lekin kuch cheezein hum saath mein bhi jhel sakte hai na? Aap saath khade hoge toh aapko lagta hai ke Dev, Naintara ya koi lawyer mujhe dara sakta hai.' She puts her hands on both sides of her face and says, 'Aap hamesha mujhe himaat dete aaye hai, hai na? Aaj bhi mera saath deejiye. Mujhe court jaane deejiye, Maan.' He caresses her stomach and sadly says, 'Theek hai, Geet. Tum yahi chahti ho toh theek hai.' She hugs him and says, 'Itni fikr mat keejiye, Maan. Mujhse dekha nahi jaata.' He pats her back and consoles her saying that he will try not to.

[Introducing Ram Kapoor (Kasamh Se fame) as Dev and Naintara's lawyer. He will be Ram Mehra.]

Dev and Naintara are sitting with Ram and talking about the case. Ram says, 'Mrs. Khurana, yeh case kaafi clear hai. Aap dono ke fraud kiya hai Handa parivaar ke saath. Isse disprove karna'' Naintara is annoyed and says, 'Hum jante hai hum ne kya kiya hai, Mr. Mehra. Aap ka kaam hai humhe bachana. Kuch bhi keejiye lekin humhe yaha se nikaliye.' Dev says, 'Naintara, kabhi na kabhi toh saza kaatni hi hai na humhe.' Naintara snaps at him and says, 'Shut up, Dev! Shaadi ki aapne, baccha aapka, bhai aapka toh hum kyun jail mein rahenge. Kuch sochiye warna hum aapko khud maar denge. I will kill you! Rathod parivaar ki beti ko aap jail lekar aaye hai.' Dev says, 'Jaise Khurana parivaar ke dedicated cell hai jail mein kyun?' She glares at him as Ram says, 'I will try my best, Mr. and Mrs. Khurana lekin jab tak date nahi milti tab tak ke toh koi kuch nahi kar sakta. I will be in touch.' Naintara and Dev walk away towards their cell without looking at each other.

Dadima has come to see Dev. She says, 'Bohot takleef pohochayi hai aapne humhe, Dev. Kisi ladki ki zindagi ke saath iss tarah khelna! Aap kya soch rahe the.' Dev says, 'Dadima, main bhatak gaya tha. Ek museebat mein se nikalne ke liye, doosri mol li.' She says, 'Chu rahiye, Dev. Baat paise ki hi thi toh hum the na? Yun yaha aakar Geet ke saath'! Hum toh baat bhi karte hai toh uss ladki ka chehra hamare saamne aata hai. Aapne galat toh kiya hi tha lekin Maan ka iss poori cheez mein hona aapke liye aur bhaari saabit hoga.' Dev says, 'Dadima, aap'' Dadima shakes her head and says, 'Nahi Dev. Hum Maan se baat nahi karege. Aapko saza kaatni hai apne paap ke liye. Isse hi aapka praishchit hoga aur hum rabb aur uske hisaab ke beech nahi aayenge.' He looks at her dejectedly and she says, 'I am sorry beta. Lekin yeh mushkil aap khud par le aye hai.' He nods his head and dadima turns away with tears in her eyes.
