Their love blossomed further more. It was only Daadi who knew about their relationship. She considered Maan to be very lucky having Geet in his life. It was Geet, who melted his irony heart with her unconditional love.

Geet was in the pantry with Pinky during her spare time while she was called to Maan's cabin. She opened the door and saw him talking on the phone. He didn't see her entering.

Maan - Bro, you need to understand! Saasha cannot work until at least two weeks time. My secretary will do it instead

Dev - secretary? your special secretary?

Maan - Come on bro, she is just a secretary. ok

He ended the call and turned. He was surprised to see Geet standing, staring angrily at him. He pretended that nothing had happened.

Maan - Geet. are you alright?

Geet - Yes sir. You called for me?

Maan - Yes. to see your beautiful face, is there any problem?

Geet - but I thought you called for me to do work

Maan - drowning into your eyes isn't a simple task, right?

Geet - I don't have time. Is there anything your secretary can do for you?

Maan - oh! now I know what made you upset, but you told me to keep this hidden, right?

Geet - hmmmm...actually...

Maan - I want you to do Mr. Mehta's project

Geet - but..Saasha is supposed to do it..I'm sorry I can't

Maan - She is sick

Geet - Oh! what an excuse! What a way to reject that project

Maan - I can't believe my Geet is talking like that. She is having chicken pox, and can't come here to work

she felt sorry for Saasha at once.
Geet - Sorry, sir

Maan - My bro will be working with you in this

Geet - But you didn't tell about your brother before

Maan - Dev joined the office recently

Geet - Dev?

Maan - Yes Dev.I don't think you know him

Dev?? He can't be the father of her child. He can't be the one who cheated her. He can't be the one who took her everything-her happiness, wealth and her family. She kept on thinking to her self.

Maan - Geet. Arrange a meeting for 11.00am with Mr Mehta.


Mr. Mehta - Mr. Khurana, how long do we have to wait for Dev?

Maan - I'm sorry Mr.Mehta, but let me check

Maan went out to call Dev. Dev didn't answer his phone. So he called Daadi to ask about Dev's whereabouts.

Daadi - Dev took Naintara to hospital a while ago

Maan - why? what happened?

Daadi - Didn't he call you Maan? Naintara fell off from the stairs and hurt her leg

Maan - Thank you Daadi, I will call you later

He requested Mr.Mehta to reshedule the meeting for a later date as Dev went hospital with his wife

Mr. Mehta and the rest of the members left the meeting room, leaving him and Geet alone. Geet got up and walked towards the door. Maan tackled her legs and she lost her balance. She closed her eyes to bear the pain. She opened her eyes realising his strong arms holding her waist protectively. She stared at his eyes and they both were lost

Maan - be more careful Geet, I might not be around always to catch you every time you fall down

Geet - (lowered her gaze) actually..

He covered her lips with his forefinger and freed her from his embrace. She blushed and left the meeting room smiling at her self.
