To Love Again - Part 18

Savitri Devi had faced a situation more like this in the past, but it was a long ago and she had never thought that life would bring such a situation ever again. She had lost her one and only son's happiness and the light of life, twenty eight years back. The flash backs came like an event that happened yesterday, before her eyes. A tear dropped from the corner of her right eye knowing that she is the only one her grand son have at that moment to be counted on. The situation is almost the same, the difference is she is old now and instead of Rajdeep Singh Khurana, it's his eldest son, Maan Singh Khurana.

Rajdeep Singh Khurana was one of the most powerful business tycoon in Delhi, thirty years back. He fell madly in love with a small town girl called Muskan. Muskan was a simple girl who fought bravely till the end of her life. She filled the whole Khurana Mansion with happiness and laughter. She fullfilled the dream of her husband and her mother-in-law with a heir to the family. Maan brought happiness to the family at the same time his birth made Muskan to say good-bye to life. Savitri Devi looked after the Maan and the bussiness that almost collapsed with the death of Muskan leaving Rajdeep in a mental discomfort.

Maan was two years old when Rajdeep got married to Pammi, a widow who already had a daughter. Knowing Pammi through a friend of hers, Savitri Devi encouraged her son to move his life ahead with Pammi. Rajdeep who have never refused or argued with his mother ever, agreed and married to Pammi who gifted him two more sons. Savitri Devi knew that though her son got married to Pammi and become a father of two more sons, he wasn't happy. He kept everything to him, never shared with any one like his eldest son. The reason why she is more concerned with Maan is him being more like to his father. She saw Muskan in Geet and that is why she wanted Geet to be her daughter-in-law knowing that Geet is the only one who could ever change the iron man inside Maan.

Knowing that Maan needed her support she patted her grandson's shoulder and nodded her head hiding her tears from him. Maan who was shaken badly by the doctor's words rushed into give her blood. It wasn't a success for him because his blood group didn't match hers. He became sadder thinking that how helpless he was. He wasn't able to ease her situation with his blood. He kicked hard on the ground to release his frustration. On a second thought he took his cell phone and dialled a contact number thinking that if Maan Singh Khurana cannot get a donator
for his wife, then no one else could use a single drop of blood in saving lives. He knew he was selfish to think like that but people tend to do lot of unexpected things in love.

Being the number one business tycoon in the city took him no time to arrange a donar for Geet. He had fixed everything and headed towards the Dargah, where he found her when he lost her the last time. He sat with Baba who knew all his concerns and gave him courage to fight against
all the things and pray for God. The dargah recalled his memories with Geet, when she came searching for him during that stormy night to see him being alright or not. It was that particular day he saw love, concern and care in her eyes. Everything came to his mind as a sweet dream
as he kept on praying for her to become fine for him, for them. He spent the whole afternoon there forgetting that he never had any food since the last night's party. He received a phonecall from Daadi in the early evening so he rushed towards the hospital.

He almost ran into the room where Geet was admitted and met Dr.Sujit, who patted his shoulders to give him courage to bear the truth. 'Mr. Khurana, your wife should have been more careful..' he couldn't complete his sentence as Maan shouted at the top of his voice 'Shut up. Just shut up. You can't point at her.What do you want to say? Why don't you say it in simple words?' he stopped knowing that he was off the limits. Tears started flowing from his eyes at once as he knelt the bed side holding Geet's hand.

Nice update 😊 But you left it ath the cliffhanger!!! Is geet safe? Is the baby safe? there soo many ques coming up in the mind 😭
