Geet wore a long sleeved salwar kameez,which made people not to figure out the mehndhi in her hands. Pinky greeted Geet and Savitri excused her self to meet some of her old friends.

Geet wondered what Pinky was doing there 'Pinky, how come you are here? You know Parvathi's daughter?'

Pinky blinked her eyes quickly thinking what to tell Geet 'Geet, your Dhupatta is very beautiful, I think I haven't seen you wore it before..is it new?'

Geet held Pinky's hands. 'Pinky, come on..you are trying to change the subjest..tell me' Geet couldn't stop her questions.

'actually...Geet..I came..see Adi sir is there..Adi sir..Adi sir..can you please come' Pinky took the advantage when she saw Adi.

Adi came running towards them. He accidentally poured his drink on Geet's dress. He opened his mouth wide 'ahahahaha.Sorry Geet, actually I...'

Geet cut his words'It's ok Adi sir.I can wash it, Pinky you need to come with me'

Saasha couldn't wait without attacking Geet with her venomous words 'Geet, I heared that MK is finally getting married..so I wonder where will you go now'

'Saasha ma'am, whether Maan sir marries or not its not such a big deal for me'Geet hid her anger and sadness.

She then pulled Pinky and ran upstairs. They couldn't find a wash room, so Pinky asked from a staff there and went into a room.

'Geet, you can give me your dress, I will go and get it washed and dried for you in a while' Pinky waited outside.

Geet gave Pinky her dress and waited in the room with a towel wrapped around her body. Saasha's words haunted her memory like a nightmare. A while later she heard a
knock at the door. 'oh! Babaji, protect me.who could this be now' Geet prayed

'Please come out. it's time dear, all are waiting for the bride to come out' a lady called from outside

'bride?'Geet was shocked. She sat on the bed and saw the bridal dress kept nicely on the bed. It was the same red sari they brought. But the jewelleries had changed. Little did she know, that Savitri Devi changed the jewellery to, what she had kept for her daughter-in-law.

Geet shook her head in amusement. 'where is the bride? did she run away? what will the people say if they see her there? Saasha ma'am can't be true..if Maan marries at least Daadima would have told me. Saasha ma'am might have misunderstood Savitri and Parvati.'

Again she heard the lady's voice 'hurry up, all are waiting for you, if you need any help, I can'

'Pinky...Pinky..errrrr.where is Pinky now? Did she go to buy a new dress for me, thinking that I want just a dress.here I'm in trouble.don't know what to do? Babaji, please help me.I will give Pinky a nice lecture that she will never be able to forget' Geet kept on muttering to herself.
