Featuring - Mohit and Sanaya
Sanaya and Mohit had a small conversation after he consoled her because of his rude behaviour, they shook hands, became friends and she shyed away and walked off for her class, Mohit was just left standing there dazzled at the innocence of Sanaya! Sanaya is such a diva, has so much attitude , yet she is so innocent at the same time ..he thought this to himself..and just smiled looking at the beautiful mountains in front of him. And Mohit also walked off for his class. This was sure a starting of something new.
As Sanaya walked, she couldn't stop thinking about Mohit , she had this unknown smile on her face throughout till she reached her class. Ruhi had waited for her all this while and was worried for her, Sanaya then spotted Ruhi and went and sat next to her, Ruhi looked a little surprised to see a smile on Sanaya's face, She then asked her ," sanaya, kya hua, everything sorted out between you and Mohit?" To this Sanaya just nodded her head and said," haan ruhi, we became friends and he apologized to me for his behaviour." and Ruhi was relieved to know that, the professor entered the class and thus began the class. On the other side, Mohit 's class began and he was just not able to concentrate, but he tried hard and he was fine, but he still couldn't stop thinking about Sanaya. He had this smile on face from the time he had seen her for the very first time, and now he felt like a fool for poking fun at her, he tried hard to forget about it and he could never forgive himself for that, then the class finished and the students rushed out of the class.
The afternoon passed by pretty quickly , some students went back to their homes and most of them went back to their hostels to their respective rooms. Then came dinner time, when all the students collected yet again for another delicious meal.Now this was the first time something like this was to happen in their dining hall, something new that the matron introduced for the entertainment of all students. There was a common room which was not used that much, because most of the students were always studying and never had enough time to entertain themselves, so this new piece of entertainment for everyone was watching a movie every saturday night and then the next day being Sunday would be everyone's day off from college.
So the matron announced that just for the entertainment and a change for all hostelites a movie is going to be shown to them every saturday night. The hostelites were more than happy and couldn't be more grateful to the hostel faculty.
Everyone finished dinner and rushed to the common room, like they had never seen a movie before. The room was close to their hostel which had a staircase to get to the common room and the room was a massive one just enough to fit all hostelites. Just when everyone started to get in, the lights went off and obviously there was a ruckus where no one could see each other and no one knew where they are. Mohit dressed in a white tee shirt and blue pajamas was just entering the staircase which had enough light, he had a small torch with him which atleast led him to where all of them were standing, just then as he was rushing through the crowd , he got pushed onto a person whom he had no idea who it is and in such a way where he held the person's hand , the palm. and got pushed into the room with the person's hand in his. Just then the lights came on, and Mohit could barely see anything not realising he is still holding onto that person's hand, just when he turned his face, he was completely shocked to see this person, it was none other than Sanaya, who looked beautiful as a flower in red knee length skirt with a white top and hair open,he removed his hand immediately,he looked into her beautiful eyes he could see shes uncomfortable and so was he.Everyone settled down , they took their places and Mohit was still lost in her eyes, not thinking even once that all the places are taken , Now they both were left with no seat for themselves. Sanaya told Mohit that shes going to go to bed now , in any case shes tired and needs rest. First Mohit pleaded her to stay but then he didn't want to force her for the movie, So she wished him goodnight and went towards her hostel. Mohit took his place right at the back but seemed lost and didn't wish to see the movie further, he felt sort of weird, he didn't know what it was, but he just exited the room and went towards his hostel, It wasnt too late but was still very dark outside, and he was tired as well. But the remedy to his stress was to play the guitar and since the weather was beautiful he took out his guitar from his cupboard and sat outside his hostel out in the open in fresh air, the sky was clear with bright stars and a full moon and the beautiful music that came from his guitar was splendid, he played it so well. Sanaya tried hard to get some sleep but the sound of the guitar that she heard couldn't get her to sleep . she peeped out of the window to see who this person is, She loved how this guy played the guitar , having no idea that its her very own friend Mohit playing it, holding the curtain she seemed lost in the music and so much so that she just walked out of her room to compliment him.
Mohit just finished playing the guitar and started to walk back to his room just when he heard this voice coming from right behind him and saying, " Hey excuse me, can i talk to you please?"
Yet again Mohit was surprised to see Sanaya running behind him to talk to him, he smiled but as she came closer he controlled his smile of happiness and said," Heyy Sanaya, is that really you, i thought tum abhi so rahi hogi?" she replied," kaise soti, when your music is wonderful..and i really didn't know that you can play the guitar so well Mohit." He thanked her and asked her, " so would you like to have a walk with me for sometime ?" Sanaya said yes and then they set off on a slow walk, sanaya was a little tired of walking and she asked him whether she could sit somewhere. He agreed and then they sat in the same place where they met for the first time, Everytime they met, they always landed up at this same place where Mohit saw Sanaya for the first time in Red. He Said to her," isnt this strange sanaya, everytime we meet, we always land up meeting here and talking here, do u think the same?" Sanaya said ," oh ya Mohit, i never realised that, how does this always happen, its very strange i know...anyway tell me Mohit, tum kahaan se aaye ho, how did u decide to come here? Mohit said he is from Chandigarh and hes come here to fulfill his dreams of becoming a successful businessman and also to make his parents proud of him, Sanaya was very impressed because she always thought , he was a brat and was never interested in studying. Sanaya told him how her first impression was of him and he just couldn't stop smiling, As she was talking he just kept looking at her, the way she put her hair behind her ears , her priceless smile , he couldn't stop staring at her, he himself didn't know but he was mesmerized by her, he was totally unaware of his feelings. Then he asked about her hometown and family to which she said that her father is the mayor of Shimla but he is very crude to her and has no time for her and her mom passed away long back and she really misses her, Mohit was sad for Sanaya, that she led a bad family life and he assured her that he always be there for her as a friend no matter what happens and also assured her that this place , this college will make her life more beautiful, Sanaya agreed with him and thanked him and said," Mohit , i think i couldn't have asked for a better friend , a better person than you, thanks for being with me and supporting me, and tum sahi keh rahe ho, ye jagah bahot acchi hai, this feels more like my home rather than my real home."They both talked and laughed and joked all night not realising it was 3 am in the morning and the hostel doors shut at 1 pm. They both rushed and literally ran realising this and to their bad luck , it was closed, they laughed loud , instead of worrying what to do they just laughed and went back to the spot they talked all night. Mohit said," Ab kya karein Sanaya, hum to phas gaye buri tarah se, agar matron ko pata chala toh?" and Sanaya's face was red because of an overdose of laughter, and she said," Chill Mohit, kuch nahi hoga, at the most , thodi si daant pad jayegi, nothing big dont worry, lets continue talking , so where were we?" Mohit said he forgot and they burst out into loud laughs like they hadn't laughed in a long time. Sanaya said," ok mohit im really sleepy now, i need rest, thank god its sunday tomorrow," saying this she just sat leaning towards the tree and Mohit wished her goodnight and went off to sleep."
