Yes most of the quotes are written by me but they aren't exactly quotes they are just the summary of the chapter .As and when I find something relevant to my story I add it.

Certain thoughts are prayers. There are moments when, whatever be the attitude of the body, the soul is on its knees.

CHAPTER 37

"Mann",she calls my name for the very first time.

My heart lurches at this,and I suck in my breath.What I wouldn't give to be with her this moment.

What I wouldn't give too see her lips form this word.What I wouldn't give to have her.What I wouldn't give to make her love me only a fraction of what I love her.

We both are silent now and this more than makes up for my miserable last two days.I had realised a long time ago that however distance I put between us,Geet will always be on my mind.

"How did you guess?",I question her.

"I did not guess,I knew",she replied.

Ofcourse she knew,she had to,because I had left my heart with her,I had left my soul with her.But she will never know this,she will never know that someone loves her this much.

"Sir,do you need anything",She says.

I notice that she has not called me Mann this time.

Yes Geet I need you,I want to say.

"Yes Geet,I need you to cross check the Meerut file with Rishi."I tell her instead.

CHAPTER 38

I return to Delhi a day ahead of my expected arrival.I have to see her.I have to shout at her.I have to be with her.

I return to the office and head straight away to my cabin.I see her through the glass panel and my restlessness goes away.

She looks up at me through huge sad eyes and I know instantly that something is wrong.I am about to call her,but she leaves her cabin.I wonder where she is going.

Someone knocks at my door and I say"Come in",distractedly

It's Geet.

I look at her but she does not meet my gaze.

She extends her hand and I take the envelope from her.

"Sir,I want to resign".she says sadly.
