They were so engrossed in each other that they ended up dancing to the same song three times. Each time Sid lost himself a little bit deeper into his wife's being. His hands started to wrap around her hips and he splayed his hands flat on Ridz's back and started to slowly caress her with slow back and forth movements. Ridz melted from the inside out with each caress she received from her husband. Finally as the song played for the fourth time she knew if she didn't step away soon then they would never get to the next part of the evening. And since the next part was dessert she definitely didn't want to miss it. So Ridz lifted her head off Sid's shoulder and looked up into his eyes and stepped back. Sid immediately stopped dancing and forced his arms to drop from her back and waited to see what his wife had in store for him. Ridz started to slowly walk backwards away from Sid and had to take a deep breath before saying in a seductive voice, "Whew! I have certainly worked up an appetite. You know what I'm craving?" Sid knew what he wanted, but he simply shook his head with a no. With a sly smile Ridz continued to walk backwards toward the staircase and watched Sid follow automatically and said, "Why its what every girl dreams of..." She saw her husband's eyes ignite with a slow flame and she couldn't stop herself from continuing in a whisper, "It's what every wife desires..." She had reached the steps and so she paused at the base as Sid continued his advance, "What every woman wants..." She let Sid almost reach her his eyes now glowing with the dreams, desire and wants she was implying before she delivered the final blow, "CHOCOLATE!!!"

Upon hearing what Ridz meant Sid turned bright red in the face and couldn't help but feel embarrassed and turned on at the same time. Naturally he did what any man would do upon the teasing of his wife he started to chase her. Ridz knew what her hubby would do and was already sprinting up the steps as she screamed the word chocolate. Sid of course was faster and managed to catch up with her just as she crossed the threshold to their bedroom. He grabbed her from behind and yanked her back against his chest. She squealed in a mix of false anger and laughter and demanded he let her go, that he wasn't allowed to touch her yet. Sid was done placating his wife. He wanted her in his arms now and he wasn't going to let her go so instead he pulled her tighter into him and said, "Make me." Ridz knew she had pushed him too far so she continued her demands but only with half-heartedness. Finally she quit struggling and relaxed into his arms and he immediately loosened his grip slightly and nuzzled his nose into her hair and took a deep breath in.

Ridz's continued to stand in the arms of her husband and took her time catching her breath and waited for him to look up. After waiting a few minutes she realized that her husband was content where he was and that she would have to force him to see what she had set up. So she leaned her head back on his shoulder and he automatically lifted his head and went to set his chin on her crown. During which time she said in a false whiney voice, "Siddhant! You didn't even bother to look at the work I put into decorating the room for you." Sid immediately lifted his eyes and glanced at the room. As his eyes scanned the room he saw how she hadn't simply decorated, but rather had redecorated their bedroom. The bed covers had been changed to a soft blue and the pillows that covered it were a mix of blue and pink. The curtains had been redone and the furniture was rearranged. But what caught Sid's attention was the pictures that decorated the wall. Above their headboard was a black and white candid shot of them in each other's arms dancing that night he surprised her with his belated birthday gift song. Then on the wall across from their bed was a framed wedding photo. It was the same one they had carried with them during the rough times when they had separated for the happiness of the other. And as Sid continued to scan the other photos scattered on random surfaces of their room he realized that they were all shots of him and Ridz during various events and memories of their lives together. He couldn't say anything all he could do was pull her tighter in his arms and give her kiss on the cheek. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath and now knew what his wife had felt that day he had surprised her...

(FLASHBACK)

Sid was so excited to show Ridz what he had done to their bedroom. He had planned for almost a month and didn't want to start until he had everything he needed. Today was finally the day he was able to put it all together and he couldn't wait for Ridz to get home from work. As he waited he picked up his phone and called Yuvi, "Hey yaar. Thanks so much for covering my shift. If you hadn't picked up my shift I would have had to postpone this surprise for who knows how long. And as it is we have been living here for almost 2 months and I haven't had the chance yet."

Yuvi upon hearing the genuineness in his friends voice couldn't help but smile and respond, "Yaar, no worries after all what are friends for. Besides you weren't the only one this shift switch was beneficial for. I have been trying to surprise your sister for almost just as long but we always have the opposite days off and so we can never manage to make plans. But now that you have agreed to pick up my shift tomorrow I finally get a day off with Sue."

Sid smiled at the frustration his friend was feeling. He knew better than anyone how hard it was to get some quality time with your woman. And although he pretended that he wasn't too happy about Yuvi and Sue seeing each other when Yuvi was around he had already given his blessing to his sister in private. He had told her that he knew Yuvi was a loyal friend and that he couldn't think of a better person for his little sister. That Yuvi would always be there for her and that Sid trusted him completely. Of course, Sue loved the fact that her brother approved of her choice and loved it even more that he pretended otherwise in front of Yuvi. Sid asked Yuvi if he knew if Ridz had left the hospital yet to which Yuvi responded she just left. Sid thanked Yuvi and hung up and went downstairs to wait for his wife.

Ridz opened the door to the house with an exhausted sigh and kicked off her shoes and dropped her bag in the foyer and headed straight towards the kitchen to grab something to drink. Sid was already in the kitchen his back towards the door. Upon seeing him Ridz's tiredness immediately seeped out of her and she walked up to him and wrapped her arms around him and set her cheek on this back and sighed, "Well if it isn't just what the doctor ordered. It was such a looooong day and I missed you." Sid set down what he was pretending to do and turned around and gathered her in his arms and gave her kiss on the top of her head and said, "Awwww poor baby. Don't worry you are home now and dinner is already made all it needs is to be warmed up the second you say so and..." Ridz cut Sid off and said, "SO!" To which Sid simply chuckled and said, "Okay madam. Your wish is my command. Why don't you grab a water from the fridge while I set the timer on the oven and then I will go run you a bath so you can soak while dinner finishes heating." Upon hearing her husband's plan Ridz couldn't help but sigh in bliss. She stepped back and walked toward the fridge while Sid set the timer and then ran upstairs to start the bath.

Ridz grabbed her water and slowly set up the stairs she walked into their bedroom and at first barely gave it glance. Then as she reached the center she looked up and upon seeing her surroundings her feet froze in their spot. She turned a slow circle her eyes bouncing off every surface of their bedroom. Every place she looked there were pictures. They were set up in different spots the wall, the dresser, the nightstand, the coffee table. They varied in sized and tones but they all had one thing in common. They were all single shots of her and her alone. Some where she was laughing with a carefree attitude, others with her lost in deep though, some with her crying tears of joy, others with her eyes filled with anger and chudailgiri. As she finished making a 360 of the bedroom her mouth open in an O and Sid slowly came out of the bathroom with a nervous smile. Her eyes shot to his as she waited for an explanation.

Sid walked up to her and grabbed her hands in his and began, "I have been planning this for almost 2 months now. I wanted to make sure I had everything before I set it up and surprised you and today it finally worked out. Although this surprise was partially for you it was just as important for me. See I wanted our bedroom set up so that no matter what direction I stood in no matter what angle I would always get to see you." All Ridz could do was stare in shock at her husband. "These are the moments of you that made me fall in love when I wasn't even looking. These are the pictures that flash through my mind whenever someone asks me how I fell in love, why I fell in love. I just wanted to show you how you have surrounded me both metaphorically and now literally and how you have become my whole world." Ridz was so overwhelmed with this unexpected gift that came straight from her husband's heart that she could only stand there like a wax statute. Sid slowly came up to her and waited for her response when he got none he started to feel nervous again and started in on plan B as he told her nervously, "But don't worry I also made the room more welcoming to you. I made sure the pillows were your favorite shade of pink." Knowing how much Sid disliked the color pink on anything but her the fact that he put pink pillows in their bedroom sent Ridz over the emotional edge and she ran straight into her husband arms and started to shed tears of joy. Sid wrapped his arms around her his heart lifting in joy at giving his wife a little moment of happiness."

(FLASHBACK ENDS)

Ridz brought Sid back to the present with her words, "Sid I loved what you did for me that day and it melted my heart. But although the idea you had was perfect you were missing the one key thing. The pictures shouldn't have been just me, they should have been us. This is our bedroom and this is our life and just as you wanted to make sure you saw my face no matter where you looked, I too want to see your face wherever I look. So Mr. Siddhant Modi welcome to our room." Sid turned Ridz around in his arms and looked into her eyes so that she could read the love and gratefulness brewing in his eyes. He slowly lowered his head as she raised hers and he kissed her on the cheek and pulled her so close that they was no space between and he whispered the words that his heart spoke with every beat it took, "I Love you Riddhima Modi."
