Awww thank you lovelys for liking the FF and for continuing to read my lamba lamba story...i honestly didnt think i would be stretching this for so long in fact my original goal was to make a short story in response to an epi aur kaha se kaha pooch gayi...

and yes the burger part was choorified from JeRan i must admit i dont think i would have EVER thought of something as unique as that, but i did give it my own Siddhima twist😆...

ne wayz i have written the next part tho yeh lo

oh one more thing...do you guys like the flashbacks??? just wondering cuz i add them in cuz i have a scene i want to add in and instead of writing them as a bunch of single OSs i thought i'd tie them into this story, but if they are getting in the way then i MAY start cutting them out...no promises 😆

UPDATE 8

Sid and Riddhima spoke softly over dinner remembering old times and laughing over funny ones. As Ridz started to talk about the future and how she couldn't wait to see what more life could offer her Sid couldn't stop himself from remembering the conversation he had had earlier with his uncle. And immediately he started to prepare himself to tell her what he had found out earlier. He didn't want to ruin her surprise but he knew he couldn't keep something this big from her either. He started to open his mouth and let the words come out but Ridz got up from the table and put her fingers over his lips and said, "Shhhhh. Don't say anything yet. This was only the first part of our evening." She grabbed his hand and turned away and dragged him along the path of candles she had laid down earlier. The path led directly to their living room.

Sid tried to stop her and called out to her, "Riddhima'Riddhi I... have to...tell you something. But the second they reached the center of the living room music came on and Sid's voice was drowned out. Ridz let go of his hand and twirled around so that she faced him and on her face was a glowing smile and her eyes sparkled with mischief. She slowly reached up and took his arms and laid them at her waist. She then wound her slender arms around his shoulders and linked her fingers behind his neck. Sid tried once again to tell Ridz that he needed to tell her something important, but she leaned up to his ear and said, "You have paid your dues for being late, Mr. Modi. I now grant you permission to dance with me." Then with a false stern voice she added, "BUT you may only dance! Nothing else." With the end of her words the song changed and a tune Sid recognized very well began. Upon hearing the music Sid's eyes immediately looked down into Ridz's eyes and they both started to remember...

(FLASHBACK)

Sid was pacing at the club and at every turn around he would glance at his watch. "Where is she? They said they would bring her here, and if they don't get her here in the next few minutes than everything I have planned will once again be a flop." Sid was just about to turn around again when Armaan came up from behind and slapped him on the shoulder. Sid stopped and turned around and said, "YOU!! If you are here then where is she?? You guys promised me you could handle this part of the plan..."

Armaan cut Sid off and said, "Relax yaar, we told you we would bring her and Sue and Shilpa are on it. The girls sent me here to make sure you wouldn't pass out from worrying too much."

Sid just gave Armaan a dirty look and continued his pacing. "Easy for you to say, your mr. suave. Even when you aren't trying you manage to impress Shilpa. And here I am. I plan everything down to the T and then what happens?? The complete opposite. Instead of impressing my wife I only manage to make her angry."

Yuvi came up and responded with, "Don't worry yaar. This time it will work out for sure we are all with you. Besides the best part is she doesn't even know what you have in store for her. So no matter what it will definitely be a surprise for her."

Meanwhile, the girls were at Sid and Ridz's house getting together for their monthly girls night. Shilpa was talking to Ridz in the living room while Sue took Angie aside to fill her in on the plans. "Di, Super boy wants us to get Ridz to the club tonight he has something planned for her and we promised him that we'd take care of it. You in?" Angie replied, "Of course! I love being a part of covert ops. Especially when they involve my brother in law and they are for my little sis. What do you need me to do?" Sue started to whisper the plan into Angie's ear and got her approving nod. They then returned back to the living room and joined into the conversation Ridz and Shilpa were having.

Sue began, "So what's the plan for tonight girls? Movie? Food tasting at the new restaurant?" Ridz responded with, "How about a movie? I really wanted to check out that new romantic film that came out last week. But I didn't want to mention it to Sid cause he would have pretended he wanted to watch it just for me and I didn't want to torture him with a pure chick flick. Last time he took me he fell asleep on my arm and half way through the movie my arm started tingling and it didn't stop all night. Upon hearing the story all the other girls started cracking up.

After they all managed to catch their breaths Angie said, "No girls. I want to go dancing. I haven't gone dancing in forever, and since I'm back with my girlies this is the perfect opportunity." Shilpa also chimed in with a grin, "I'm always ready for some dancing, after all I am dhanno." To which Sue couldn't resist, "Ooooo but only a certain someone's dhanno. But you guys are right. I'm down for some dancing I've been so busy with shifts lately that I haven't had chance to cut loose." They all turned towards Ridz and awaited her response. Ridz said, "Well it is girls night." Then she started to sing, "Where's the party tonight???"

The others responded with, "On the dance floor!!!" The girls quickly got ready and headed out to the club.

Twenty minutes later Sid was still pacing and Armaan and Yuvi had taken up seats across from him and watched him. There heads swung from one side of the room to the other like they were watching a tennis match. "Where are they? I'm going to call them right now." He took his phone out of his pocket and was just about to dial when it rang instead. He put it up to his ear and called out, "Hello. Hello! Hello? Come on why aren't you speaking? Where are you guys? How long?" As he finished his tirade he realized that no one had responded. He was about to start again when Yuvi stepped in and said, "Sid! I'm pretty sure your ringtone was for your text messaging and not a phone call." Sid looked down and realized that Yuvi was indeed correct. His face turned slightly pink as he clicked to open the message, while Armaan almost fell off his chair and Yuvi simply rolled his eyes. Sid read the message aloud Superboy just left with Bhabi should be there in about 15 :)-Sue. Upon seeing the text Sid immediately relaxed and sat down with a sigh relief "She's coming."

Fifteen minutes later the boys saw the girls stroll into the club. Sid's eyes were immediately drawn to Ridz as she walked in laughing. He automatically started to rise from his chair and his feet of their own will started walking towards her. The boys each grabbed an arm and forced him to sit back down into the seat. Armaan although he was staring at dhanno said, " Oye. Calm down. No need to go off racing like a horse. We have time. Just chill yaar. Just chill." Yuvi with a wide grin upon seeing Sue told Sid, "Dost, just give yourself a few moments. You have put in so much work don't spoil the surprise. You will get to her soon enough, right now we need to stay hidden in the corner. Just sit back and enjoy."

Sid sat back down and did as Yuvi told, enjoyed the show. The girls went immediately to the dance floor and started grooving to the music. They enjoyed about five songs one of which was Uff teri aada and immediately upon hearing the song all the girls screeched and pointed at Ridz all went wild. After the five songs ended they went to the side and the boys got up to put Sid's plan into action.

The girls went to the bar to grab some water and chat off to the side. "Whew!! Now that's what I call dancing!" Angie called out. To which Shilpa said, "Well off course, after all Dhanno is with you, then dancing is only enhanced." Sue laughed and said, "Shilpa but of course. But you know what? I think tonight's dancing goes to Bhabhi, the way she cut loose to the music was to die for. Too bad Superboy missed it. If he had seen it I am positive he would have swallowed his tongue whole." Ridz simply laughed and blushed at the words her little sis spit out. They continued talking for a bit longer then all of the sudden the lights in the club dimmed and the girls all stopped.

The DJ spoke out, "Ladies and Gentleman. Could I please have your attention we have a very special treat. This comes from a loving husband for his wife." Then the voice on the mic changed and with the lights still dimmed the next set of words began, "It was my wife's birthday 2 weeks ago and although I had planned a wonderful dinner and planned to get her the perfect cake. I somehow managed to get myself stuck in an emergency at work and in the process of trying to surprise my wife only managed to make her very angry." Immediately upon hearing the new voice Ridz's heart knew it recognized it. But as the words continued Ridz's brain started to realize who it was. The lights had also started to slowly come on brighter so that now the lower half of a man was illuminated and words continued, "But she was kind enough to forgive me for my mistake although she told me I owed her. So today I am fulfilling that debt." The spotlight came on completely and before the audience stood Sid in dark blue jeans, a white button up shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows and black vest and black skinny tie. Ridz simply sighed at the sight of her lovely husband. Sid continued, "Today my dear wife I will express to you my feelings of this life I have been gifted with. I am going to tell you what I wake up each morning thinking and what I thank God for every night. I love you Riddhima. And Happy Belated Birthday love." Ridz's eyes had started to get misty and her heart had filled with love. She mouthed the words I Love You to Sid.

The music started to play and Sid started to walk towards Ridz and just as he reached her he opened his mouth and started to sing Kaise mujhe tum mil gayi, Kismat pe aaye naa yakeen. Sid took Ridz's hands in his and started to walk backwards toward the center of the floor. Utar aayi jeet mein, Jaise chaand utar ta hai, Kabhi haule haule dheere se. Once they reached the center he took her in his arms and started to dance with her as he sang the rest of the song to her. Ridz was so caught up in the moment and in the man whose arms she was dancing in that she didn't realize her eyes were crying. When Sid finished he leaned down and whispered in her ear, "I love you Riddhima. I don't know how I got you, but now that I have you I will never let you go." RIddhima leaned up and kissed him on the cheek and then hugged him tightly.

The rest of the gang had enjoyed Sid's gift to Ridz almost as much as Riddhima had and when the song ended they came up to give the couple a group hug and of course to give some ribbing to Sid...

(FLASHBACK ENDS)

Riddhima used her fingers at Sid's neck and started to play with his hair as she said, "I know what you are thinking of. And yes, when you sang this for me it was more than a dream come true. But today this song was chosen because this is what you are to me." Sid pulled Ridz tighter in his arms and kissed her on the top of her head. Then as they danced they lost themselves in the music and in each other's arms...
