Hello,
I know all of you thought that the Lock Opening Part was a bit unlikely for Maan. Well, I would mend it in the next update or after that.

Chapter 27
U, Me aur Teddy
Maan and Geet step inside the shop.
"Oh no!! Why it is so dark here?", Geet asked as she entered the shop.
Maan controlled his rising temper and with a hand on his head he said, gritting his teeth, "Geet, we are inside a shop that's supposed to be closed. And if that's not enough you should remember that we've entered here stealthily".
"What do you mean stealthily? Did I tell you to open the door like this? You opened it, with your own hands, and in this way, like thieves".
Geet was testing his patience. His temper was gradually rising and he didn't know how to control and prevent himself from bursting.
"Really!!! Then who was adamant to be inside the shop?"
"Haan who mein… Are chaddo! I've to get a gift now. But it's so dark!"
Maan really didn't know, why on earth he knelt to the wishes of this girl, "Pata nahi!!! Pyaar karne ke liye bhi mujhe yahi ladki mili thi!!!", he thought to himself. Thinking this, he opened some of his shirt's buttons, as he was feeling very hot there.
While he was busy in his own world of thoughts, Geet's hands were groping in the darkness to give her a sense of location. Suddenly her hand fell on Maan's bare chest where his heart was pounding hard.
At first she got scared of the touch, and the shivers that passed through her entire body with her touch. Gradually she composed herself but her breathing was still abnormal, she was breathing heavily and in many breaks. As she went to withdraw herself from Maan she noticed that Maan had placed his hand above hers.
Maan's gaze was directed on her face, her eyes and the soft lips.
Geet was shying away from his penetrating gaze. Even in the dim light, she could easily feel the intensity of Maan's gaze on her. Although she knew, that Maan loved her beyond limits, it always made her feel nervous and shy, and she couldn't help but blush.
Instead this time she decided not-to. It took her great effort to stop being in that moment but she managed to speak out, "Maan".
Only Maan was so lost in her to notice the strain in her voice.
"Maan", she said again this time, emphasizing her words.
Maan's eyes could see nothing but her, and all his senses had gone holidaying after his eyes started feasting upon her beautiful face, fresh smile and those sharp features.
"Maan, if you care to step other side, and give way to some light, would I be able to see something", Geet said, this time slightly irritated and blushing by the intensity of his feelings. It took her more than the human effort to avoid herself from drowning in those sharp, dark, piercing eyes and loosing herself in the emotions that were brimming from his eyes and his touch.
Maan jerked into reality after her irritated voice, and was slightly embarrassed, but God was in no mood to let these two go off so easily.
Just when he was about to leave her hand, both heard a footstep, in the otherwise calm surroundings. Geet gave a worried look to Maan, who wondered about this intruder.
Today, his mind was actually in sync with his heart, and instinctively he wrapped his arms around her, so tightly that Geet hid in his wrapping and could not be seen through the otherwise glass window, as if to save her from any danger.
Geet got shocked as she wasn't prepared for this attack, that rendered her mind, heart and body, all out of order at once. She trembled in his grip.
Maan silently whispered into her ears, his breath falling on her neck and ears making her more vulnerable. She felt she was amorphous now, that her self had melted away in his closeness. The tingling sensation of his breath was a last blow on her senses which made her go dizzy.
"Shhh… I think it's a watchman. Don't say anything, lest we would be caught and turned over from here", said Maan, unaware of the assault that his closeness was causing to Geet.
Geet was too numb and shocked to reply.
Even when the watchman had moved ahead both couldn't let go off their hold.
It was after he could hear the distant footsteps of the watchman, going on the opposite direction, did he realize that he was holding on to Geet like that for past some time. And he actually loved the warm sensation in himself. He felt the happiness, the contentment, the flavor of success, everything that was worth the goodness, in her soft and tender touch.
The watchman had actually seen the two and smirked as he assumed the two standing on the opposite end and their reflection on the glass. He was right, the only difference being, he saw them through the glass and not their reflection by the glass.
When he returned on the same corridor, he thought of finding them, but Maan had anticipated this and he just knelt down on his knees suddenly, taking Geet with him. His actions were so swift and unexpected that Geet couldn't take up with the happenings, and Geet ended up falling on Maan. Together they hit the floor.
Geet's one hand was still on his chest, while other on the shoulder, while Maan's both hands were tied around her waist, not wanting to break the hug.
Watchman not seeing anyone in the corridor, tapped the glass door with his stick, which made Geet so afraid that she got closer to Maan resting her head on his bare chest, her hands on the shoulders, and her eyes closed tightly. Maan secured his grip tighter, so as to protect her from losing balance again.
Both stayed there in the same posture not willing to move unless their beautiful dream breaks.
Geet opened her eyes gradually, and saw herself so close to him, his proximity was intoxicating. It made her forget everything but him. She moved her head upwards and unexpectedly kissed his bare chest.
A moment later realizing her position and location.
While Maan was still in the fantasy of Geet not realizing, what happened was his own minds playing tricks or the reality, but Geet's curly locks falling on him, tickling his skin, and her efforts to get up assured him that it was a reality.
While Geet struggled to get up, Maan tightened his grip a bit, making Geet fall back with a jerk.
Maan and Geet were inches apart from each other, the eyes promising each other to hold back on to themselves come what may.
"Maan, are you going to stay like that all night", said Geet, realizing a second later as what she had said. She immediately covered up her mouth with her hands.
"Actually, I don't have any problem", said Maan, a mischievous smile spread across his face.
"Maan, leave me now", she said, getting all flustered.
Maan realized her uneasiness and both got up.
Geet immediately went to the other side of shop, and before she could start reeling the day's incidents, a huge cute teddy bear caught her fancy. Almost instantly she picked it up, playing with it.
Maan roamed about here and there thinking about his close moments with Geet, her anger at the hospital, and he soon remembered why he was here. He had to look for something for Muskaan. He looked to find something apt for her, and while searching for a toy, he slipped something else into his pocket.
He again searched here and there, when he found the teddy bear filled side. He really liked those big small colorful teddy's that were put on display and wanted to pick one for Muskaan but couldn't decide which one. So, he thought about taking Geet's help but he couldn't locate her. He was thinking where she would be when he heard some whispers and saw Geet with the cutest teddy bear.
He went to Geet's side and asked, "Geet, please give this teddy to me".
"Maan, you play with teddys", Geet asked taunting him.
"No…"
"Then why are you asking for my Brownie…"
"I want this teddy bear", he said.
"No… I'm not going to give it", she said stubbornly.
Maan raised his brows, he loved her child like activities. It was this feature that made her unique, that made her special, that made her 'his Geet'.
Shoving his thoughts aside, "Geet, this teddy is mine", said Maan, taking a hold of teddy.
"Why??? I'm not going to give it to you"
Maan was exasperated.
"And from when did Maan Khurana start playing with teddy bears?" Geet remarked.
"Geet, I said I want it, means, I want it", said Maan trying to get the teddy bear out of her grip.
And off they go on a full fledged fight, shaking the teddy bear hard with both their hands in order to get the teddy to them. They were pushing each other away, in order to take hold of whole teddy bear. The pushing act got so impactful that both Geet fell to her left side, Maan along with her, and they both landed with a 'thud' on a giant human size teddy bear, each sitting on the teddy's so called small puffy legs.
The teddy was still held by four hands, and stretched from opposite sides, when suddenly they become conscious of their position and the closeness and the wildness with which they were fighting tooth and nail.
Soon both came on the track of decency trying to make up for their behavior.
Geet: You can take it.
Maan: You took it first. So, you should have it.
Geet: Ummm…Voh…its okkk… I don't want it.
Maan: You called it Brownie na… Nice name. That means its yours.
Geet: Just now, you were fighting for Brownie and now you just say that I must take this.
Maan: Can't you do something without arguing. I wanted it but now, I don't need it. You take.
"No you…"
"I said you.."
"Oho… I said that you take it"
"No.. I'm not"
And now they were tossing the teddy to each other.
In their anger and frustration they both pointed fingers on each other, saying…
"Maan"
"Geet"
Unaware of the fact that while one of their hands were pointing fingers on each other, the other hand was on the Teddy Bear's back, their fingers intertwined into each other through Teddy's soft furs.
So, once again I'm dropping the story in the middle....😉
Don't bash me for that...I just can't help it😉
