Days had passed by quickly in preparation for the wedding...tonight was the night of the mehndi and sangeet...the guests were slowly arriving at Sinha house...when Sujal arrived at the door with Daima and some friends...Abhinav came to the door as he saw Sujal..the happiness visible on his face...Sujal smiled and then bent down to take his blessings...Abhinav gave his blessings and then hugged Sujal happily..when Kashish walked to the door holding an aarti tray..Sujal moved back with a smile and looked towards Kashish...she lowered her eyes a little and maintained a smile on her face as she did his aarti...Daima was observing this silently...Kashish's pain obvious to her...

Kashish: aap...aap darwaze pe hi kyun khade hai ...andar aaiye.....Maahi kabse aap sabka intzaar kar rahi hai..

Sujal: acha...to sirf Maahi hamara intezar kar rahi hi...aur koi nahin?

Kashish just looks at him for a moment....

Kashish: aaj sirf honewali dulhan hi tumhara intzaar kar sakti hai...uska hakk banta hai...

Sujal: yaani ke hone waale sasur...aur saali ji ka koi haq nahin banta?..muje ek nahin aap teeno ka pyar chahiye

Kashish: aaj se mere dad tumhare huye...aur saali ka pyaar pane ki koshish karoge to tumhe 100 joote aur muje badnami milegi...

Sujal: arre haan..woh to maine socha hi nahin tha...chalo...hum dono ke beech kamsekam humesha dosti tho rahegi na..

Kashish: hmm...wahi kafi hai...andar to chalo tum...

Sujal: chaliye..

Sujal smiles at her and then follows Kashish and Abhinav inside...when he spots Maahi sat on the chair..having her mehndi done from Sia and another lady..Sujal smiled at her and Maahi lowered her eyes out of shyness...Sujal was taken towards Maahi by a friend..as they made him sit besides her...Maahi felt his presence but avoided making eye contact with him as she silently sat their..the function continued to go on with people singing and dancing..Kashish continued to smile...trying to show her happiness but only Daima,Sia and Rohan were aware of her feelings...Kashish eventually came and stood beside Maahi...when Maahi turned her head and looked at her..

Maahi: Kashish...aaj pehli baar in dono gharon me khushi ke pal aaye hain..kya aaj ke din tum naachogi nahin?

Kashish: main...dance?....lekin Maahi...

Maahi: lekin wekin kya..apni behen ke sangeet pe nahin naachogi tum...

Kashish: zaroor nachti...lekin tum to janti ho....woh ghunghroo saath nahi hai to uske bina kya....

Sujal just smiles at her..

Sujal: bas itni si baat...uska hal hai humare paas...

When Maahi looks at Sujal...Sujal lifts a gift box from the side...he stood up and passed the box to Kashish..

Kashish: yeh...yeh ab kya hai.....bachpan ki tarah aaj khali box deke mazak to nahi kar rahi kyunki tum to pehle se hi muje khali kar chuki ho...

Maahi: arre tum kholo to sahi...aaj ke din main thodi na tumse mazaak karsakti hoon..yeh tohfa hum dono ki taraf se hai tumhare liye..kyunki humari khushion ke peeche agar kissi insaan ka haath hai to woh tum ho Kashish...

Kashish: lekin uske liye gift ki kya zaroorat thi..kya main tum dono ke liye itna chota sa kaam nahi kar sakti...

Sujal: zaroorat thi..kyunki aaj hum tumse kuch aur maangna chahte hain..jab tum isse khologi tho sab samaj jaogi

Kashish: kuch aur....ab to dekhna hi hoga...

Kashish looks at the gift box and unwraps it..she takes out a rectangle shaped velvet box...she looks at Sujal and then lifts the lid...to reveal two beautiful golden ghungroos...she gently touched them and then looked at Maahi..

Maahi: kaisa lagga humara tohfa

Kashish: bahot hi khubsurat hai...lekin itna costly gift....main ise accept nahi kar sakti...shayad iske badle me main tumhe kuch na de pau...

Sujal: iske badle me tum humare liye isse bhi zyada keemti tohfa de sakti ho..

Kashish: woh kya..

Sujal: agar aaj tum humare liye in ghungroo ko pehan ke nachogi to woh humare liye isse bhi zyada keemti hoga

Kashish: hmm...thik hai....aaj main zaroor nachungi....aaj tumhe tumhari dulhan jo dena hai muje....

Sujal just smiles at her in happiness that she agreed and Maahi was equally delighted..

Sujal: thanks Kashish..tumne haan kehkar hume bohat saari khushi di hai

Kashish: Sujal....koshish sari zindagi karungi....ki tumpe aur tumhare pyaar ki khushi ko kabhi kisi ki nazar na lagne doon....khud ki bhi nahi....

Kashish just looks at him for a moment....

Kashish: Sia....mera saath nahi dogi aaj..

Sia just looks towards Kashish...she nods in a yes as she tried to smile..Kashish looked back at the box...and was about to lift the ghungroos when Sujal placed his hand over hers...she just looked at him for a moment as he moved back her hand..lifting the ghungroos...

Sujal: pichli baar yeh ghungroo meri wajah se toote the...par aaj main inhe apni asli jagah par pohanchana chahta hoon..

Sujal smiles at her and kneels down...he slightly lifted her ghagra to fasten them..

Kashish: Sujal...ple rehne do....Sia...Sia kar degi.....

Sujal: kyun..main kyun nahin karsakta?..yeh to meri khushkismati hai ke muje tum jaisi dancer ke pairon me yeh ghungroo pehnane ka mauka mil raha hai...muje yeh karke bohat khushi hogi..

Sujal lifts the ghungroo and slowly starts tying them around her ankles one by one..

Kashish;s eyes get teary while looking down at Sujal ..Sia and Rohan could see the tears forming in her eyes...Sia held onto Rohan's hand tightly to control her emotions...whilst Kashish lifted her head quickly wiping away her tears before they were noticeable...

Kashish: kya...kya ab main ja sakti hoon...

Sujal: bas..hogaya hai..

Sujal fastens the clasp on the ghungroo...his finger brushing her foot as he stood up..she closed her fist..holding her feelings in with great difficulty..

Sujal: hogaya Kashish..ab tum ja sakti ho

Kashish: Thanks.....chale Sia...

Sia: hmm..

Rohan gently presses her hand to reassure her and then let go of her hand..as she followed Kashish to the centre..

Everybody looked at Kashish…and then each other…when Sujal stood up and started clapping…the others followed…Maahi sat their with a smile…as she looked towards Kashish…Kashish stared back at Sujal…her eyes slowly turning moist…Rohan, Sia and Daima watching her carefully…before Kashish would break down infront of everybody…she just ran away from their…running towards the steps and up into the room..her ghungroo bells ringing…as tears started flowing from her eyes…she just ran into her room and locked the door…running towards her bed…as she dropped on the bed…holding the pillow tightly between her fists…and crying bitterly..her pain unbearable…

It was now the next day..the day of Sujal and Maahi's wedding...it had been a very difficult morning for Kashish as she busied herself in work all day..it was now a few hours before the wedding...and it was time for Maahi to get changed into her wedding dress..when Sia and Rohan came to Kashish's room...

Kashish: tum dono yaha...maine tum dono ko Maahi ko taiyaar karne bheja tha...kya itni jaldi taiyaar ho gayi..

Sia: Kashish...hum tumhare bina Maahi ko kaise taiyaar kya kar sakte hai..chalo..Maahi ko taiyaar karna hai....

Kashish: tum janti hona mujse yeh nahi hoga ....tum jao..

Sia: kyun nahin hoga?..jab tum itna sab kuch karsakti ho to yeh kyun nahin?

Kashish: Sia...yeh aakhri kadam hoga mere liye jaha main Maahi ko hamesha ke liye Sujal ki hone ke liye use bhej rahi hoon mandap me......aaj agar use taiyaar karne main gayi to shayad khud ko na sambhal pau aur use pata na lag jaye...isi liye please tum dono jao..aur achche se dulhan banana...

Sia: par Kashish..

Rohan: Sia..Kashish ko samajne ki koshish karo...chalo

Sia looks towards Kashish and then follows Rohan outside...Rohan and Sia walk to Maahi's room when they saw Maahi stood by her bed..looking at her dress...

Maahi: arre tum dono agaye...main tum sabka hi intezaar kar rahi thi..Kashish kahan hai?

Rohan: woh..neeche mehmano ko dekh rahi hai.....tum chalo jaldi se taiyaar ho jao..

Maahi: kya!..woh mehmanon ko sambhal rahi hai...usse jaake kaho ke mehmaanon ko baad me dekh lena...aur pehle muje taiyaar karde..mera taiyaar hona zyada zaroori hai.binna dulhan ke shaadi kaise hogi

Sia: hmm...main bula ke lati hoon Kashish ko...tab tak tum yeh joda jake change kar lo..

Maahi: theek hai..usse kehna ke jaldi aaye...

Maahi picks up her dress 2 change whilst Rohan and Sia left the room...unsure of what to do..when they spot Kashish coming out of her room after getting changed..

Kashish: kya hua...ho gayi taiyaar ..

Sia: nahin...aur na hi woh taiyaar hogi...usne kaha hai ke jab tak tum usse taiyaar nahin karti woh nahin hogi

Kashish: woh bhi na koi is waqt zidd karta hai....

Sia: aakhir woh tumhari hi behen hai..bilkul tumhari tarah ziddi

Kashish just looks at Sia with a smile...she walks towards Maahi;s room followed by Sia and Rohan...

Maahi: Kashish.tum ab arahi ho..kahan thi ab tak

Kashish: woh Panditjee ke saath shaadi ki taiyariyaan dekh rahi thi,,,

Maahi: woh to baad me bhi hosakta tha na,agar dulhan hi waqt pe taiyaar nahin hogi to shaadi ka kya faida

Kashish: shaadi to aaj hoke hi rahegi kisi bhi keemat pe...main yeh shaadi kabhi rukne hi nahi dongi.....aur iske liye main khud tumhe dulhan banaungi...

Maahi: jaanti hoon...tum yeh sab isliye kar rahi ho taki main tumhari behen hoon

Kashish: nahi to....main isi liye kar rahi hoon kyunki tum Sujal ki dulhan ho....

Maahi: lekin main Sujal ki Dulhan hone ke bad bhi tumhari behen hi hoon...

Kashish painfully looks at Sia and than to Maahi...

Kashish: agar aaj main tumhe behen ki nazar se dekhungi to main tumhe is shaadi tak nahi pahonchne de paungi...khud se tumhe durr karne se jo darr lagta hai lekin muje pata hai ki waha pe Sujal tumhara intzaar kar raha hai isi liye muje mere aur tumhare liye nahi balke Sujal ke liye tumhe taiyaar karna hoga...muje bas karna hoga ...tum Sujal ki Dulhan ho....

Maahi: yaani tumhe apni behen se zyada Sujal ki dulhan pyari hogayi

Kashish: main apni behen se sabse jyada pyaar karti hoon...khud se bhi jyada....aur usi ke liye main kabhi apni behen koi kisi aur ki nahi hone de sakti....isi liye agar aaj tumhe Sujal ki Dulhan ke roop me taiyaar karungi to shayad mere liye yel pal aasan ho jaye...

Maahi: hmmm...hum pichle 10 saal se door rehne ke bawajood bhi hum roz baat karte thay..phir bhi aaj thak mein tumhari baatein samajh nahin paati....tum hamesha kuch na kuch apne andar chupake rakhti ho...

Kashish: aisa kuch nahi hai...sab kuch to tum janti ho...mere dil me sirf hamare parivar ki khushi hai jo main tum sab ke saath bant rahi hoon...

Maahi: aur gham bhi hai jo tum akele seh rahi ho

Kashish: tum bhi na yeh sab chodo....chalo main tumhe taiyaar kar deti hoon....

Maahi: hmm theek hai..

Maahi sits down at the dresser..she had already got changed into her clothes...her jewellery was lying infront of her...spread onto the dresser..Kashish looked at the jewellery..trying to control her feelings...and then picked up one at a time...making Maahi wear them

Kashish: sare zaver to tumne pehen liye lekin main tumhare liye yeh kala dhaga layi hoon taki tumhe duniya ki sari burai se bach sake ....lekin ghabrao mat ...mere pass Sujal ke liye bhi aisa hi hai....

Maahi just smiles at her as Kashish bends down next to her...she held her wrist fastening the thread on her wrist...she was about to get up when Maahi held her hand

Kashish: kya hua....

Maahi: tumhara kaala daaga kahan hai?

Kashish: muje iski koi zaroorat nahi....tumne bandh liya maine bandh liya...ek hi to baat hai...

Maahi: nahin..main koi risk nahin lesakti..khaas kar ke aaj ke din jab meri Kashish itni khoobsoorat lag rahi hai ke usse kissi ki burri nazar lag jayegi...

Kashish: chodo na muje dair ho rahi hai....Sia...tum yeh dupatta Maahi ke sir pe dal do main neeche dekhti hoon...

Maahi touches her kaajal..and places a black mark behind Kashish's ear..

Maahi: ab theek hai...ab tumhe kissi ki bhi nazar nahin lagegi

Kashish: main chalti hoon...

Kashish looks at Maahi and releases her hand...she gets up from there trying to control her emotions as she walks out of the room...Maahi and Rohan look at each other and then gently place the dupatta on her head...and then left the room...when they saw Kashish at a little distance...holding onto the wall...tears flowing from her eyes...Sia goes up to her and places her hand on Kashish's shoulder...

Sia: Kashish...

Kashish: ho gayi taiyaar...

Sia: humse apne ansoon chupane ki koshish bhi mat karna...hum ache se jaante hain ke tumpe is waqt kya beet rahi hai...tum kyun wahan se chali aayi aise?

Kashish: aaj se woh hamesha ke liye Sujal ki ho jayegi...maine aaj use dulhan ke jode me taiyaar karke use sare hakk de diye Sujal ko apnane ke...ab to sari umeed hi tut gayi meri....

Sia: ab bhi waqt hai Kashish..rok do is shaadi ko hone se

Kashish: nahi Sia...ab nahi...

Rohan: kyun nahin Kashish...Sia theek kehrahi hai..bacha lo apni zindagi ko tabah hone se.....tum chaho to main Sujal ko jake bata deta hoon.....

Kashish: nahi Rohan ab bahot dair ho gayi hai...aur Maahi aur Sujal ek saath bahot khush rahenge....

Sia: kuch dair nahin huyi hai Kashish...abhi bhi waqt hai..tum jaa ke Sujal ko batado ke tum uss kitna pyar karti ho..yeh shaadi mat hone do Kashish..tum apne pyar ko kho kar kabhi bhi chain se nahi ji paogi..

Kashish: main bahot khush hoon....aur main jaa rahi hoon Sujal ke pass....is waqt use meri zaroorat hai....tum log Maahi ke pass rahi main bas kuch waqt me aati hoon....

Sia: theek hai...mat sunno humari baat ko..karlo apni zindagi barbaad..yeh jo tumhari zidd haina..tumhe tod ke rakh degi..kabhi to apne baare me socho

Kashish: main ja rahi hoon...bye...

Kashish just looks at them wiping away her tears and then leaves from there...Rohan and Sia watch her go helplessly...a while later Kashish arrives at Sujal's house..she was admiring the beauty of the house from the outside as it was decorated with lights and flower garlands...she had once dreamed to be Sujals bride..and today that dream was coming to an end...she walked to the door with a heavy heart and rang the bell..when she saw Daima stood at the door as she opened it..Daima just stood their staring at Kashish...Kashish lowered her eyes and took her blessings...

Daima: jeeti raho...sada su..

Daima just stops in between as Kashish stood up..

Daima: andar..andar aao na beta..

Kashish: daima...Sujal kaha hai...

Daima: woh upar hai...apne kamre me..taiyaar horaha hai...main usse bula kar laun?

Kashish: nahi daima....aaj to hume khud hi dulhe ke pass jana hota hai....aakhir kar woh aaj ke din ka rajkumar jo hota hai....main bas abhi aayi...use dekh ke...maine vaada kiya tha na uski aur se sari rasam nibhaungi....to aap bas aarti ki taiyaari kar main use taiyaar karke neeche lati hoon....

Daima: hmm...theek hai...main abhi. Taiyaar karke laati hoon...

Daima watches Kashish as she walks up the steps...

Daima (to herself): tum jitna chaho mujse yeh baat chupane ki koshish karlo Kashish...main jaanti hoon ke is waqt tum kis dard se guzar rahi ho...sirf ek baar apni dil ki baat zubaan pe le aao Kashish...phir dekhna main tumhe kaise tumhari khushian lauta dungi...sirf ek baar

Kashish just stood outside his bedroom...the door is half opened and she sees him dressing himself infront of mirror...she just looks at him and closed her eyes...she takes a deep breathe and opens her eyes knocking on the door....Sujal turns around to see Kashish stood at the door...he just stood there for a moment looking at her with a surprised smile..

Sujal: Kashish tum..tum bahar kyun khadi ho..andar to aao

Kashish: taiyaar...taiyaar ho gaye..

Sujal: haan bas hogaya main..kaisa lag raha hoon main?

Kashish: hamesha ki tarah sabse alag....jo dekhe bas dekhta reh jaye....aur shayad dekhte hi dekhte pyaar ho jaye...

Sujal: sach?..phir to lagta hai ke mujpe tumhara asar horaha hai..sach me..aaj tum itni khoobsoorat lag rahi ho ke agar meri shaadi tumhari behen se na tai hui hoti to main tumse shaadi karleta

Kashish: kash aisa ho sakta....aaj kash main bhi yeh keh sakti ki Maahi meri behen na hoti to main tumse shaadi kar leti...

Sujal: chalo..koi baat nahin..woh kehte haina...saali hoti hai aadhi gharwali..to aadhi gharwali to tum humesha rahogi

Kashish: aadhi banne ka muje koi shukh nahi....tum yeh sab chodo main tumhare liye kuch leke aayi hoon....yeh kala dhaga buri nazar se bachane ke liye..

Sujal: iski tumhe zyada zaroorat hogi aaj..tumhare aur Maahi ke hote muje kaun dekhega

Kashish: tum na...apni bakwas bandh karo aur haath aage karo...main nahi chahti ki aaj ke din tumhe meri nazar lage..

Sujal: acha theek hai baba..lo..yeh raha mera haath...

Sujal just smiles at her as he holds his wrist infront of her..Kashish looks at him for a moment and then lowers her eyes as she starts to fasten the thread on his wrist

Kashish: ab tum chalo mere saath abhi kuch rasam ada karni hai aur phir tumhe tumhari barat tak pahochana hai ....aur waqt pe muje mere ghar bhi jana hai barat ka swagat karne ke liye...

Sujal: tum chalo..mein bas abhi aaya..

Kashish nods her head and turns around to go..when she takes a step forward..she felt a pull on her dupatta..she turned around to see her dupatta had got stuck in the thread she had fastened on his wrist..

Kashish: Sujal...woh...woh..I am sorry...

Sujal: arre its ok Kashish..lagta hai tumne dhaage me khud ko mujse baand diya hai...maine kaha tha na..is dhaage ki zaroorat tumhe zyada hai...shayad yeh dhaaga bhi yahin chahta hai ke tum isse bandh jao

Kashish: yeh dhaga hai isi liye samajta nahi...insaan hota to shayad muje jan pata...

Sujal: muje to nahin lagta...aaj tak main tumhe samaj nahin paaya to yeh dhaaga kya samjega....

Kashish: Sujal....muje na kabhi koi samaj payega kyunki main auro se bahot alag hoon.....isi liye ab neeche chale Daima hamara intzaar kar rahi hai...aur phir muje wapas bhi waqt pe pahonchna hai....

Sujal unties her dupatta from the black thread..letting it free...and then followed her downstairs where Daima was waiting..Kashish took the aarti plate from Daima and stood infront of Sujal with a smile without any connection to her soul....Sujal stood infront of her with a smile...his hands folded as she did his aarti...no one but Daima was aware of what she was going through...every passing moment was becoming difficult for her but she maintained a smile on her face..when she finally did his tilak looking into his eyes while passing plate to daima...she looks down and holds his hand in hers taking him towards his barat where all the family and friends were waiting for him....Daima stood still holding the plate in her hand as she saw Kashish take Sujal..tears slowly ran down her cheeks as she realised that Kashish would never speak of her feelings and stop this wedding...Daima held back her tears and wiped her eyes..she placed down the plate and tried to smile as she walked out towards the barat..Kashish leaves Sujal;s hand as she opened the back door of his car which was decorate besutifull with red roses just how Maahi likes.....

Kashish: Sujal ab muje izzat do...maine tumhari taraf se sari rasam ada kar di hai...ab muje Maahi ke aur se bhi rasme nibhani hai to ab main chalti hoon.....tumhe aur koi zaroorat to nahi..

Sujal just smiles at her and then holds her hand into his..gently placing his other hand over hers...

Sujal: tumne pehle se hi itna kuch kiya hai mere liye..ab muje kissi aur cheez ki zaroorat nahin hai...thanks Kashish...for everything..

Kashish: maine jo kiya woh mera farz banta hai....tumhari khushi me meri khushi hai....

Kashish just looks at him while pulling her hand from his...she lowers her eyes and turns back walking towards her car where the driver was waiting for her..Sujal watches her sit inside the car...and saw it leave...Sujal smiled and closed the door...waiting for the barat to leave..on the other hand Kashish sat holding the door handle...her eyes closed as tears fell from her eyes...

It was now time for the barat to arrive...Kashish had reached home a while ago and was preparing the plate for aarti in the kitchen...when Sia walked into the kitchen...

Sia: Kashish...baraat agayi hai..

Kashish: aa gayi to tum yaha kya kar rahi ho....jaldi chalo....

Kashish walks towards the door rushing as she picked up the plate when Sia looked at her and stopped her..

Sia: yeh ab aakhri mauka hai...aik baar phirse sochlo ke tum kya karne ja rahi ho..

Kashish: soch to liya....dulhe ko swagat karna hai aur use mandap tak lejana hai...

Sia just looks at her and then moves aside letting her go..a moment later she followed after her...Kashish held herself together..taking a deep breath...and then plastered a smile on her face...as she walked out to the entrance..Abhinav saw her come and placed his arm around Kashish with a smile..the happiness visible on his face..Kashish smiled back and waited for them to arrive..when she saw Sujal walk towards her..alongside Daima and the others...Sujal smiled and bent down taking Abhinav's blessings..

Abhinav: jeete raho beta..bohat bohat mubarak ho tumhe

Kashish: dad...aap pehle use andar to aane dijiye...aur mubarak bad shaadi ke bad kehna.....

Abhinav: arre beta..main to aaj ke din ke liye usse badhai deraha tha..

Kashish: woh bad me pehle main kuch rasam ada kar loon...

Abhinav: haan haan beta..kyun nahin...

Abhinav just smiles and takes a step back whilst Kashish steps forward and looks at Sujal whilst doing his aarti..her pain from within not visible to anyone..Daima just stared at her as she did the aarti...trying her best to show that she's happy

Kashish: ab chalo ..mera farz banta hai tumhe tumhari manzil tak le jane ki...

Sujal just smiles at her and follows Kashish inside..Daima by his side as she looked at Kashish..

Daima (to herself): jis raaste ki manzil tumhe banna tha Kashish...us raaste ko tumne kyun khatam kardiya...kyun nahin kaha ke tum Sujal se kitna pyar karti ho..

Kashish just looks at Sujal and tells him to follow her....Sujal follows her as she leads him to the mandap...he removed his shoes outside and then goes and sits at the mandap...he looks up at Kashish with a smile and then looks ahead as the pandit begun the mantars..

Kashish goes to SIa...

Kashish: Sia...Maahi ko tum leke aao..

Sia looks at Kashish and then nods her head...turning around as she goes upstairs...moments later Kashish looks up the stairs where she sees Sia holding on to Maahi...bringing her down the stairs...Sujal's eyes followed Kashish's as he saw Maahi walk down the steps...he just stared at her with a smile...she looked so beautiful in her red wedding dress...Kashish looked at Sujal as he saw her staring at Maahi...she just moved her gaze and lowered her eyes....Sia brought Maahi towards Kashish...as Kashish looked at her..she smiled and then held on to Maahi's arm..taking her towards the mandap towards Sujal...Sujal moved his gaze and looked ahead...as Kashish made Maahi sit next to him...she settled just behind them..as she sat in the centre of the two..a few steps back..

Panditjee: rasam ke liye ladki ghar se koi aage aaiye,,,,

Abhinav looks at Kashish as she gets up and walks towards Sujal and Maahi..She looks at the two as she moves forward and takes Maahi's hand into her one hand..as she held Sujal's hand in the other...she moved Maahi's hand and placed it into Sujal's...Sujal looked towards her with a smile as the pundit jee continued to read the mantars...Kashish still holding onto the bottom of Sujal's hand...as she sat besides him on the other side...she then slowly released her hand and moved back

Panditjee: ab aap in dono ka ganth bandhan kijiyega...aur aisa kijiyega ki saath janam tak yeh bandhan chut na paye,,,,

Sia and Rohan just looked towards Kashish as she tried to maintain her smile....she gently unpinned her dupatta...and placed it around Sujal's shoulders...seeing that he had no dupatta with his sherwani...she then took one end of the dupatta and held Maahi's dupatta...fastening the two in a tight knot...

Sia goes to Kashish;s room and brings another dupatta for her...she passes the dupatta to Kashish....

Kashish: thanks

Sia looks at her and gently places her hand on Kashish's shoulder...she then moves back and goes and stands besides Rohan..trying to control her emotions..Rohan just holds her hand in to his to reassure her...

Sia: pagal ho gayi hai yeh,,,kuch nazar nahi aa raha ki kya ho raha hai uske samne..

Rohan: sambhalo khud ko Sia...woh kissi ki baat nahin sunnegi...humne kitni koshish ki usse samjane ki par woh nahin maani..aur aaj is shaadi me aise shamil horahi hai jaise usse zyada khush koi aur hai hi nahin

Sia; isi liye to darr lag raha hai ki yeh kuch karna de..

Rohan: woh khud ko takleef to pohancha sakti hai Sia..par woh kabhi bhi kuch aisa nahin karegi jisse ke kissi ko yeh pata chal jaaye ke uske dil me kitna dard hai..kya tum nahin jaanti Kashish ko

Sia: bahot achche se...lagta hai ab phere hone ja rahe hai...

Rohan: hmmm...tum bas please..apne aapko sambhal lo...apne liye na sahi lekin Kashish ke liye...ab humare haath me kuch bhi nahin hai...

Sia: main thik hoon...ab shaadi pe kuch dhyan dete hai...

Rohan: hmmm...

Rohan looks at Sia and then looks ahead as the pundit jee asks Sujal and Maahi to stand up for the 7 rounds..the others followed including Kashish...as she stood behind Maahi...one of the maids walked around with flower petals as Kashish took a bunch in her hand...the rounds begun..Maahi and Sujal were showered with petals as they began taking the 7 rounds together...Kashish looked towards Sujal as she walked alongside Maahi...taking the 7 rounds whilst showering them with flower petals...no one but Daima. Rohan and Sia noticed this...there eyes turned slightly wet..as they stared at the scene infront of them helplessly.....finally the phere gets over and Sujal and Maahi sit down...Kashish comes with mangalsutra and sindoor in her hand towards Sujal...She comes and sits in the centre of the two as she holds on to the sindoor...she opens the lids and takes it towards Sujal...Sujal took some sindoor in between his fingers and was about to move it back...when the air of the fan came towards the two..the sindoor blew from Sujal's fingers...falling on to Kashish's face and hair....Kashish just looked at Sujal....as he realised what had happened...

Sujal: i'm sorry Kashish..woh hawa ki wajah se

Kashish just touched her forehead with her fingers and looks at Sujal trying to smile...

Kashish: koi baat nahi tumhari thodi na galti hai.........main abhi woh fan bandh karwati hoon.....Rohan zara woh fan ko dekhna...

Rohan: main..dekhta hoon...

Rohan looks towards Kashish and then Sia..as he walks towards the fan...and turns it off...Sujal smiles and then takes some more sindoor between his fingers..and then moves his hands towards Maahi's forehead..filling her Maang...Kashish just closed her eyes as he filled her maang...after a moment Kashish opens her eyes and passes the mangalsutra to Sujal with a faded smile.......Sujal looks at her and holds the it in his hands looking at Maahi...

Sujal smiles as he moves it forward towards Maahi's neck...he bent forward trying to fasten the clasp around her neck...when the mangalsutr slipped from his hands...falling down..Sujal moved back and looked at it when he saw Kashish's hand below...holding the mangalsutr in her hand...as she prevented it from falling...Sujal looked at her and smiled...he took the mangalsutr from her hand..as once again he moved it towards Maashi's neck..this time tying it securely..

Kashish: shaadi bahot bahot mubarak ho tum dono ko.....bhagwan tum dono ko sari khushiyaan de...

Sujal looks towards her with a smile...

Sujal: thank you so much Kashish...sach kahun to aaj agar humari shaadi ho paayi hai to woh sirf tumhari wajah se..jab tak tum saath ho..tab tak hum hamesha khush rahenge

Kashish: hmm..main hamesha tum dono ke saath hoon....ab chalo dad aur daima tum dono ka intzaar kar rahe hai....

Sujal and Maahi pass her a smile as they both stood up from the mandap...walking towards Abhinav and Daima who were stood at a little distance...they first took Abhinav's blessings as they bent down..Abhinav looked at them with a smile...and gave his blessings...he then made them stand up and hugged them both...

Abhinav: bohat bohat badhaai ho beta..bhagwaan tum dono ko humesha khush rakhe..aur harr burri nazar se bachaye

Sujal: dad ab aapka aashirwad mil gaya hai to ab se sab khuch hi rahenge.....

Abhinav: aur main bhi to yahin chahta hoon beta..main jaanta hoon ke tum humesha Maahi ko khush rakhoge

Daima: aap bilkul pareshan mat hoiye....aapki beti waha pe meri beti banke rahegi...jaisi woh yaha thi waise hi woh waha reh sakti hai...

Abhinav: muje achi tarah se pata hai ke aap meri beti ko kabhi bhi meri kammi mehsoos nahin hone dengi...meri beti kitni khush kismat hai...apne baap se durr horahi hai..par badle me usse ek maa mil rahi hai

Maahi looks down and tries to control her tears...when Kashish comes from behind and hugges her from behind putting her head on her shoulder wiping her tears....

Kashish: aaj ke din maine kisi ko aanshu bahane ki izzat nahi di....khaas karke is duniya ki sabse khubsurat Dulhan ko..

Maahi just smiles weakly as she places her hand over hers...

Maahi: aaj ke din bhi rone nahin degi

Kashish: aaj bhi nahi aur kal bhi nahi...tum kabhi nahi rongi,,,tumhare hisse ka main ro dungi,,,,lekin kabhi teri aankh se aanshu nahi girne dungi...

Maahi: theek hai..yeh muje manzoor hai...par tum vaada karo mujse...vaada karo ke tum humesha khush rahogi

Kashish: hmm...koshish karungi...

Maahi: hmmm....ab mere galle nahin millogi...

Kashish: kyun nahi..

Maahi smiles slightly as she turns around and hugs Kashish...Kashish hugs her back tightly as she closes her eyes...tears flowing from her eyes....as she tried to reduce her pain..all stood there would think it was the pain of losing her sister..nut none realised it was the pain of loosing her love...forever,,she wipes her tears and moves back with a smile looking at her....

Kashish: ab chalo Sujal tumhara intzaar kar raha hai...

Maahi nods her head...as she gently places her palm on Kashish's cheek...

Maahi: tumhari bohat yaad aayegi Kashish...

Kashish: muje bhi tumhari bahot yaad aayegi,,,,apna khayal rakhana....ab chalo...dair ho rahi hai...aur abhi muje Sujal ke ghar jake bhi to waha ki rasam nibhani hai..

Maahi: hmmm...jaanti hoon...chalo..

Maahi looks at Abhinav and hugges him...he seperated her from him and holds her from her shoulders and makes her walk towards the car wear sujal was waiting with daima...They reached the car as Sujal stood outside with Daima..Abhinav looked at Maahi for the last time and hugged her...tears slowly flowing from his eyes....he eventually wiped his tears and smiled as he made her sit inside the car...she moved up sniffling due to her tears..when Sujal looked at Abhinav and hugged him...he moved back and then sat inside the car...Daima came towards the other end as she sat in besides Maahi...a moment later the car moved away driving from their...Kashish stood their staring at the car as it left...her face expressionless...when Rohan and Sia walked towards her..placing their hands on her shoulder...tears running from Sia's eyes too......Kashish just looks at Sia...

Kashish: ab tumhe kya hua...lagta hai tum kisi ne suna nahi....main koi aanshu nahi dekhna chahti...kitna khushi ka mahol hai.....agar tumhe rona hai na to tum ro,,,,main chalti hoon....Sujal ke ghar pe bhi to kisi ko unka swagat karna hoga....aakhir kar Maahi pehli bar us ghar me ja rahi hai Dulhan banke...achcha main chalti hoon....Rohan tum zara mehman ka khayal rakhna aur saath me Sia ka bhi...main kuch dair me aati hoon...bye...

When Sia holds onto her arm and pulls her closer...as she whispered...

Sia: kis mitti ki banni ho tum Kashish...tumhe dard nahin hota kya..ho kya gaya hai tumhe

Kashish: jab koi insaan khush hota hai to use gum ka dard chu bhi nahi sakta....

Kashish pulls her arm and walks towards her car sitting inside telling the driver to take her to Sujal;s home as soon as possible as she wanted to reach there before Sujal and Maahi reach..

20 minutes later...Kashish reached Sujal's house with the driver...Sujal and Maahi had not yet arrived yet...she got out of the car and went inside the house...she walked into the kitchen to prepare everything for the grah pravesh rasams...moments later she heard a maid come into the kitchen to inform her that the baraat had arrived...Kashish picked up the plate taking a deep breath and then asked the maid to help her with the red water and the pot of rice...as they walked out placing it on the entrance....as Kashish bent down to place the pot at the entrance...Sujal stepped ahead as her fingers brushed his foot...she just lifted her head and looked up to see Sujal smiling...she looked back down and touched her forehead gently without making it obvious..and then stood up with a small smile

Kashish: Maahi....ab ise girake apne ghar aake is ghar ko aur apne pati ...sujal ko sambhal lo....

Maahi just looks at her with a smile and then moves her right foot forward..as she drops the rice and takes her first step into the house...Sujal by her side as she walked in...she reached the red water plate when Mahi accidentally knocked it with her foot...the water spilled as it fell onto Kashish's feet...Kashish just held herself together..as she moved a step back...making a foot print....

Sujal: arre..yeh to gir gaya

Daima just looked at Kashish...

Daima: lagta hai jo ho raha hai achche ke liye hi ho raha hai.....

Kashish: main...main abhi naya banake le aati hoon....

Sujal: jaane do Kashish...Maahi issi pe chal kar aajayegi

Daima: Sujal thik keh raha hai....Maahi andar is pani me chal ke aa jao..

Maahi: ji daima...

Maahi just looks at Daima and then looks down...moving forward as she stepped into the red water..making footprints as she walked inside...Kashish who was stood beside Maahi holding her arm was also making foot prints as she walked inside the house..

Kashish: ab chalo Maahi me tumhe Sujal ke kamre tak chod deti hoon taki meri aur se mera farz pura ho jaye....

Maahi just continues to look ahead..whilst Sujal smiles...Kashish held onto Maahi's arm as she looked at Sujal and then she moved her gaze..walking towards the steps...as she took Maahi upstairs into the room...she opened the door as she walked inside with Maahi..she just looked around..lost in the beauty of the room which was decorated beautifully....Maahi also looked around the room with a smile...when Kashish composed herself..and looked at her with a faint smile...

Kashish: tum...tum khadi kyun ho betho.....yeh tumhara hi kamra hai aaj se....chalo aao...

Maahi just looks at Kashish with a smile and then follows her as Kashish takes her towards the bed...she moved the strands of hanging flowers to the side and then helped Maahi sit down on the bed...straightening her dress...Kashish was about to go when Maahi held her hand...

Kashish: kya hua...darr lag raha hai....hai na...

Maahi: Kashish...samaj nahin aata ke main tumhe kaise thanks kahun..jaanti hoon ke tum meri behen ho aur tum bologi ke yeh mera farz tha..par sach baatt to yahin haina ke yeh shaadi tumhare binna kabhi nahin hoti...main jaanti hoon ke tumne apne pyar ko kho diya hai..par phir bhi tumne har rasam poore dil se nibhayi hai...i hope ke tumhe bhi tumhara pyar miljaye

Kashish: Maahi...maine kaha na jaise tumhari shaadi huyi usi khushi me muje mere hisse ka pyaar aur khushi mil gayi....ab tum darna mat main chal rahi hoon...shayad is waqt Sujal muje gali de raha hoga ki main uski dulhan ke saath kyun waqt barbad kar rahi hoon...

Maahi: paagal...aisa kuch nahin hai...ab sunno...khud ka aur dad ka khayal rakhna...

Kashish: koshish karungi...lekin tum apna khayal rakhna....Maahi ....tumse kuch mangu....

Maahi: haan kuch bhi...

Kashish: promise me you will take good care of this house...daima ....and Sujal...

Maahi: bas itni si baat..i promise you Kashish...main humesha sab ka khayal rakhungi...is ghar ka..Daima ka..Sujal ka..ab yeh ghar mera hai..aur main is ghar me kabhi bhi dukh ki lehar nahin aane dungi..

Kashish: thanks Maahi....ab main chalti hoon...ghar pe dad akele hai....apna khyal rakhna....aur...

Maahi: aur?

Kashish: aur aaj ki raat Sujal ko jyada tang mat karna....

Maahi just lowers her eyes in embarassment...

Kashish: achcha ab main chalti hoon....

Kashish gets up while looking at Maahi and than slowly turned around walking to the door....She walked towards the door as she tried to hold herself together...she was about to open the door when Sujal opened the door and walked inside...he looked at Kashish with a smile...Kashish just looked into his eyes for a moment...the pain reappearing in her eyes...she lowered her eyes before she grew any weaker and just walked out..closing the door behind him...she just stood outside the door for a moment..when it finally hit her that Sujal was married to Maahi..and she would never be able to get him back..tears ran down her cheeks as she stood there minus any expressions on her face..she looked back at the closed door for a moment and then just ran from there...she ran as quick as she could as her eyes were shedding tears of blood...as she was running to go out...Daima had spotted her..she wanted to stop Kashish but she knew what she must be feeling..Daima stood there silently with tears in her eyes too as Kashish ran to the car and told the driver to drive away from there..

Kashish: driver...ple just drop me at beach...

Driver: yes mam..

The driver turns the car to go towards the beach...Kashish sat in the back seat like a lifeless soul..tears dripped from her eyes..her heart in immense pain...when finally they reached the beach...Kashish got out of the car and told the driver to leave...the driver left as she walked ahead..silently..the cool breeze feeling like ice as it touched her warm tears...she walked towards the edge of the water...when she looked down and saw Mr. India near the edge...she fell down onto her knees beside him as she gently moved her hand forward to touch him..she touched him and then gently rested her head on his shell as she cried bitterly...she cried with immense pain...the pain that had takem over her heart..mind and soul..her body was aching...and she felt numb..as though her soul had been taken away from her...when Rohan and Sia appeared in the dhstance..they heard her screams and cries...and they rushed towards her..they bent down beswide her..Sia pulled her back and hugged her tightly..

Sia: Kashish!..sambhalo khud ko..please

Kashish: kaise sambhalu main Sia....kaise....aaj tak khud ko sambhalti to aayi hoon....aaj bahot acting kar li khush rahene ki.,..lekin ab nahi hota....bardasht nahi hota ab....pehle dusro ki khushi ke liye main andhi ho gayi thi....aur ab jab hosh aaya to tab jab aaj ki raat Maahi aur Sujal hamesha ke liye ek hone ja rahe hai....Sia woh her ek khayal jaha pe woh ek dusre ke kareeb aayenge woh meri nazro ke samne aa raha hai....jaha kabhi main hona chahti thi us jagah pe aaj Maahi hai....Sia usne....usne Maahi ko kya chua hoga....kya bata na...

On the other side...Sujal was sat across Maahi as he stared at her with a smile...he took her hand into his and bent down to kiss her hand...Sia gripped on tightly to Kashish..tears running from her eyes as Rohan's eyes were wet too..

Sia: Kashish...mat karo aisa apne saath...kuch mat socho tum..warna tum is tarah toot jaogi ke tum kabhi bhi khud ko sambhal paogi...main jaanti hoon ke is waqt tumpe kya guzar rahi hai...par tumhe himmat rakhni hogi...saamna karna hoga tumhe ab sach ka..kyunki sach baat to yahin hai ke Sujal ki shaadi ab Maahi se ho chuki hai

Kashish: tumhe kya lagta hai ki maine is sach ko nahi apnaya....maine bahot pehle hi apna liya hai...lekin sach kahoon aaj tak mere dil me ek joothi umeed jagi thi ki ..ki ek din Sujal mera hoga....lekin aaj woh umeed tut gayi.....kyunki aaj woh mera na kabhi ban saka na ban payega....kyunki aaj woh hamesha ke liye ek ho jayenge....tumhe pata hai Sia...bahot dard hota hai.....itna dard ki khud ki saansein andar dum ghut rahi hai.....woh waha pe..samaj nahi aa raha ki kya ho raha hai..

Maahi looked down feeling shy..as Sujal moved forward taking her dupatta off...his hands removing her jewellery..Rohan just looked at Sia....

Rohan: Sia..muje lagta hai Kashish ko yahan chod ke jaana theek nahin hoga..Kashish..tum humare saath India waapis chali aao..tum yahan reh nahin paogi

Kashish: lekin Rohan...yaha pe Dad....aur aise chali jaungi to kahi Maahi aur Sujal ko pata lag gaya to....main unhe kabhi ehsaas nahi dilana chahti ki main aaj bhi Sujal se kitna pyaar karti hoon...

Sujal placed his hands on her shoulders as he slowly made Maahi lie down..he gently came over and moved the strands of her hair back...he bent forward and kissed her forehead........

Rohan: tabhi to main kehraha hoon Kashish..tum agar yahan rahi to apne jazbaat ko rok nahin paogi...agar tum yahan rahi to tum Sujal aur Maahi ko saath nahin dekh paogi

Kashish: to...to main kya karoon...aur dad ko kaise samjayenge..

Sia: tum uncle se kehdo ke tum waapis Shimla jaana chahti ho...tumhare liye yahan rehna mushkil hai..kyunki tumhe Shimla rehne ki aadat ho chuki hai aur tum yahan settle nahin ho pa rahi..tum chaho to hum baat karen..

Kashish: main wapas Shimla bhi nahi jana chahti...waha pe mom ki yaadein hogi ...

Sia: to tum kahin aur rehlo..India bohat bada hai...is waqt yeh zyada zaroori hai ke tum Sujal ki zindagi se durr jaao..

Kashish: hmm...tum sahi keh rahe ho...I think ab muje India shift hona chahiye...Sujal aur Maahi se milo durr....jaha tak uski koi zalak bhi mere samne na aane paye....jaha main apni nayi zindagi shuru kar sakti hoon...

Rohan: tumne bilkul sahi faisla liya hai Kashish...hum aaj hi uncle se baat karenge...aur tum humare saath India laut chalna...

Kashish: hmm....ab ..ab ghar chale...

Sia: hmm...chalte hain...pehle chalo..tum apne ansoon pohancho...warna uncle sawaal karenge..

Kashish: unhe waise bhi pata lag jayega..

Sia: main jaanti hoon...lekin ab hume yeh baat unse chupani hogi Kashish...warna uncle ko sadma bhi hosakta hai...

Kashish: hmm...

Kashish wipes of her tears and gets up..Sia just looks at her for a moment and holds her gently around her arm as she walked her back to the car..with Rohan slightly following ahead...looking back at the two as they walked behind him
