Mayank brought maa home ... Nupur was present at home ready to welcome her ... Maa was really happy inside that her wish upon the star was indeed coming true ...

Mayank - Maa ka khayal rakhna, kuch problem ho to mujhe phone karna ... main office ja raha hun ...
Nupur - Hmm ...
Maa - Arrey, par Nupur beta tumhe school nahi jaana ....
Nupur - Maa, main chutti le li hai ... agle chaar mahine tak ki ....
Maa - Par kyun?
Nupur - Arrey ... aap pehle andar aaiye ... maine aapka favorite naashta banaya hai ...
Mayank - Bye ...
Maa - Bye beta ....

Nupur didn't say anything and through the corner of her eyes saw him leaving ... she heaved a sigh and went inside ....
Maa - Arrey waah! aaloo ke paraathe ...
Nupur - Hmm ... aur thande thande dahi ke saath ....
Maa - Waah bhai, meri bahu to mera bahut khayal rakhti hai ...
Nupur felt awkward ....
Nupur - Pehle beti, phir bahu ...
Maa smiled at her innocence .....

After having their breakfast, the ladies decided to watch maa's favorite films back to back .... Nupur switched off the lights and brought popcorn ....maa was already on the couch as Nupur sat beside her ... within no time they were in tears or sometimes had laughing fits ....

Later Nupur prepared the lunch .....
Maa - Nupur, tujhe Aangan nahi jaana ...
Nupur - Maa, bachchon ka khayal rakhne ke liye wahaan bahut log hai ... magar (pointing towards maa) is bachchi ka khayal kaun rakhega?
Both started laughing ....
Maa - Tu aur Mayank, dono mujhse aise pesh aate ho jaise main choti hun aur tum log bade ...
Nupur was used to hear this dialogue .... as Mayank had told her; she controlled all her pain inside ...
Maa - Arrey, mujhe yaad bhi nahi raha ... panditji ko bulana hai ...
Nupur - Kyun?
Maa - Tum dono ki sagaai aur shaadi ki taarikh pakki karni hai ... Nupur Mayank ko bhi zara bula le ... main panditji ko bulaati hun ....

Before Nupur could say anything, Maa went inside ... she wanted to break the ice between her children ...
Nupur - Main kaise ...
With a lot of courage, Nupur called up Mayank ....
Mayank -Hello ...
Nupur - Mayankji ...
Mayank - Nupur ... kya baat hai? Maa theek hai?
Nupur - Hmm ... wo ... unhone aapko ghar par bulaya hai .... date ... date ... fix karni hai ...
Mayank understood what she wanted to say ...
Mayank - Hmm ... main aa raha hun ...
And he cut the phone ... Nupur sighed and got back to her work .....

After the lunch, panditji arrived and so did Mayank .... while Mayank was entering; Nupur was giving maa her medicines ... their eyes met for a fraction of a second and immediately looked away ....
Maa - Panditji bataaiye, kaunsi taarikh sahi rahegi? (sees Mayank) Arrey Mayank, tu khana khaale .... (to Nupur) Nupur, Mayank ko khaana parosde beta ...
Nupur - Hmm ....

Both walked towards the dining table .. Maa closed her eyes ...
Maa - Hey bhagwaan, mere bachchon ko bas ek dusre ka saath bha jaaye mujhe aur kuch nahi chaahiye ...

Mayank sat on the chair while Nupur brought the food ... both were feeling extremely odd but didn't have any choice .... as she was serving both stole glances at each other ... they didn't utter a word and after that she went to sit near maa ....

Maa - Mayuu!! Jaldi aa ....
Mayank and Nupur were hell embarrassed ...
Mayank - Maa ... Mayank!!!
Nupur had a smile on her face but she tried to hide it ....

Mayank - Kya hua maa?
Maa - Agle mahine ki 5 taarikh sagaai aur chaar mahine baad, 27 ko shaadi ki taarikh .... theeke naa ...
Mayank - Maa ....
Maa - Kya hua, koi problem hai beta?
Mayank - Nahi kuch nahi ....
Maa - Nupur, koi problem?
Nupur - Nahi maa .....
Maa - To theeke, main sabko bata deti hun ...
Mayank - Maa, simple function rakhte hai ....
Nupur - Haan maa, please zyada shor sharaaba nahi karte ....
Maa looked at both of them in awe ....
Maa - Theeke, jab miya biwi raazi, kya karegi mummy ...
Maa laughed while Mayank and Nupur just smiled having a turmoil inside .....

P.S - I know this chapter is nothing extraordinary but this is a base to the future chapters and how their relationship is going to develop .... sorry if i disappointed ...

Ahan! Sonam di...i wasnt disappointed...i particularly loved some scenes of this chapter...

The awkwardness..the meeting of eyes....its so so real n imaginable... Both r thinking what is the other one thinking..that was just beautiful!

Oh mayank n nupur are finally going to talk! Cant wait!

Update soon...ye dil maange more n more!
