The first year exams are over and the results are out to and it's relaxation time now…………..

The college is in a festive mood with Fresher's coming in……….

The Girls Hostel

The morning bell rings and all girls get up and starts getting ready

Room no 206

A girl is still sleeping

Another girl comes out of the washroom……………..

It's Dia …………..

D: Nupur dear…………. Nupur utho………..

N: sleepily…………..hmmm bas ek …..ek……( starts mumbling)

D: achcha theekh hai ek minute hi so lo…………….

N( sleepily)…ek ghanta…(sleepily mumbling)main class mein jab hu toh by god……… so jaaoo……………….( fell asleep)

D: uff yeh ladki bhi na …….. raat raat tak padhti hai phir subah uthna nahi chahti…………waise use uthane ka idea mere paas hai………..

Dia went beside nups bed …………

D: hmmm…………aaj toh Nupur ka Samrat ke saath match tha na?

Nups jumped up

N: arre haan……………. She quickly got up and got ready in five minutes…………..

She rushed down the hostel stairs, and into the college compound, she rushed in and into the basketball ground…………

N: Samraaaat……….. main ready hoon…………aur aaj main hi jeetoongi………….

Sam turned to nups

S: achcha……….. toh theek hai…………….dekh hi lete hai………….

Sam started dribbling the ball and nups defending…………. Sam went around whole of the ground………..with the ball , he turned in a circle by then nups had taken the ball and started moving towards her side of the court Sam started defending but nups reached first and basket……….

Sam got the ball and dribbled and he made the next basket…………the game continued and the score was 2 all ……… after sometimes nups dribbling and Sam defending but……………..

N: Basket!!!! ….match …3 of 5 ka tha na………… toh main…………. jeet gayi………..main jeet gayi main jeet gayi……………

S: haan haan chalo….. theekh hai par kal main jeetoonga………. Dekh lene tum …..

N: haan haan roz hi dekhti hoon…………

Sam and Nups went to the benches and sat down there ……….. they drank some water ………… then …………..

N: achcha Samrat tumhara bhai aane wala hai na?

S: haan bus teen dino mein hi………… kyun?

N: nahi aise hi………….. tum yahan excel mumbai mein aur tumhara bhai wahan excel Shimla mein……………….

S: haan wo..... tumko toh pata hi hai ki jab main aur bhai ek saal ke they toh mere mummy papa aur bade papa ki accident mein death ho gayi thi……… uske baad ma ne hum dono ko akele hi bada kiya hai……….. ma Shimla ke commerce college mein Professor hai………….. main aur bhai bachpan se hi scholarship se padhte aaye hai….. class 12 results ke baad excel Shimla mein hum dono ko scholarship mila ……….. par phir ma ne kaha ki hum Mumbai mein apna higher education complete karein……….. toh Shimla excel ne kaha ki humara scholarship transfer ho jayegi……….. Ab college start hone ke ek hafte pehle pata chala ki meri scholarship toh transfer hui hi par bhai ki nahi………toh main yahan chala aaya aur bahi ek aur saal ke liye Shimla mein rehgaya …………… aur phir session ke beech mein excel Shimla ne kaha ki bhai ab Mumbai aa sakta hai toh…………

Nups cuts in between: toh usne join kyun nahi kiya?

S: bhai ne kaha ki wo ek saal khatam karke hi excel Mumbai join karega toh is liye………..wo teen din baad aa raha hai …………….

N: oh ……….. aur bata kuch…. Apne bhai ke bare mein………. Basketball khelta hai wo ?

S: haan …….wo football bhi khelta hai……..par main aur bhai school mein basketball team mein they…………toh wo basketball bhi khel leta hai……..

N: tab toh maza aa jayega……. By god………. Arre haan maza se yaad aaya………..

Fresher's ko tease karne ke plans ke bare mein discuss karne ke liye meeting hai canteen mein………. Chal………..

S: haan chal………….

Sam, Nups, Dia, Benji, Cj, Uday and many other second year students were assembled in the canteen and were involved in a very serious discussion………….

Discussion on how to trouble the first year newbies till the Fresher's Ball ………. And also how to give them a grand and friendly welcome at the Fresher's Ball………

In the meantime……..

S: heyy guys main paanch minute mein aaya …………….

He oe out of the canteen and makes a call

Shimla

Shilpa Aunty (Sa).

Sa: hello………..

S: maa main Samrat……….. kaisi ho aap?

Sa: main bilkul theekh hoon………. Tu kaisa hai? Theek se khana wana kha raha hai ya phir din bhar bas khelta hi rehta hai?

S: nahi maa…….. main yahan bilkul theekh hoon aur khana bhi theekh se kha raha hoon……….. par aapko bahut miss karta hoon………………

Sa: main bhi tujhe bahut miss karti hoon beta…………

S: achcha maa ……….. bhai kahan hai?

Sa: Abhi deti hoon…………. Mayu………… mayu……….

Sa: oh wo toh…….. khelne gaya hai…….. jab wo aaye main use phone karne bolti hoon……. Theekh hai?

They talked to each other for some more time and then ended the call………..

After around half an hour………….

Sa coming out of the kitchen

Sa: uff kya karoon main is ladke ka?......... dus bajne ko hai abhi tak ghar nahi lauta kab ka gaya hai khelne ko……………kitni saari packing baaki hai………

She makes a call and this time to mayu…………

Who is playing Football

The phone is ringing …………………………..

A guy in black t- shirt and blue shorts is playing football….. he passes the ball to another guy………. And then again the ball is back to the black t- shirt guy………….. he keeps on rolling it and defending the ball………… passes it ….

The guys turns around to his team

It's MAYANK………………. He has his adorable smile on his face and his team member rushes to him……………..

M: hum jeet gaye……………….

T: Mayank Mayank………… 3 cheers for Mayank hip hip hurray……………..

In the meantime

The phone rings again………….. and this time a kid goes to the phone ………… waving his hands vigorously to get mayu's attention ……………

K: Mayank bhaiya …………… bhaiya………..

M( shouts): kya baat hai tinku…??

K: aapki mumma ka phone………… jaldi…………..

Mayu rushes to his phone……………………..

Picks up the phone still breathless…………..

M: ( trying to talk normally) he…..lllo…. ma…… ha….an ma…in aabhi……. Aa ….

He keeps the phone

His team members surrounding him………….

Guy 1: Last match bhi jeeta ke jaa raha hai tu…………..

Guy 2: haan yaar pehle Samrat aur ab tum…………

Mayu just smiles…………

M: bye yaaron chalta hoon ma wait kar rahi hai………… jaane se pehle ek baar

All bid him bye bye……….. and he heads for his home………in his mom's car ………..

(Mayu's dad and his uncle had bought a home together and a car too……. So they

Mayu comes home and calls Sam ………… they talk for sometimes and then disconnects…………..

Three days pass by with normal routine

Nups and Sam busy playing and Enjoying………..

And someone else packing too………….packing to come to Excel, Mumbai , packing to give someone a huge surprise……….. packing to meet some one after a long time…………….
