Morning at Shaan's house.....at the breakfast table.........
Shaan: Dad. Since my college is over....so......I was........ (He paused and exchanged a look with his dad)
Dad: yes. My son you can join from Monday..........
Shaan: thanks Dad........
Dad: thanks to you Shaan.........days passed and I never realized that you are a big boy now.....................years have passed since your mum left us.....but..........
Shaan: but you never let me feel her void..........you always took care of me.......
Dad: Shaan I m really proud of you my boy.......many boys in your age are not that responsible but you are and I'm blessed to have you........
Shaan: Dad please stop pampering me....................and ummmmm........
Dad: Shaan..............how was your farewell party.......after all…….this was your last day at college!!!!
Shaan: I didn't go.............
Dad: but why??.........
Shaan: Dad I don't like it.........
Dad: look my son.......you are young and energetic.......people in your age enjoy and party hard...but you always stay alone .......why!!!!
Shaan: Dad let's swap the topic......I m not comfortable............
Dad: oh I almost forgot I have a meeting to attend........so I better get going.... you enjoy today....from Monday on "welcome-to-hustle-bustle"
Shaan was quite and left for his room.............
------Shaan's room---------
He enters and starts sorting out his clothes...................and checks some documents.............
He is thinking of some old memories.............
---------Flashback.........--------
He is playing but suddenly he falls and bruises his knee.....but his mother lovingly dresses it up and..........kisses him............
He remembers his mum preparing all sorts of good dishes for him..........but he always did a lot of nakhras before eating them.................and naughtily teased his mum
He remembers her saying…….
Mum: Shaan..............you always irritate me with your naughty pranks and actions..........but when I won't be here you will miss me a lot........
--------Present.............-------
Teardrop falls from his eye......he's standing in the window pane looking at the distant children in the park...............
He speaks to himself
Mom why did you leave me.....please come back I miss you!!!
He picks up a frame on his desk with a picture of him in his mother's lap.............and presses it against his chest
He usually spent hours sitting near the window looking at the people on the other side happy with their loved ones.................
Though he loved his Dad a lot but he felt a big void in his life.............no one to pour his heart out to!!
He was lonely...........he had no friends...Or rather he never made one…...because he was scared of parting from his loved ones.........he was never this way but when he was 15 he lost his mum and he preferred remaining silent and alone from then......
He never ever let anyone know him, share his feelings or expressions.........he always engaged himself with books or anything else..............but never ever involved with other people except for his Dad.................
Later he composed himself and went to this desk............collected some things he wanted to keep on his new desk.....
Suddenly he heard knocking at his door...........servant brought him coffee.....
He took and sat on the couch........it was evening by now..............he was thinking of what his Dad said in the morning..............
