Gunjan to herself di ne najane aachanak phone kyun rak diya.....just then Gunjan's land line rings.....

Gunjan: Hello?

Dia: Hey Gunjan dear....kaisi ho?

Gunjan: DIA?! Main teek hoon....tum kaisi ho aur Uday Bhaiya aur bakhi sab? Kitne din hogaye, sab teek hai na, tumne aachanak phone kyun kiya?

Dia: Oh god you sisters are just the same!(laughs) Nupur ne bhi isse tarah react kiya tha! Hum sab teek hai...I called to tell ki maine aur Benji ne shaadi karne ka faisla kiya hai.......our engagement is after 2 weeks and shaadi after 2 months.......so please Gunjan you and Samrat should come, it would be cool if you guys come early....phir we can hang out like old times...maza ayega!

Gunjan: Congrats Dia...I'm really happy to hear this....par I don't think we can make it for 2 months, hum engagement aur shaadi ke liye zaroor ayegay but 2 months not possible as samrat is really busy(she says so in a really remorseful tone)

Dia: Please Gunjan, Samrat se poocho aur usse convince karo, actually Benji tried calling him but the mobile was continuesly engaged. Please Gunjan, this is a golden opportunity for us to come together. Pleaaaaaaaseee....

Gunjan: I don't want to dissappoint you, I will try but main sure se haan nahi keh sakti, will call you ok!

Dia: Ok dear, tc, bye!

Gunjan: Bye!

Just after Gunjan hangs up, she gets a call from none other than her jaan, Samrat!

Samrat: Woh maine yeh bolne ke liye phone kiya ki.......gunjan cuts him off...

Gunjan: Ki tum aaj dinner ki liye nahi aa paogay, kyuki you're very busy and will have out once your done with work aur main wait nahi karoon right?

Samrat: Wow, you know me so well chashmish.....

Gunjan: Issme jaane wali kya baat hai, you have been doing this for many months now......

Flashback(a few months after their marriage)

Gunjan has prepared samrat's fav dishes and is waiting for him.....

She impatiently watches the clock ticking away, 9, 9:30, 10, 10:15. Her patience doesn't support her any longer and she calls up samrat

Samrat: Hi chashmish, sorry main tumhe phone karna bhool gaya, I'm busy so you have your dinner jaan, I may come really late...

Gunjan: Par maine sab tayari ki hai Samrat, tum ek phone kar sakte te....(almost in tears)

Samrat: Maine sorry bol diya na chashmish, I was caught up with work and didn't see the time pass, anyway bye, baad me baat karte hai, I'm getting another call, tc.....Gunjan couldn't stop her tears.

flashback ends as Samrat interrupts her....

Samrat: Chashmish kya hua, why are you silent all of a sudden?

Gunjan: Nahi kuch nahi, Dia called

Samrat: Ya?!

Gunjan: Ussne aur Benji ne shaadi karne ka socha hai, she wants us to go there for 2 months....I told her ki it would not be possible as your busy

(heart of hearts there was a streak of hope that samrat may agree for a 2 month break)

Samrat: Hmmm.....you're very understanding chashmish.....you know what, we will go for 2 weeks, 1 week prior to engagement and 1 week before marriage....pls inform Dia ok, bye sweetheart....

Gunjan hangs up without saying bye hence leaving samrat wondering.....

Samrat to himself Kya hua chashmish ne bye tak nahi bola, kahi woh naraz to nahi hai na, main call karke poochta hoon.......when he is about to call her, his cell rings and he gets caught up with his deals, hence he forgets to call his 'chashmish'

Gunjan is unable to stop the stream of tears finding its way through her subtle skin....main kya soch rahi thi ki Samrat maan jayega, usse toh aaj kal kaam se hi fursath nahi milthe, maine socha ki 2 mahinay Mumbai me sab key saath time bithaugi toh mujhe aacha lagega, kitni bore hojathi hoon main yahaan, yahaan par sirf do theen dost hai.........lekin mujhe toh pata tha na ki samrat na bolega tho phir maine haan kyun expect kiya, pls gunjan just stop crying aur khana kake so ja. Tere kismat main jo likha hai wahi hoga.......

Gunjan wasn't aware about the exiting life awaiting her but I am, cause I'm the story writer.........
