"God I am in such a mess!" I sighed as i dumped the magazine highlighting title 'Sheena:RJ Ben Linked!?' in the bin.
I sat at the couch and switched off the news channel, just then my cell rang."I hope It's Benji"
I picked up my phone, but how wrong I was, for a moment I fell like dumping my cell just like the magazine.
"Hello" I almost growled.
"Hello maam" rosy my assistant's meek voice reached me.
"Wat Rosy?" i asked annoyed.
"there's a press conference tomorrow morning"
"You have told me that before" i muttered angry now.
"Yes maam, the producer of the film wishes to have a word with u before meeting the press"
"Fine arrange the meeting, in the next half an hour"
"Yes Maam"
Call Ended.
Benji must be enjoying , but why didn't he call?
I stared at the mobile screen as its light dimmed
Cmon benji call! How can u b this angry?
The black screen of the mobile seemed to have taken away my hopes, i groaned and rested my head on the couch.Benji's words seemed to echo in my ears

Benji I..I cant
I shook my head cursing my fate, why! why why!? why me? Everytime!
I smacked my head when a loud thud with extreme pain blurred my vision. 'oww' I groaned as I stared at the mobile in my hand.
"damn! Stupid phone" Rubbing my head I threw the phone out of sight on the couch next to me.
(eh ya she hit her head with the cell :P lol)

Gang At a Restaurant
"Pub Idea was stupid" Benji stifled his laugh as he entered the restaurant along with the gang.
"Hey we didn't know that they will be playing regional songs okay" dia muttered pouting.
Benji couldn't help but laugh, while nupur joined him.
"Cmon guys It's a fab pub, Its our bad luck actually" samrat spoke
Nupur stopped laughing and nodded her head.
"No probs, this restau is good enough, lets get seated"
The gang entered and found a quite large booth, enough for all of them to get seated.
"So Nupur howz life?" Benji asked after they had settled and ordered the food.
Samrat, Uday and Benji sat at the side facing the restaurant, CJ, Dia and Dev sat at the middle while Gunjan and Nupur sat opposite to the wall facing the guys.

Nupur smiled in response "Life Is good"
"And Shilpa Aunty?" Uday asked.
"She's fine now, though mayank and I have been trying to convince her to leave the job, but she's just not willing to live with us"
"Keep Trying Di" Gunjan smiled brushing her hand lightly on nupur's shoulder.
Nupur touched gunjan's hand and smiled.
"Its only for her better" Gunjan murmured softly.
"I know" Nupur sighed. She very well knew, the doctors words still seem to haunt her, scare the daylights out of her.
She has to stop working, complete bed rest with medicines on time, High Blood pressure, we think she might be suffering from CVD
Nupur shook her head coming back to the present
"what about you?" she directed her words at Benji
Benji gave a laugh that had no humour in it. The gang sighed, they were very well aware of the couples miserable conditions.
"You know Just propose to her" Dia spoke softly.
"I have" Benji replied in a mere whisper.
"wat?" All of them exclaimed shocked.
CJ broke out in speech "WTH dude, you didn't even tell us"
"omg and she said yes!" dia squeeled and nupur gushed "when r u getting married?"
Benji smiled sadly, with a courage he didnt seem to feel he met their eyes, they were so happy.
"she said No" benji looked away again, he knew he wouldn't like to see the disappointment in their eyes.
"she said no" Uday repeated thinking he had heard wrongly.
"Yeah" Benji murmured taking interest in his watch as he gazed at the second hand tick by.
The gang was shocked but most was CJ, her mind buzzing with old days and the conversation she had with sheena at the disco that night, when she felt that she had truly deeply bonded with sheena.

"you are right i mean any gal would dream of engagement, marriage, family, kids" CJ emphasized "but these two they are happy among themselves just the two"
"exactly if i find a right guy be it anyday...i would make sure its not only commitment but all these too" sheena smiled.
CJ laughed at tht "ya every gals dream"

"What exactly did she say?" CJ asked breaking the silence.
Benji heaved a sigh and spoke as if he had learned his answer word to word.
"Its about her movie, she has to fake a relation with her co-star, hang out with him, and title themselves as best friends only so that the world can speculate something brewing in between, but the news of me dating sheena somehow leaked out, now the media is everywhere around me, and I am left in a mute situation, I cannot accept it and neither can I deny" He ended as he met everyone's serious gaze.
"which is why she said no" nupur murmured.
Benji didn't reply to that.
All of them seemed to breath at once, benji shook his head bringing a smile to his face for their sake.
"chill Guys! Once the movie is done with we will think about our relationship"
Nupur nodded, "yeah, be patient Benji everything will be fine"
Benji nodded looking away.
"What about you samrat? When are you two getting married huh? Uday CJ wat abt u guys?" Nupur asked.
Samrat looked away not meeting her eyes, while gunjan simply ignored the question, CJ smiled at Uday
"There's no hurry to get married"
The gang was interrupted as Dev started crying.
"aww my baby, what happened?" Dia asked as she picked dev and settled him on her lap.
CJ's cell gave a message alert. She checked her cell and sighed as she got the same message the third time in the past one week.
I FOUND YOU
Some bloody prankster, she checked the number and was not surprised as she spotted a new one.
She pocketed her cell and smiled at Dev who was now playing with a spoon.
The food came and they helped themselves with some.
Nupur's cell rang, she smiled staring at the screen as she wiped her hand on the handkerchief "Guys Its mayank" she grinned as she answered the call.
"mayu" she squeeled greeting him smiling.
"tumne phone nahin kiya nupur!" he complained
"Sorry mayank bhool gayi" Nupur smiled as she put the call on loudspeaker, she stared around there weren't much people.
"sab kaise hain aur match ka kya hua?" mayank was asking.
"samrat aur uday match haar gaye" nupur faked disappointment.
"Ohh" mayank said.
"haan" samrat grinned "par dekho hum besharmon ki tarah party kar rahe hain" Everyone burst out laughing and so did mayank on the other end.
"That's great"
"Yeah,Tum kaise ho? Aur maa?" samrat asked.
"Sab theek hain, maa ki thodi tabiyat kharab lag rahi thi.. " mayank replied but nupur cut him off before he could finish
"-kya hua?"
"tension mat lo bas headache" mayank replied shortly.
"Jiju" gunjan spoke up "shilpa aunty se kahe ki woh job karne ki zid chhod de, aap aur di hain na sab sambhalne ke liye"
"haan gunjan, par maa ko manana bohut mushkil hai nyways tum log enjoy to kar rahe ho na?"
"haan woh to hum kar rahe hain" Uday replied "par tu yahaan hota to baat hi alag hoti"
"Kaam Bohut hain, yahaan pe isliye nahin aa paya-" mayank started in a somber tone
"-array chill work is more important, uday to bas yeh bol raha hai ki hum sab tumhe miss kar rahe hain " CJ replied smiling, glad to hear her best friend's voice after a long time.
"thnx CJ, Howz dev?"
"dev is fine, though he's a bit confused seeing so many new faces all of a sudden" Mayank laughed at Dia's reply. "Give him my love"
"Ofcoz" Dia smiled.
"Oke Bye"
"Bye" Nupur smiled ending the call.
Samrat smiled as he stared at Nupur who was drinking water
Perfect timing He thought and spoke his next words
"By the way nupur tum donon ne family ke bare main kya socha hai" Nupur spluttered the water she was drinking as samrat expected, she stared red-faced as the gang rolled in laughter.
After a while
"Gunjan Is your novel complete?" Benji asked as he chewed his food.
"Yeah almost going to end..Infact I needed a few details" Gunjan smiled playfully as Benji went red.
"Look at him, red as a tomato" Dia smiled.
Gunjan smirked and turned to Nupur "Di u as well" as expected nupur gazed at her agape.
Gunjan laughed.
"I swear Guys, Gunjan has been literally butchering me with her questions" Dia sipped her drink.
"Gunjan Privacy naam ki koi cheez hoti hai, main nahin bataongey" Nupur looked away.
"To main kahan sab sach likhne wali hoon..maine sab ke naam bhi badal diye.. kisi ko pata thodi na chalega" Gunjan nudged Nupur's arm which sent her set elbow off the table shaking her stern pretence.

Home 11:00 pm
Gunjan sighed as she passed through the passage to her room, deep in thought.
What's wrong with marriage? CJ n Uday don't want to get married, as if thts not important or probably the last thing on earth they wud do, even Dia and RV- after the biggest step of having a baby, they aren't married and now seems like Benji and Sheena have the same trouble, their life is just as much messed up as mine and samrat's.
The door to samrat's room opened as Gunjan stared too confused to react as Benji stepped out.
"Hey" he greeted Gunjan.
"Hey" she greeted back as she met samrat's gaze who was seated in his bed.

FLASHBACK (Lemme take u 4 months back)
Gunjan smiled as she made her way to her room, Dev had totally destroyed her clothes with pudding all over her.
The door to samrat's room was open as gunjan passed by, they met each other's gaze for a second, she pointed at her dress and mouthed 'Dev' samrat shook his head and smiled gunjan proceeded to her room.
She took her night dress from her cupboard to change and entered the attached cubicle in her room.
It was a small washroom which she used only to change at night.
She entered her room and was surprised to find samrat standing at the door his head resting on the door.
"Hey" she greeted.
"hi" samrat smiled a little nervously and entered the room.
"u here?" gunjan asked.
"ermm why.. cant i?"
"ofcoz u can, but at this time"
"Look chashmish" samrat breathed out as he held her hand "I have been thinking about wat u said"
Gunjan's heart made a jump, had he actually been thinking about it? Was he going to propose her?
"wen u said that we should probably move our relationship to the next phase"
Gunjan's heart was at full flight, she had given him too many hints in the past few days..to tell him what she wanted.
"I don't think so"
Gunjan's breath came shallow as disappointment etched her features.
"We cant you know...and we should get married first"
What the hell is he talking about? Gunjan wondered now totally confused.
"That's something we decided" he repeated again, he seemed to be rambling "so we cant until we marry,and thts next year, we promised nupur as well and"
And now gunjan understood as to what samrat had interpreted from her past actions.
"Ermm samrat, u misunderstood"
"Wat?" he asked leaving her hand very embaressed with the conversation he just had.
"I meant to say that I want to get married now..with you" she gulped as samrat stepped back, resting his hands on his waist.
"But we discussed about tht before" he replied shaking his head
"I knw we did, but its been 2 years and one more year that's..i cant wait that long" gunjan finally said it, spoke her heart out, that it was not easy to live this way.
"why?" samrat asked not understanding her at all "We have been like that 2 yrs now, its only one more year, then why-"
"-because" Gunjan cut him off as she shut her eyes, and opened them again " I need you" she spoke longingly, tired to stop herself she stepped towards him "I don't want to live like that, in another room away from u..Knowing that nothing can come between us, yet one tiny line stopping us from being one, u cant do this to me" she spoke almost pleading.
"Chashmish" samrat spoke in astonishment, he didn't know she was going through so much pain.
"I..I understand" he murmured as he stared at her helplessly, what was he to do?
"U don't!" she screeched pulling herself away from him "U don't get it samrat, I cant stay like that, Di is married, Dia and RV have had their baby, even CJ and Uday live together like a married couple, but this relationship is like tying me, I feel so alone!" Tears poured from her eyes as she let out her frustration.
"I cant touch you" she turned to the window in haste. "It pains to knw that you are mine, yet only as a friend" she whispered.
Samrat stood rooted in shock, he had not imagined even in his wildest dreams that Gunjan wanted him so badly.
Slowly he stepped towards her, they had promised nupur that they would not even touch each other before marriage, and since then they had stayed away from each other, it was only tiny pecks and hugs tht they shared. Yet their hearts always beated together as one.
"Chasmish" he spoke again.
"Will You marry me?" she asked again staring through the window.
"I..gunjan..I"
Samrat lost the courage to speak further as gunjan's shoulder sank.
"Leave right now" she spoke her voice muffled.
"Gunjan"
"I said leave my room..Right Now!" she almost yelled
Samrat sighed and stepped out closing the door, tears pouring from his eyes, as he heard her dry sobs.
FLASHBACK ENDS

"u okay?" Benji asked waving his hand infront of Gunjan.
"m fine" gunjan mumbled and proceeded ahead into her room.
Benji proceeded into the hall, and exited the place making himself comfy in the small lawn, he made a silent wish hoping sheena answers the call and dialed her number.

Sheena's POV
I was so very annoyed at the producer's talk that I wanted to lash out at him, but just that very second my cell rang, I hastened to check if it was Benji and god has been kind it was him.
"Excuse Me" I mumbled to him and headed out of the meeting room.
"Hey" he greeted and for a second all anger left me.
"Benji" I spoke relieved "I miss u" I murmured suddenly feeling too exhausted.
"miss u too jaan, sab theek to hai na?" he asked.
"haan, tum batao, sab kaise hain, kaun kaun hai wahaan pe? Aur match jeete ya nahin?"
"hey hey chill batata hoon"
I chuckled at my stupidity "just curious"
Benji laughed along "I know" he finally breathed "they lost the match but still we had dinner together n enjoyed the same"
"that's nice, who all r der?"
"Well all of them except mayank, RV ..n U"
"I knw..i wish" Tears stung my eyes as I felt so trapped.
"Its fine we both will come here again together after ur film is sorted out well n gud"
"yeah"
"Sheena is something wrong?" benji asked again.
"you must be angry-"
"-am not" he cut me off.
"u cant lie" I replied.
There was silence on the other end.
"I understand, Its coz of the film our life will be back t-- we will be back together soon" benji amended.
"This will be my last movie" I announced.
"wat!?" benji exclaimed
"yeah I don't want this..yeah thts right m ending my career"
"sheena think please, don't talk rubbish..this is wat u had always wanted"
"no all I wanted is you.."
"sheena u r so stressed, thts why al these thoughts are getting to you, just relax and be calm..we will always be together okay love?"
"yeah" I tried to smile.
"and ur career is important as well, don't u dare think about ending it" this time a smile really crept up my face benji spoke in a tone as if talking to a small child.
"I wont, benji give my luv to all n dev"
"Ofcoz Bye luv u"
"luv u too" I smiled and ended the call.

Gunjan entered her room, to find nupur seated on the bed checking her cell.
"Di" gunjan smiled as she sat next to her.
"Haan" nupur spoke a little uninterested.
"messaging jiju?" I asked.
Nupur smiled, She clicked the send button and placed her cell aside.
"I was..so tell me abt u and samrat"
"what abt us?" gunjan asked taken aback at her question.
"well Is he going to propose u or should I talk to him about it"
"no, we decided that we will marry next year"
"next year" nupur narrowed her eyes, her lips a thin line.
"ya" gunjan mumbled
"ya its always been next year, last year also u said next year..am I going to get the same reply next year?"
Though nupur sounded funny gunjan couldn't ignore the sinking feeling in her stomach.
"I don't know//he says not now"
"why?" nupur asked.
"Because I don't know he just says that its too early to get married"
"for god sake gunjan u both are 26!" nupur exclaimed aghast "wat are you guys..humans?"
"wat?" gunjan asked confused.
"I assume u kept ur promise?" nupur eyed her.
"yes" gunjan murmured.
"and he doesn't want to marry u after that as well?"
"di" gunjan spoke getting very embaressed with the conversation.
"wat? Gunjan face it, you have to talk to him about this!!"
"I will okay!" gunjan jumped from the bed , she picked her night dress and entered the cubicle without saying another word.

At 3:30 am
She jerked up from her sleep as her cell rang.

The ringtone was like the silence before the deadly storm, an indication of worst coming ahead.

yeah i left u at a cliffhanger:P
okay so
u all knw my style of writing wen it comes to pact, same for sequel...they wont get equal space wen it comes to chap wise distribution...bcoz things will happen with focus shifting from one to another as the plot goes on n we proceed into the story.

Many points are there, if u just rack ur brains a lil u might catch me with the plot...may actually guess it...!
