"Are you happy!?" Sheena shrieked on the phone gazing nervously at Benji who stood feets away from her, his jaw locked, body tensed.

"He left me, that's wat u wanted!so Congrates your stinking plan worked!" Sheena shrieked again, a cackle of laughter burst through the loudspeaker, sheena breathed a sigh of relief while benji stared aghast.

Sumi's voice ringed throughout the room, as she continued.

"I knew he never loved you, It was just you, see now? He Loved me all along, he cares so much for me tht he left you, he just never realized but I did. I knew it was a matter of time, now u would know how it feels, trust me it was even worst when he left me, but time got better of me. My love is coming back to me!"

"You are Wrong" Sheena looked up to find Benji standing right behind her. His gaze was fixed on the phone, his lips sealed tight forming a hard line.

There was dead silence on the other end of the phone, not waiting for a reply he ended the call, sheena gazed at benji lovingly. She knew he was hurt.

"Ben?" she smiled as he stole glances from her, his shoulders slumped as he met her gaze.

"m sorry" he muttered.

Sheena smiled once again, he looked adorable.

"u don't have to be" she beamed and hugged him tight. Surprised she leaned back as benji hadn't returned her hug. "you okay?" she asked.

"I was so wrong…abt sumi, abt u, everything" Benji shook his head "i don't deserve u"

"benji" sheena interrupted "dare u say that!" she glared at him "I was so afraid, I thought I was gonna lose u" Benji sighed as he shook his head once again and turned away from her.

Sheena couldn't make sense of what had gotten into him, acting on her instincts she hugged him from the back. "Benji?"

"yeah?" he asked now leaning on her hold, his tensed body relaxed as he turned and held her tiny waist, while she placed her arms around his shoulders.

She bumped her head with his, smiling as his breath fell on her face.

"There's something I wanted to ask you" she muttered softly.

He arched an eyebrow in response waiting for her to continue.

"Since the day all the trouble started, I felt I was going to lose you, it was a terrible thought, my worst nightmare, life has never been good to me, I have always had to struggle to get what I wanted, I didn't want it to be the same now, you are the one who has always been with me, I never had to seek you, because…don't laugh okay?" she broke midway asking for a promise.

"I wont" he promised, with a shy smile she continued "because you are my angel, my guardian angel…God had sent u to me, but this month….I have been thinking, when someone tried to steal my angel, it triggered then, I cant live without you" Benji smiled slightly as he held her firmly "neither can I" he whispered back.

"which is why I wanted to ask you"

"Oh yes" benji smiled remembering what had got this on, she wanted to ask her something "what is it? Just ask, your guardian angel is here to fulfill that"

She giggled in response and made patterns with her finger on his shoulder

"Be careful, coz I am asking for a life imprisonment"

Benji frowned as her smile grew wider, her heartbeat accelerated beating million times faster, a tinge of pink flooded her cheeks as she looked down and then back at him, slowly his frown turned into a smile as he realized what she was heading at, he chuckled as her heart skipped a few beats "….Will you marry me?" she whispered her breathing stopped and then accelerated as she stared back at him, waiting for a response, she didn't had to wait long as he leaned forward and sealed his reply with a short kiss

"Is that even a question? I have been waiting all my life" he smiled "but that aside, what about your contract, the "no marriage" clause?"

"Matters solved, no need to worry" sheena grinned.

"no really" benji frowned "I can wait for u"

"U don't need to ben, this is wat I want! What I have always wanted" She rested her head on his shoulder, his scent overwhelmed her heart as she closed her eyes. He was All she had wanted, there couldn't be, no, there wasn't anything else more important to her.

Next Day

Morning 8:00

The Hall of Shergill mansion gleamed as bright sunrays fell on the shiny marble floor and reflected back to the room illuminating it.

Dia stepped out of her room and stretched as she made her way to the kitchen the smell of freshly made coffee greeted her, smiling she made her way to the dining table where breakfast was being set ready by Samrat and Nupur for a very tired-looking gunjan.

"Good Morning Dia" Nupur chimed as she poured a cup of coffee for Gunjan.

"Good Morning" dia smiled in response taking a seat "how are u gunjan?"

"annoyed like hell" gunjan frowned at her cup of coffee. Dia chuckled in response.

"well u shouldn't be"Nupur smiled "samrat and I can make breakfast for everyone, and u really need to rest" Gunjan nodded like a small child and as she sipped her coffee.

"Where's Mayank?" Dia asked helping herself with some Sandwiches.

"He's gone to freshen up, Dev n RV r still sleeping?" Nupur asked taking a seat opposite to Dia.

"Yup, did sam tell you–"

Nupur nodded in response before she could complete her sentence.

"He did, m really happy for you" Nupur grinned.

"I know am really happy, Gunjan you are really lucky to have him, am just so thankful to sam-"

"Dare u repeat urself!" Samrat's jolly voice interrupted them.

"Here maam ur cheese omelette" he offered to Gunjan as he removed his apron and settled next to her.

"smells good" Gunjan beamed tucking in. All 3 of them grinned.

"so Candy wat where you-"

"I wont…ever again" Dia smiled.

"Good" sam nodded and then chuckled slightly.

Soon Mayank and RV joined them for breakfast. Dia's cell gave a message alert interrupting all of them, "Benji!" she grinned as she checked the message, frowning she looked up to meet the curious gazes of everyone at the table.

"Switch to TV news" she repeated confused.

Nupur jumped from her seat and hurried to the TV set, all of them jumped breaking into action as the words sinked in, was it something bad? Hoping it was good news that awaited them they settled down infront of the TV.

Mayank switched to the news channel and all of them expressed their shock and surprise as the headlines flashed proclaiming Benji and Sheena's relationship and their engagement plans.

The girls squeeled and gushed in glee, while samrat called Benji to know further details. Mayank was calling Uday to invite them over and share the news.

Nupur grinned as she ended the call with the catering service dude, they were all preparing for a grand party, Benji and Sheena would be there by evening; although the party was a surprise for them, it also involved samrat's plan of 'finally' proposing to Gunjan. There were many reasons for them to celebrate, RV-Dia's union, Mayank and Nupur's future plan for a baby, Benji and Sheena's Engagement announcement, Samrat finally getting some sense and willing to be bonded for Life with Gunjan, Everything was good.

"Nupur Its all settled" Samrat grinned as he hi-fied her.

"Gr8! Am dying to know what you have planned!" Nupur beamed.

"Well wait till tonight, that's all" samrat grinned, he wasn't telling anyone about his preparations, It was time for a Huge surprise not only for Gunjan but others too, Nupur would have been clueless about the proposing plan as well if she hadn't heard him talk about the ring, but luckily that's all she had heard about as the next moment she had literally shrieked and pulled him into a rib-crushing hug.

His cell rang bringing him back from his thoughts, he excused himself from nupur and answered the call, it was from uday.

"Hey UD" he greeted.

"sam did u hear the news?" uday asked on the other end of the phone.

"Ofcoz, we are the one's who told u about it-"

"m not talking about benji and Sheena" uday murmured urgently.

"wat news then?" samrat asked confused at the sad note on uday's voice.

"Purab" Uday whispered, Samrat's eyes hardened as he waited for uday to continue. "what about him?" he managed to muster.

"He's Dead" Shock broke his hard mask.

"What?"

"Yeah Its in the newspaper, guess u didn't read it coz of the good news today"

"ya I didn't, but how did this happen?"

"check the paper dude, even am surprised, he was found dead"

"Crap! Hang on I will call u back"

Ending the call samrat fumbled his way into the hall and picked the newspaper, he looked around to check if there was anyone around, glad to find the hall empty he headed out to the garden area.

He didn't have to search much as the second page displayed purab's picture along with a short message.

Purab Kohli Age 25 was found dead in his car, Police suspects it to be a case of drug overdose.

The body is currently undergoing an autopsy. Any relative or friend is requested to contact in the nearby police station.

'what the hell did this mean?' Samrat wondered as he made his way to trash the paper, such news wont do any good to them. It was better for it to be left unsaid.

He cringed as he recalled the old days when purab and him had been friends and then at the pub when they had a fight, purab's grave mistake, and now when he had come back to torture gunjan, never had he thought of the reason behind the change of his 'friend' now turned enemy. His sudden death was surprising but the reason- Drug overdose, so he was doing drugs too? How much bad had he gotten. Somehow he, samrat had made himself believe that purab had been having a rough time, that he was drunk not in his right sense, that he would never do such a thing to gunjan- but he was wrong afterall, Purab really had sunk into the dark world, He truly was Evil; the Bad Guy.

Unknowingy his heart ached, not for the Purab he had met at the pub, but for the purab who had been his college buddy, the one who had been his good friend.

Now hearing the news of his death, he found himself wondering had he, samrat been a good friend? could he have stopped his friend from getting into the world of darkness? Could he Have helped him Not become the Bad Guy, Stopped him from becoming the guy who he had met at the pub 2 years back. He let the thought of Purab leave his mind. He didn't care, it didn't bother him. Good Things awaited him..them, A Huge surprise he had planned needed to be set into action, it was time for dreams to be turned into reality. He already had a lot in mind to deal with, death of a 'stranger', certainly wasn't one of them.

The sound of squeeling tyres broke his chain of thoughts, a door slammed and a moment later Uday entered the main gate and spotted him at the garden area.

"Sam!" uday sighed as he half-ran to him.

"Hey" his voice came in a whisper surprised he cleared his throat.

"So u saw?" Uday asked gazing at him up and down.

"yeah" sam murmured as he folded the paper.

"what do you think?" uday asked sitting next to him.

"about what exactly?"

"It says any relative or friend is requested to contact-"

"The Purab I knew died long back Uday, this Purab was neither my friend nor relative, he was ..a stranger"

"I thought maybe for old times sake you would-"

"No Never, After what he did, he got what he deserved, he chose the wrong path, he had to pay for It"

"Right, That's what I had been thinking, but wasn't sure about u so…"

"Yeah I get what you mean"

"Okie so we don't tell anyone about this right? Specially gunjan?" Uday asked gazing at the door.

"Yeah, Its time to celebrate, such things shouldn't bother us"

"ya, well I will just meet CJ, dunno why she's not answering any calls" Uday spoke getting up.

"cj? She's not here"

"not here?" uday asked frowning.

"Nope, was she supposed to be?"

"yeah she told me she would leave from office early and join you guys, well I will check on her"

"but u just said she's not answering your call" samrat repeated worried.

"there are other ways too sam" Uday's tone had let out that there was something he didn't know.

"am I missin out on something UD?" Samrat asked now getting up too.

"Nothing as such" Uday murmured as he picked his cell and turned so that his back faced sam.

"U lying to me?" sam cocked an eyebrow as he placed his hand on uday's shoulder.

"Well" Uday turned stealing glances "I didn't want to tell you guys and all but i have got the police involved, about the stalker and.."

"UD! What the hell" Sam yelled "why on earth would you-"

"Look Chill, Its just that I have been worried for her-"

"do you have any idea what cj would do if she came-"

"She wont, and u wont tell her sam!" Uday warned.

"fine I wont" he agreed reluctantly.

"Cmon! out of all the people u gotta understand, I Love her dude, I cant let anything happen to her, and this stalker is creepy! Think about it, If it were gunjan getting those calls"

Sam shuddered at the thought "I do understand, but the stalker was Purab and now he's.."

"dead I know, but think sam, Purab wanted to torture Gunjan, why on earth would he be sending messages on CJ's mobile?"

"Just to play with our minds, there's nothing more to this the stalker was Purab and he is dead" Uday shrugged in response "whatever it maybe m not going to take any chances"

Sam sighed in defeat "I guess I know how you feel, and you are right I would have done the same if it were gunjan"

"am glad u understand" uday smiled back.

Sam waited for uday to get off the call.

"She's still in office" uday smiled at him ending the call.

"and how do u know this?" samrat asked quite amused; together the duo headed in.

"the cops are keeping tabs on her" uday winked.

"dude if she comes to know-" Samrat shook his head his eyes glinting with mischief.

"I know" uday chuckled "but anything for her"
