awesome part. man this was the best part till now. i jus loved the way armaan tries to guess why everyone is behaving like that to them and it was damn hilarious yaar😆 keep it up ashu.

yaar even i guessed it but i din't wanna ruin it.

who knew my vini di was such a spoilt sport.

i kinda guessed something of this sort will happen and next all their marriages were probably arranged with each other.

right na?

but i must say the base was awesome and now they shud not be can artist don't u think.

update fast warna i might explose of this suspensed pressure i wanna see how they'll react.

Part 16

We didn't know what to do. We stood like a statue.

"Ananya..." Billy was saying and trying to free her, "zaruri nahi hai ki ye hamare bachche hi ho. Haan Armaan ke haath par waisa hi birthmark hai jaise hamare Armaan ke haath par tha, par ye Bhagwaan ka chamatkar bhi to ho sakta hai na?"

"Achcha?" She left us and stood in front of her husband, "To inka 14 July ke din paida hona bhi ek chamatkar hi hai? Ye apne mata-pita ko nahi jaante, ye bhi chamatkar hi hai?"

She turned towards us and asked in a gentle way,

"Beta, tumne apne ma-baap ko dekh hai? Bolo Anjali? "

"N..nahi"

"Dekha Billy? Beta,Armaan sabse bada hai na? Aur tum sabse choti? Armaan Rahul se 5 min bada aur Rahul tumse 3 min?"

Anjie nodded.

"Beta, tumne kaha tumne apne ma-baap ko nahi dekha, to tumhara bachpan kaise beeta?" Billy asked.

This was the bombshell. How could we answer that?

None of us answered for a long time. Finally,

"Hum nahi jaante ki wo kaun the, unka naam kya tha, kuch nahi. Unhone humein bada kiya." Rahul said.

"Hamare jaise aur bhi kai bachche the." Anjie continued. I was scared they might tell everything.

"Oh orphanage." Billy whispered.

"Nahi. Wo orphanage nahi tha." Rahul breathed.

"Tum unhe kaise mile? Unhone kabhi bataya nahi?" Ananya asked.

"Humne kabhi aise sawal nahi pooche. Aur unhone bhi humein kabhi nahi bataya." Anjie answered.

I could tell that they had now understood about my gut feeling. This was bad. Or this was what we thought.

"Main batati hun. Tum mere bachche ho. Humne hi tumhe tumhare naam diye. Achcha hai unhone nahi badla. Tum sab ek hi umar ke ho. Bas mahino ka fark hai. Ye us waqt ki baat hai jab tum 5 saal ke the...."

Flashback

Everyone was going to some picnic. The kids were all very happy. They had reached some garden and the kids went off to play.

Ananya: Aaram se bachchon. Zyada door mat jao. Yahin khelo.

Ar: Ji mom.

The kids were happily playing with a ball and the elders were sitting and enjoying the scenery when,

Ri: Masshi, masshi. Wo Almaan, Anjali aul Lahul dool bhag gaye.

Billy: Kahan? Kahan gaye?

She pointed to a corner which was qiute a secluded one and it was dark in there too.

Ananya: Billy, jaakar dekhiye na.

All the men went that way while the women asked how that happened.

Mus: Masshi wo hamala ball dool gaya to Almaan lene chala gaya. Ushke peeche Lahul gaya phir Anjali gayi. Unhone humein aane se mana kal diya. Hum log luke, phil wo nahi aaye to humne aapko bataya.

Little Muskaan was close to tears.

Ananya started panicking. The men were taking a long time. When she herself decided to go and check, they saw them coming out sans kids. They were in a dejected mood.

Ananya went rushing to them.

Ananya: Billy! Billy! Billy, kya hua? Armaan, Anjali aur Rahul kahan hain?

Billy wasn't saying anything.

Ananya: Boliye na! Mere bachche kahan hain?

Mr.Joshi said, "Bhabhi, humein bachche nahi mile."

Mrs.Joshi, "Nahi mile matlab? Riddhima ne bataya ke wo wahin gaye hain. Aapne theek se nahi dekha hoga."

Mr.Malhotra, "Nahi bhabhi, humne poora garden dekh liya. Security officers se bhi poocha. Unhone bhi bachchon ko kahin nahi dekha."

Ananya: Mere bachche!

She dropped on the ground weeping. The ladies tried to console her though they themselves knew it was a futile attempt. It hurts a lot when your child goes missing. Here, their whole world, their three kids had gone missing. Seeing Ananya weeping the kids too couldn't hold themselves any longer. They too burst out crying. The men did not know what to do. They too were helpless.

Mr.Gupta said, "Hum missing report likha dete hain. Newspapers mein unki photo chaap dete hain aur inaam bhi announce kar dete hain. Agar koi bachchon ko dekh lega to humein zaroor contact karega."

They agreed. As decided, a missing report was filed, ads were published, a reward too was announced.

All in vain. They never saw their children again.

Flashback ends.

Ananya: Aaj mujhe mere bachche wapas mil gaye.

Ra: Par aap itne yakeen se kaise keh sakti hain ki hum hi aapke bachche hain? Hume to aisa kuch yaad nahi hai. Armaan, Anjali aur main to wahin mile the. Mujhe kuch yaad nahi.

He took his head in his hands. Muskaan came near him and tried to soothe him.

An: Mujhe nahi yaad ki Armaan, Rahul aur main bhai-behen hain. Hum teeno kitne alag hain.

She too was lost in her thoughts. Atul came and rubbed her back.

I hadn't spoken till now. I was too shocked to respond to anything.

Was this true? Were we really Mallik heirs? Then why did we have to do the petty job of conning people in order to ensure that we had a secure meal the next day?

Was this the bond that held Rahul, Anjie and me together? Siblings bond?

Bond of blood?

See what happens next. I would just like to say that if you have younger siblings or if you are a parent yourself take utmost care of your children. If you go out somewhere please keep them within your watching distance otherwise it may lead to drastic consequences.

This is just one example of it. This atleast is a softer version. What is being done to kids nowadays is more heart wrenching to imagine.

Please don't fret that your parents don't give you freedom to go out and venture all alone. They care for you and that's why they do so.

Hope my little, er I don't know what to say,gyaan has helped you. I know parents say that all the time but I hope you must have understood what may happen if you don't pay heed to them.
