Coz I seriously don't think of the next part till I'm in front of the comp. When I write something, even essays, my mind runs in 100 different directions to get ideas. Then whatever comes in my brain I type it. I know not actually some writer style this is, but this is how I do.😆

Part 10

It was all good until a month when,

"ARMAAN! HOW DARE YOU?" Riddhima screamed.

She had seen Armaan going through some files and make notes. When she had asked why he was doing it, he answered that he was just making the statistics.

But Riddhima was not someone to be fooled. She actually raided his home and found some other xerox copies from the companies files.

She had immediately guessed his intentions and shocked beyond limits!

The whole office had gathered and was witnessing Riddhima Gupta's wrath. Even Muskaan,Atul,Rahul and Anjali had gathered.

They were shaking their heads in disappointment.

Armaan never made mistakes, and here he was! Making the greatest mistake of con career.

For a moment even Rahul and Anjali were under suspicion since they three were supposedly triplets.

But Muskaan and Atul had dismissed that saying they had never seen them doing anything as such.

Armaan was sure this was the end of it. Conning Riddhima Gupta was not a piece of cake.

TRING!!!!!!!!!!!

Armaan woke up with a jerk. This was a dream? No it was...

Worse than a NIGHTMARE!!!

It was true that conning Riddhima Gupta was not a piece of a cake, but this was the challenge he had accepted. And he was going to win it.

He seemed even more determined that he wasn't going to make any mistake and would also see that Rahul and Anjie make no mistakes either.

The story of being triplets had made it all the more complicated. Thanks to Anjie!

It was Sunday today and he had lots of time to work on the plan. He looked at the clock.

6:14 am.

He decided to go for basketball practice. It had been a long time since he played basketball.

He looked around the house. Everything was quiet. Anjie was doing yoga and Rahul? Probably in the gym.

He jogged towards the basketball court. He was having a nice time when....

Someone came and saw him. The person was pretty impressed by Armaan's game.

Armaan saw the person looking at him with an impressed smile.

"Nice game!"

"Thank you."

"I come here everyday. I have never seen you here before."

"Yeah. Its been a month since I had time to come here."

"You play alone?"

"Nah! I teach kids. Its Sunday today so maybe they are lazing at home today."

"Hi! I'm Nikita Malhotra." She stretched her hand forward. [you expected Riddhima? Awww sorry!] 😆

"Hi! Armaan Mallik." He shook hands with her.

"So a game?"

"You sure?"

"Don't underestimate me. Maybe I can play better than you." She said with a grin.

"We'll see."

The match started. And both were impressed by each other.

The match ended with Armaan winning by 2 baskets.

"Congratulations! You play really well."

"Thanks. You too. I hadn't expected it."

"Its almost 8 now. See you tomorrow."

"Same here."

"Where were you all this time?" Anjie asked.

She was applying butter to her and Rahul's bread. While Rahul seemed engrossed in the newspaper. I joined them at the table.

"Basketball court. Had a game with someone."

"Another kid?"

"Nah! Some Nikita Malhotra. Played good,but lost by 2 baskets."

"So what have you thought?" Anjie asked.

"About what?"

"Next move of course." She rolled her eyes.

"Oh yeah," I said sheepishly "did you find out where they keep the papers?"

"The papers for sure aren't in the office." Rahul said.

"Yeah." Anjie agreed. "Last week I had a whole day to check the office since Atul wasn't there. But I couldn't get anything except family pics."

"He keeps family pics in the office instead of files?" I asked.

Anjie grinned.

"Same goes for Muskaan. But she also keeps few DVDs, SRK fan." Rahul said dramatically.

"What about you Armaan?" Anjie asked.

"Riddhima Gupta never leaves her office empty. If she isn't there, then Lucy for sure stands guard."

"But you are the P.A right?" Rahul raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah, but if she leaves the office she asks me to accompany her." I sighed.

"Poor you." Anjie pitied.

"But then this means that the papers are in Riddhima's office." Rahul muttered.

"Maybe not." They turned towards me.

"What if the papers are at their home?"

"Then forget the mission." Anjie said.

"No ways! If the papers are at their home, we have to enter their home....anyhow."

"Theres a party at home tomorrow. You must come Armaan." Riddhima said, a few days later.

"Ma'am, me? Why should I come?" I couldn't beleive it. She was ready to drop the axe on her own foot.

"Actually its one of our cousins birthday. So, since you....umm...you are my P.A and you have helped me, I want you to come to the party."

"Ma'ma, its my job to help you. ANd I don't even know your cousin...."

"Arre, then know me." A chirpy voice said.

I turned to see and was shocked....Nikita Malhotra! She was Riddhima's cousin? Another family staying with them?

"Hey Armaan! Good to see you...again." She smiled.

"Umm hi Niki..I mean ma'am"

"Noooooo, please don't call me 'ma'am'. Call me Nikki."

"You guys know each other?" Riddhima asked.

"Yeah. We met a few days ago at the basketball court. He plays very well."

"Good. At least now you know her Armaan. You don't have any excuse left." Riddhima said triumphantly.

There was something in her eyes...a different spark.

"But Ridz..."

Oh so Riddhima Gupta is called Ridz.

Nikki continued," then what about aunty?"

"She herself wanted us to celebrate your birthday. She told me." Riddhima raised her arms to prove that she was innocent.

"Oh...ok."

"So done. Tomorrow 7 pm. You are coming Armaan." This time she didn't ask. She commanded.
