Chapter 7
Suhani popped her head in through the door 'thank god' she thought as she stepped in the hall.
'chal suhani apne aap ko srk ki fan prove karne ka time aa gaya hai' suhani smiled and pinched her nose hard, soon tears stung her eyes.
Suhani sighed and shut the door making a little noise to hint nupur about her presence, as she expected nupur came downstairs.
"Hey Su, you are home early?"
"yeah" suhani murmured her gaze fixed at the floor.
"wat happened?" nupur asked concerned.
Suhani looked up and Nupur was surprised seeing big tears settled in her eyes.
"why are u cying?" nupur hurried towards her.
Suhani turned trying to hide her smile, she sniffed to add effects.
"su" to her surprise nupur hugged her from the back. "I didn't get the job?" she asked.
Suhani smiled shamelessly and nodded her head slowly.
"that's not a problem" nupur murmured "I'll try some other place, look here" Before suhani could adjust her expressions nupur turned her. "why are you smiling?" she asked confused.
Suhani pulled her cheeks grinning.
"Because u got the job"" she exclaimed in excitement
"I got the job?" nupur screamed not able to believe wat she was hearing.
"yes yes u got the job!!!" suhani held nupur's hand and together the two started jumping.
"Oh my god! OMG I cant believe it, I got the job and" nupur stopped and smacked su's arm playfully "tht was not funny! By god!"
Suhani laughed "yaar maze le rahi thi tere..cmon now hug me!" suhani pouted holding her arms aloft.
Nupur smiled as the two hugged.
"Time to party!" suhani gushed.
"ofcoz yaar, bas gun aur dia jaldi se ghar aa jaaye"
"woh donon abhi tak nahin aye?"suhani questioned breaking the hug.
"haan tu jaldi ghar aaye hai su" nupur rolled her eyes.
"array haan"
"tum jao fresh ho jao main hum donon ke liye coffee lati hoon"
"Okay" suhani smiled as she headed off to her room.
EXCEL
"Okay guys, raat ko milte hain" dia was saying "chale gunjan?" she asked.
"haan" gunjan smiled as she picked her books.
"itni saari books?" Benji asked shocked.
"I knw gun, tum kab padogey?"
"aaj" gunjan replied simply.
"tum party main nahin aa rahi?" samrat sighed as he met her gaze.
"nahin" she replied.
Samrat turned to uday and started chatting with him, gunjan felt sudden guilt, "sorry" she murmured.
All of them turned to her.
Samrat simply nodded and turned back to uday while dia held her hand
"Gunjan pls, padai to baad main bhi kar sakti ho, aur aaj to first day hai na..abhi se"
"dia, tum to jaanti ho" gunjan whispered softly but the gang was eavesdropping as always.
"main di ki help karna chahti hoon, unhen mujhse bohut expectations hain, aur party mujh jaise logon ke liye nahin hoti"
"yeah right" dia rolled her eyes "aisa kisne kaha?" she asked.
"maine kaha, ab ghar chale?"
"chalo" dia sighed giving up.
The two stepped out just when samrat called.
"Chashmish!"
Dia turned "chashmish?" she wondered.
"chashmish!" samrat called again
"gun he's addressing u" dia whispered.
"me?" gunjan wondered and turned.
"chashmish" samrat stepped infront of her and peered in her eyes.
"chashmish?" gunjan questioned.
"haan chashmish" samrat smiled innocently and touched her spects pushing them back a little.
"achha kya hua?" she asked.
"tum apni di ki help karna chahti ho right?" he asked.
"haan"
"well job karogey?" he asked.
"kya?" gunjan asked surprised.
"haan part time job, hum sab karte hain" he replied.
"oh right sammy" dia gushed "gun bohut maza aayega, maine pehle kyun nahin socha"
"kya job hai?" gunjan asked nervous.
"candy ise bata dena" samrat smirked.
"Ofcoz" dia grinned.
"Okay, then see you two at party tonight" samrat winked leaving gunjan in silence.
"Chalo gun, omg m so excited"
"par job kya hai?"
"baad main bataongey"
"Okay" gunjan murmured as her heart fluttered.
Together they headed out and sat in the car.
At Home
"God he's so hot!" Suhani gushed.
"I know by god boss ho to aisa!" nupur squeeled.
"u r so right!"
"he luks so gud in suits"
"thts his style" nupur agreed
"array nahin, isne sweaters pehni thi yaar kuch episodes main "(lol wat did u think..they r talking abt mayu:P lol)
"array haan" nupur spoke.
"waise apne sadu is ke jaisa hi hai" suhani grinned.
"kahan yaar sadu to...ek minute tune sadu ko iske jaisa kaha..matlab tujhe tera boss hot lagta hai!!??" nupur gaped.
"nahin" suhani said flustered "mera matlab woh nahin tha" she fumbled.
"array ghalat kya hai? waise mujhey theek thak laga" nupur replied.
"achha jhoothi….tune usse sahi se dekha nahin" suhani replied.
"maine nahin dekha? Nupur bhushan ne?" nupur spoke in a pure melodramatic way.
"haan achha bata tune kya usse tie loose karte hue..aur shirt ke button tuck karte hue dekha?"
Nupur placed her chin on her palm and stared dreamily at suhani "nahin"
Suhani continued in her own imaginative world "kya tune usse smile karte hue dekha hai?"
"nahin" nupur murmured again smiling at suhani, the girl was crushing on her boss awww.
"kya tune uski aankhen dekhi? Deep dark brown" suhani continued.
"nahin" nupur stifled a laugh this time.
"par" suhani came back from her dreamland "woh ek number ka sadu, akdu, perfectionist, khadoos aur thoda kanjoos aur-" nupur gaped "array array" she interrupted "su itni tareef karne ke baad ek dum se doosre track pe kahan chali gaye"
"aur nahin to kya" suhani spoke "achhi qualities hain, par buri zyaada hain" she pouted.
"accha aur tu us pe fida hai"
"eeeee no ways!" suhani spoke making a face.
"achha aisa kyun?" nupur asked curious.
"mujhey aise angry-young-man professional aur u knw sadu types ke ladke nahin pasand…woh to kabhi kabhi uska style deewana bana deta hai yaar!"
"achha to tujhe kaise pasand hain?" nupur asked.
"yeh tu pooch rahi hai" suhani exclaimed in surprise, nupur was about to speak but suhani cut her off "ab puchha hai to sun, srk jaise romantic, adorable, sweet, charming, aur hamesha cute si smile ke saath aankhon main sirf pyar rakhne wala" suhani spread her arms aloft imagining her mister perfect.
"mushkil hai" nupur spoke.
"kyun?" suhani pouted placing her hands down
"srk jaisa kahan milega?"
"koi to hoga! Yaar god, pls mujhey mere mr perfect se mila do!"
Just then the sound of a car parking reached them
"le sunli teri baat…aa gaya" nupur spoke bursting in a fit of giggles as suhani joined her.
Finally the two stopped
"gun aur dia hongey chalo unhen bhi good news suna de" Nupur switched off the tv and headed into the hall. Dia and Gunjan entered through the main door.
"Gun! Dia! I got the job!" Nupur squeeled rushing towards them as suhani followed behind.
"That's gr8 congrates hun!" Dia hugged nupur
"congrates di" gunjan hugged her as well.
"Guys time to party" suhani called.
"But" dia started
"No buts….we will enjoy tonight"
"but su we have a fresher's party" dia sighed so wanting to attend both.
"Ohh thts bad u will miss the treat then" suhani smiled.
"Even gunjan" dia spoke shocking gunjan.
"No I said I wont be going, I will be with di" gunjan replied.
Nupur met suhani's eyes and turned to gunjan
"gunjan let her free"
"No! If dia wont be there, then no party, Gunjan u go with dia, we will party tomorrow" nupur 'ordered'
"but di I am not going to the party" gunjan emphasized.
"Oh Didn't u hear me?" nupur asked narrowing her eyes "you are 'going'"
"Aghh di don't do this to me!!" gunjan pleaded like a small kid.
"nahin ab to tumhe party main chalna hi hoga, omg m so excited" dia squeeled.
"Chalo gun, hum apne apne dresses dekhte hain" dia pulled gunjan by the arm.
"but..but"
"no buts or I will kick ur butt now" dia grinned pulling gunjan along while gunjan simply gaped at her.
"Chalo in donon ka to hogaya ab hum kya Karen?" suhani asked.
"Hum?" nupur murmured deep in thought "chal aaj ddlj dekhte hain with popcorns n drinks"
"okay raat ko..tab tak hum"
"tab tak kya?" nupur questioned
"lets bake a cake!" suhani exclaimed.
"Okay Fab!" Nupur agreed. "tujhe aata hai?"
"nahin…cooking book hai na"
"Okay" nupur smiled as the two headed off to the kitchen.
