Breathing a sigh of relief, Anjali Joshi walked out of the delivery room, instructing the nurse on which medicines to give the newborn girl.

Her phone rang, and as she said 'Hello?', she was greeted with a shriek.

"Diiiiiiiiiiiiiiii! How are you? How is jeej? How is Arun? How are Muskaan and Ma and Papa and Riddhu and Raj and Yuvi and…….."

"Niki, chill……I am fine, your jeeju is fine, Arun is fine, Muski, Riddhu and Ma-Papa are fine too. As for Yuvi and my honewala devar, they are great! And now, tell me, how are you?"

Anjali knew her little sister missed her family too much. Every night she would call from the island and talk for hours at a stretch.

"Di, I miss you guys…"

"Jhooti! Are you sure you miss us, or just your fianc?" Anjali loved teasing her sister.

"Di!" Niki blushed.

"Okay, I have to go. I'll call you later bachha, huh?"

"Sure di. I love you!"

"Love you too."

Smiling, Anjali kept the phone and reached for the photo on her desk. In it were all the people that made up her life – her mom and dad, her cousin, two sisters, one son, her husband, one brother-in-law, and his brother.
With a sigh, she tenderly placed it back and picked up a file, absentmindedly thinking about how her sister was doing by herself.

After talking to her sister, Nikita Gupta lay across her bed.
I am supposed to be studying, she reminded herself. Somehow, she could never focus on what she was supposed to be doing.

Just then, her phone rang.
"Teri Ore, Teri Ore, Teri Ore, Hayye Rabba….Teri Ore, Teri Ore, Teri Ore……….."

She loved this song. She hummed along with it for a while until she realized someone was actually calling her. She picked it up without seeing who it was, and was awarded with a "Hi Sexy!" She smiled widely.

"Hi Handsome! Kahan ho? Tumne itni der mujhe phone kyun nahin kiya?" she whined.

On the other side of the line, the man smiled. Natak baazi, he thought with a grin.
