PART 6

College''.
It is friendships day today and our whole gang is really busy with the preparations. Well every1 except riddhima is. Anji, atul, abhi and nikki are busy decorating the hall along with some other students for the evenings party''..rahul and muskaan who had actually come here to help the others bt it seems their fight is much more important at the moment. Armaan is busy thinking how is he going to surprise riddhima and riddhima is juzz not interested in any of these. For her this day was like any other day coz did it make any sense to celebrate this day without ur best friend?
She looked around the hall and found every1 too busy in their own work and so decided to leave from there. She was really very upset. She juzz wanted to go out and search her friend bt since this was her first week in india and in the college ofcourse, she had to first get settled to this life and thn think of nething else.
As she was looking for a place to sit alone for some time''..she found a classroom empty and went inside and sat there on the corner most seat of the class. She took out box wrapped in a beautiful gift wrapper. She brought it infront of her face and stared at it for some time. A tear escaped from her eyes bt she quickly wiped them before anybody could see it
She took out an envelope from her bag and started writing something on it. Tears were constantly flowing down her cheeks wen she was writing the letter.
She then folded the letter neatly and put it back in the envelope. She was about to put the gift and the envelope in the bag wen '''..
"ridzzzzzzz" muskaan called out to riddhima loudly from the corridor. She shouted so loudly tat riddhima almost jumped with shock. But soon she realized it was muskaan.
"yeh muskaan itna kyun chilla rahi hai? Jaroor koi jaroori kaam hoga" thinking this she quickly went towards the corridor leaving the letter and the gift on the bench

"kya hua muskaan itna jor se kyun chilla rahi thi?" she asked muskaan with a little frown on her face
"toh aur kya karti hum log kab se bula rahe the par tune koi jawaab hi nahi diya toh mujhe laga ki tu ghar chali gayi hogi"
"kya???? Pehli baat toh mein yahi thi aur madam agar tujhe laga ki mein ghar chali gayi hoon toh itna jor se kyun chilla rahi thi? Teri awaaj kya ghar tak aane waali thi?" she asked muskaan getting a bit irritated
" arre riddhima tum kaisi baat kar rahi ho. Aisi samajhdari ki baat usse karte hain jinke paas dimaag hota hai. Lekin iska toh upar ka manjil khali hai toh yeh bechaari kya karti?" rahul said teasing muskaan
"rahul ke bache tu toh apna muh band hi kar samjhe. Tu kehna kya chahta hai ki mere paas dimaag nahi hai?" muskaan said her face flushed with anger
"aur nahi toh kya aur mere bachon ke peeche kyun padi hai abhi tak toh bechaare paida bhi nahi hue" rahul said irritating muskaan all the more
"oyye khote'..tu kuch time ke liye apna muh band nahi rakh sakta kya? Har waqt Bandar ki tarah beech mein aata rehta hai'''mein toh riddhima se baat kar rahi thi na''.tu na Bandar ka Bandar hi rahega"
"oyye bandar kisko bol rahi hai? College ki aadhi se jyaada ladkiyan mujh par marti hai aur tu'.."
Bt before he cud say anything muskaan started laughing in her usual style " haha''.rahul joke bada acha maar leta hai yaar tu toh"
Rahul was about to say something bt
An, at, n, ab, r (together) stop it guys
Rahul and muskaan looked at each other and then at their friends who seemed to be quite irritated with them. They made an innocent face and both together " sorry"
N : guys armaan kahaan hai?
An : pata nahi abhi toh yahin tha''..waise bhi kya farak padta hai subah se na toh help kar raha hai aur na hi majak bas kuch soche jaa raha hai
Ab : haan yaar par waise bhi is baar ek baat achi hui hai. Who har saal ke tarah atleast is saal apne ghar par nahi baitha hai'''varna toh kabhi bhi friendship day par kahin nahi chalta aur na hi party karta hai
Riddhima who was till nw nt interested in whatever they were talking grew all the more curious. She didn't knw y bt since the past few days she had felt tat she knew armaan since a long time''.yea she does get irriated with him most of the time bt she never actually felt bad about it. Infact since the past 4 days she had really started enjoying their small silly fights, though nt at the moment they used to fight bt later wenever she used to think bout it it wud bring a smile on her face no matter what.
Riddhima : aisa kyun?
M : who actually na uski ko dos'..
She was bout to say something bt nikki hurriedly stopped her from saying anything
N : arre muskaan dekh tujhe wahaan koi bula raha hai(after muskaan had gone) guys humare pas bhi time nahi hai jyaada'''jaldi se saare arrangements dekh lete hain phir baat karenge
R : arre lekin
N : sorry riddhima par baadme baat karte hain'.waise tum bhi toh humari madat karo na
she was talking to riddhima wen she saw armaan coming in their direction looking quite happy
"lagta hai riddhima ko surprise dene ka plan bana chuka hai" she mumbled to herself
"kuch kaha tumne?" riddhima asked her
"n'..nahi toh mein'..meine kuch nahi kaha acha neways ab jaldise meri help kar do na in balloons ko lagane mein"
"sure" riddhima smiled at her
"arre yeh dekho armaan bhi aa gaya" atul said pointing towards armaan
A : hey champ''.need any help?
At : haan yaar armaan ek kaam kar na who class no 25 mein maine kuch decorations ke saman rakhe the tu le aayega kya plz?
A : yea ohk'..i will juzz come in a moment
Saying this he went in the classroom'''he took the box in which all the materials were kept and was bout to go wen his eyes fell on a gift and a note kept beside it. He kept the box on the floor and took the envelope(yes guys it was the envelope that ridz had forgotten in the class)
He looked over there and found that riddhima had written it for him
He thought for a while whether to open it or nt'''bt being armaan obviously he opened it and started reading it

Hey armaan
Kaise ho? Quess wat armaan mein Mumbai mein hi hoon'..par tumse bahut naraj hoon. Tumne mujhse kaha tha ki tum mujhe college mein miloge par tum toh yahaan ho hi nahi armaan. mein tumhare purane ghar gayi thi par tab pata chala ki tum shift ho chuke ho. Kahan ho tum armaan? mein yahaan sirf tumhare liye aayi hoon aur tumhara toh koi ata pata hi nahi. Dekhna jab milenge na tab baat hi nahi karungi tumse. Phir manate rehna mujhe. Mujhe laga tha shayad yeh friendship day tumhare saath celebrate kar sakungi par humesha ke tarah is saal bhi tum yahaan mere saath nahi ho. Par phir bhi humesha ki tarah is saal bhi meine tumhare liye gift kharida hai. I hope ki next friendship day par mein akele nahi houngi
Missing u a lot
Ur basket

Armaan read the letter and looked at the gift. He picked it up and put it against his chest. He closed his eyes and said
"I missed u too basket bas ab shaam(evening) ka intezaar hai basket aur phir tum khudhi mujhe yeh gift de dena"
He kept the gift along with the letter to its original place and left from there. As soon as he went out riddhima came inside running like mad. She took the letter and the gift put it in her bag and said "thank god mujhe toh laga ki meine isse kho hi diya tha"

In the evening
Many students had reached the college hall and were enjoying the party. Atul, armaan, rahul and abhi had also reached there and were waiting for the girls since half an hour. Actually the girls had decided tat they wud meet at riddhima's house and wud come to the party directly from there
Ra : "arre yaar ab yeh log kahan reh gaye? Kitna bor ho raha hai. Pata nahi maharaniyaan kya kar rahi hai? "
Ab : "abbey rahul who ladkiyan hai tayaar hone mein time toh lagayegi hi na. pata nahi itna kya karna hota ha unko"
A : "saale rahul ka toh samajh sakhta hoon''.muskaan ke bina uska man hi nahi lagta par tu kyun itna unka wait kar raha hai haan haan???"
Ab : "abbey aisa kuch nahi hai mein toh bas aise hi pooch raha tha''.waise bhi mujhe kya padi hai nikita ki"
Armaan on hearing this grinned mischievously
"meine niki ka toh naam nahi liya tha'''kya baat hai abhi love is in the air''."
At : "yaar yeh sab chodo yaar waise bhi inlogon ke bina koi maja bhi nahi aata'.........kahan reh gaye yeh log?"
"hum yahaan hain''.." the boys turned around in their direction and were dumbstruck to see four beautiful girls standing infront of them.
Nikki was wearing a blue Capri and red halter neck top. She had left her hair open and had applied lil makeup on her face. She hadn't put anything heavy yet to abhi she looked like the most beautiful girl he had ever seen and the same was the case with atul and rahul. Atul looked at anjali who was wearing a white kneelenght halter neck dress and had curled her hair a bit more thn usual. And rahul was constantly gazing at muskaan who was wearing a tight fit blue jeans and light pink offshoulder top. Rahul was mesmerized on seeing her.
Riddhima was wearing a black churidaar which had works of silver all over it. She had left her hair lose and was wearing a delicate heart shaped silver necklace. She had applied minimal makeup bt yet had managed to look juzz like a princess. Armaan went upto her and said " you are looking beautiful today"
Riddhima smiled on hearing this and said thnx. They juzz looked at their friends especially the boys who were busy staring the girls coz of which muskaan and nikki were blushing badly bt anji(our anji as usual can never blush na) was trying to get atul out of his thoughts
Riddhima and armaan both giggled on seeing their friends like this. They slowly went upto their friends and shouted "guysssssssss"
On hearing this every1 came out of their dream world. They looked at AR were a questionable look.
A : "arre tum log aise sun hi nahi rahe the isliye chillana pada"
R : "arre armaan tum bhi na'''aur koi kisime itna khoye hue ho toh unhe sunayi kaise dega?"
Hearing this abhi, rahul and atul were quite ambarassed, nikki and muskaan blushed slightly while anji juzz rolled her eyes and armaan and riddhima well they were having a gr8 time teasing their friends. They chatted for a while with each other and then all of then hit the dance floor. They all danced on the song ' pappu cant dance saala' with rahul as pappu and had a blast. While all others were still enjoying and dancing riddhima felt a little suffocated there so decided to go on the terrace.
She was standing on the terrace taking the support of the railing and looking at the sky enjoying the cool breeze when someone patted on her shoulder. She turned around and was shocked to see him there
"tum" she shouted
"haan mein, kyun kisi aur ko expect kar rahi thi kya?" the guy said with an evil smile.
"dekho vivek mera mood mat kharab karo aur chale jaao yahaan se" she told him angrily
"arre itni bhi kya jaldi hai abhi toh aaya hoon, abhi kaise chala jaaun?" he said coming near her
"toh tum aise nahi manoge na" she said and raised her hand to slap him bt vivek held it in time and twisted her hand which made her wince in pain. She tried to free her hand bt vivek was too strong for her.
"tum chahte kya ho''.plz mujhe chod do vivek" she said tears flowing down from her eyes.
"arre tum ro kyun rahi ho? Us din toh badi bahadur bani ghum rahi thi. Haan kya kaha tha tumne 'dnt u dare mess with me' lo m messing with u. batao ab kya kar logi tum?" he said his voice showing hw badly he wanted to take the revenge for tat day and tat he wud do nething to make her feel horrible.
He moved a lil closer towards riddhima and riddhima got all the more scared. He moved his hand towards her face bt before he cud even touch her he felt some1's hand on his shoulder. He turned around and found armaan standing there. Riddhima on seeing armaan felt a lot better bt vivek was still holding her hand so she cudnt move. Armaan saw tat and was trying really hard to control his anger
"vivek uska haath chod" he said his voice cleary reflecting the intensity of anger he had held in him
"nahi chodunga toh kya kar lega?" vivek said challenging armaan
"dekh vivek yeh tu bhi jaanta hai aur mein bhi ki ek baar agar mera haath uth gaya toh tere liye theek nahi hoga. Waise bhi last year classes mein tu mujhse kitni baar maar kha chuka hai. Isliye keh raha hoon ki koi scene mat create kar aur riddhima ko chod de" he said slowly losing all his patience
Vivek was hell scared on hearing this. He knew armaan was one of the best boxer''.he had proved it during their training bt right nw if he left riddhima it wud mean tat he was scared of armaan which he didn't want to show tat at any cost. So he said
"tujhe jo karna hai karle armaan mein tujhse darta nahi hoon" saying this he held riddhima'shand even more tightly which made her cry in pain
Tat was it he had tested armaan's patience. Before anyone cud realize anything there came a hard blow on vivek's face and he fell on the ground. Riddhima immediately rushed towards armaan and hugged him tightly. She was damn scared at the moment. She cudnt believe wat had juzz happened. What if armaan hadn't come on time? What would have vivek done to her? All these fears were constantly running in her mind. She cudnt believe tat a guy who is juzz about 17 or 18 wud do such a cheap thing. Armaan was quite hurt on seeing riddhima crying so badly. he moved his hand through her hair and tried to calm her down
"sshhhh''..riddhima kuch nahi hua hai. Mein hoon na tumhare pas bas ab chup hojayo" he said still running his hand through her hairs. After a while riddhima calmed down and separated herself from the hug. She didn't knw what she should say. She was juzz thankful to him.
"chale" armaan asked her
"hmmmm" she juzz nodded her head.
Armaan turned to go wen riddhima called him back
"ummm''.armaan"
"haan bolo" he said turning around
"woh''..thnx armaan. agar tum nahi aate toh '.." she said her tears threatening to come out any moment.
"riddhima its ok aur waise bhi dosti mein no sorry no thank you samjhi" armaan said smiling at her
Seeing his smile riddhima cudnt help bt smile herself
"ab chale"
"haan chalo" she said
They went downstairs bt riddhima cudnt find their gang anywhere
"armaan sab kahan gaye?" she asked him still looking here and there
"actually sab ghar chale gaye hain. Mein tumhe bulane hi aaya tha. Neways mein tumhe drop kar dunga chalo"
"nahi armaan its ok mein chali jaaungi."
"riddhima meine kaha na mein chod deta hoon toh ab chalo" he said with a firm tone indicating that he didn't want to argue on the topic anymore. So riddhima quietly followed him and off they went in his car.
On his way home riddhima fell asleep. Armaan looked at her and thnked his stars coz if she wud have been awake she wud have asked him lot of questions like where they are gng and y isn't he droping her at her house. He had told anjali everything bout their friendship and nw all his friends knew tat riddhima was armaan's best friend. He stopped his car infront of his house. He knew tat he wud have to wake up riddhima and take her with him without scaring her. Like after what vivek did to her she might be scared and wudnt trust him afterall she still didn't knw tat he is her best friend. he shook riddhima and told her that they had reached their destination. Riddhima slowly opened her eyes and found the place quite unfamiliar. She got down from the car and looked at her surrounding. She was definitely nt anywhere near to her house and she looked at armaan with a confused expression.
"who actually anji ka phone aaya tha aur usne kaha ki who sab mere ghar pe hai. Tum so rahi thi isliye tumhe jagaya nahi. I hpe u dnt mind" armaan looked into her eyes for an answer
Riddhima smiled at him and said " its ok armaan chale andar?"
"haan chalo"
They reached the main door of his house. Armaan was bout to open it bt found it already open. He thought mayb he had left it open in hurry. They went inside and the room was quite dark
"armaan itna andhera kyun hai. Aur tumne toh kaha tha ki sab log idhar hai phir itna andhera kyun ho rakha hai?" she asked nervously and waited for his answer bt wen she didn't get one she was hell scared.

"armaan kahan ho tum? Armaaannn'."bt before she cud say nething further the lights were switched on and she was shocked wen she looked around the hall. The whole hall was decorated with balloons and in the middle of the wall it was beautifully written
"BESTS FRIENDS FOREVER"
Bt all these things weren't the one that caught her attention. It was the pictures hanging on the wall that did. All the four walls of the room had different photo frames hanging on them. She went upto one frame and caressed it for some time. It was the photo when armaan was only around an year old and riddhima might be a month or two months old. Armaan was sitting on the bed and was carefully holding her in his arms and was playing with her. She thn went upto the next photoframe . this was the one wen armaan and riddhima both were playing with each other ''.the next photo was wen they were in first grade and riddhima was hell scared to meet new ppl and tats y was holding armaan's hand.
Like this many other pics of their childhood was there. She moved on to the next frame and it was the day wen she was leaving india. And the last one was his and riddhima's first day in college pic. She nw knew why it felt so nice to be with armaan. yes her armaan''.he had been with her right since she came here. She wiped her tears and looked around room bt cudnt find armaan. she then she heard his voice
"happy friendship day basket" she closed her eyes on hearing tat name. she was dying to hear this name and yes today her best friend was right here infront of her. She turned around and looked at him. He was carrying a cake with him. He put it on the table and asked her to come near him. She went there and looked at the cake. It was her favourite choco trufel cake. She looked at him and smiled. Both of them had so much to say so much to talk bout bt right nw it seemed as if words weren't ready to come out. Riddhima and armaan both held the knife and cut the cake and feeded each other. Riddhima quickly hugged him and he hugged her back.
"happy friendship day armaan" she said still hugging him. The tears in her eyes weren't ready to stop. This was probably the best day in her life. Armaan gently separated from the hug and wiped her tears.
"basket ab kyun ro rahi ho''.maanna padega itni badi hogayi ho par phir bhi rone ki aadat ab bhi nahi gayi na tumhari'''jab dekho tab 'whaaa whaaa' karke roti rehti ho bacho ki tarah" he said tat nd immediately saw the expression on her face turn to anger
"armaan mein 'whaa whaa' karke nahi roti samjhe tum. Aur tum meine tumse bada jhoota aaj tak nahi dekha hai''.tumhe pata tha na sab kuch phir itne din kyun chapaya? Haan bolo''bolona ab''bolti kyun band hogayi achanak se?"
"abbey meri maa tum bolna band karogi tohi toh kuch bolunga na'''jab dekho chapad chapad shuru rehti hai tumhari''.kitna bolti ho tum"
"hawwwwwwww''..meine kab chapad chapad kiya tum hi bolte rehte ho bevakoof kahinke'''.tumse toh na mein jaao baat hi nahi karungi'''.phir manana mujhe"she was bout to leave wen armaan held her hand and said
"riddhima mein majak kar raha tha baba'''.i m sorry" he said holding his ears asking for forgiveness juzz like a lil child
Riddhima smiled on seeing his cuteness'''yes these were the things she had missed a lot all these years''.she had missed these lil fights between them''.she had missed his asking for forgiveness wenever she wud get angry, she had missed his cuteness his innocence and most of all she had missed him

It's all good - no worries yaar! I think you did wonderful without the colour change whatsoever! I loved the way Armaan saved Ridhima from Vivek ... and then the reunion of AR's Friendship! LOVE your FF - waiting for more soon 😊!
