Clutching the broken locket even more tightly in my hands , I ran upstairs to my green room , pushing away the gawking-at-me humans out of my way..

M== what do u mean??? Who sacrificed what???

He sounded completely freaked out' I tried to answer him calmly..

S== mayank.. twin listen to me .. go start the show' I promise I'll join u shortly n pls don't freak out now , I am freaked enough forr both of us..

My viose cracked a bit in the end n I could feel everyone's eyes on me as I pulled open the door to my green roon n stumbled inside..

M(taking deep breadths)=k .. m believeing u n m going.. as u say the show must go on..

S== bang on twin, the show must go on..

Saying so I ended the call n wrenched the earphone out of my ears n threw them along with my mobile over the dressing table..

Then taking up deep breadths I finally musterd up enough courage to look at myself in the numerous mirrors in the room..

N I came to a simple conclusion

I looked crappy n dampy..

Well ok may be .. I think crappy n dampy weren't words enough to describe my state but still'..

I was happy that mayank didn't get a chance to see me like this..

Even on hearing my panicked voice he had been so upset n freaked out,..

I shuddered to think what would have happened if he saw me like this covered in blood n mud'..

I blinked my eyes n scrutinised myself yet again '

Another simple conclusion ..

No way in the hell was I going to be able to go onstage painted I red like this..

I sighed n stole one more glance at the locket before kissing it n placing it too on the dressing table..

N then I wrenched myself out of that torned up messy shirt'

"HELLO MUMBAI'''R U READY GUYS??????.....

THERE IS GOING TO BE LOADS OF FUN TONIGHT!!!!!!!"

A sudden warm relief washed through me as I heard mayank speaking from on the stage'..

He was rocking it as usual .. n thanks to chashmish I would be joining my twin on stage in just a few minutes'

"HEY PEOPLE I SEE SOME ROCKING YOUNGSTERSS OUTTA HERE TONIGHT!!!!"

I Smiled '. MAYANK had always been great with the start up lines to any concert show'

I smiled some more as I heard the crowd going crazy after him'.

He was one rockstar for sure my twin'.

Well I didn't really have much time so I picked up the water jus kept in the room n poured it over my face ,Rubbing clean the blood from my cheeks n neck..

Then I repeated the same thing with my arms'

Using a towel I wiped my arms n face ..

I pulled on a black jacket,

the words "THE SERIAL KILLER" were printed on its back side in a fuinky calligraphy ..

I didn't wear a shirt underneath it ' as I looked damm cool with bare chest n a muddy torn up wet jeans'

Or atleast that was what the girls used to say'

Whatever' I shifted my concentration to my hair now ..

They were wet n in critical position..

This was an i-need-my-hair-gel-this-very-second crisis..

My hair were messy . so I ruffled them some more?(in a stylish way) using my gel'

Then I looked at the nasty cut just above my right eye..

It still stunged bad.. n that was really really sad..

I couldn't go out like this.. I looked around the room thinking hard about what could I do to about it????

That's exactlt when my eyes fixed themselves on a black band kept just at the edge of the dressing table..

"perfect"'.."I needed just that"

Saying so I pulled on the band over my head positioning it neatly on my forehead so that it covered the nasty cut completely'

N then I ruffled my hair a little bit to let them fall over the band..

Finally feeling a little better about the way I looked .

I picked up my guitar and literally ran upto the stage'
