I just wanted to point out how a writer had copied a twilight fic verbatim from fanfiction.net. She only cared to modify the names of the characters and passed it off as her own work. It was obvious; halfway through the names read "Edward' and "Bella" instead of "Virat" and "Maanvi" . I did a google search, and found out that it had been copied.

Such blatant plagiarism is completely unacceptable. I did not want to post my comment on the thread and cause embarrassment, so here goes. I know that this story is in the EHMMBH Forum, but I found that reporting here would be better.

I checked it out and yes it's a blatant copy paste with only the names changed. But the story is posted in another section of IF and I don't have moderation rights over there. I'm reporting it in that section on your behalf. But I think you should report it as well. It's necessary that the DTs of that section are notified so that they can take appropriate action.

hey aanya...if the writer is fighting over the a thing, you can complain it as having adult material which is not allowed on IF...

the dev team of IPKKND surly need to have an action on this...its so disrespectful for the original writers...

i've started an SS on maaneet which is based on an M&B. i've given credit to the author and it is not a word by word copy, but i am keeping the situations the same... the idea to write it was not to pass it off as mine...i enjoyed the story so much and had such fun imagining it with my fav jodi that i wanted to share the experience with my friends...
is it allowed?

Hello there!

Right so the other day I was reading my all time favourite novel "The Wedding" by Nicholas Sparks. There was a particular scene which I wanted to write on Arnav&Khushi. My query is, am I allowed to do that? Of course I will be writing it in my own words completely and credit the author. Am I allowed the use the plot of the scene to build up my story up? Again, I will not be using the dialogues or the wordings of the book but will only be using the plot...

I'll grateful if anyone could answer to my query...
