Scene 5 - How to say Thank You

Santo is in the SanRaj room looking for her bangles which she had bought the other day, but she could not find them, meanwhile DM comes out of the shower into the room with his dhoti and greeny/browny coloured kurta on, and rubbing his head with the towel and approaches his wardrobe (for his watch). Santo continues to search. DM standing near the wardrobe looks at her searching all the draws

DM: "su che, kya doond rahi hai?" (What's up, what are you looking for?)

Santo: "my new bangles i had put them here but now cant find them" (still searching the draws)

DM nods and smiles, he opens his wardrobe and gets the bangles out (the ones santo bought, but DM had hid)

DM approaches her from behind and stands there watching her with his BR eyes, Santo searching stands up and turns to go to look in the wardrobe and bumps into DM who is stood behind her. They have an eyelock. DM still looking into her eyes, holds her left hand and raises it up and begins to put the bangles on her, slowly one by one (his eyes still looking into santos eyes). Santo looks at the bangles and then looks at DM and smiles. She is shy and tries to walk away but DM hold her hand, he pulls her close to her. DM looking at her, but santo being shy looks down, he puts his hand underneath her chin and raises her head slightly up, she looks at him lovingly but still shy.

Santo : shyly "Thank you", DM smiles

DM: "no that's not enough", he removes his hand from her chin and puts his finger on his lips (signing he wants a kiss)

DM waits for his kiss, (still looking into her eyes with the dimple smile). Santo being shy smiles and goes close, but then kisses him on his cheek

and quickly runs out of the room.

DM: "ay santudi.....wait", smiles and shakes his head

Some time passes.............DM still in room (not left the room), had day off work, but began to do some paperwork in his room.

Santo enters with his chai, DM makes her put it on the table, she puts it on the table and looks up at him sat on the chair, and begins smiles (wants to laugh but stops herself from doing so).

DM: "im just going downstairs to get some papers i need and i will come back and have the chai"

DM stands up and makes way to the door..

Santo: "Malik wait". DM stops and turns around.

DM: "su che"

Santo approaches him smiling and with smirk on her face but also feeling embarrassed

Santo: "Malik wo" pointing at his cheek

DM: "su?"

Santo points at his cheek again, DM goes near the mirror (where santo pic on the wall) and sees some lipstick on his cheek. He looks and smiles, Santo laughing, he then looks at her and shakes head (with smile and rubs it off with his hands), he then begins to walk near the door to leave the room, but then stops, santo still laughing (stood near the mirror).

He turns around and approaches her, with the BR eyes and like he is about to do something, Santo slowly stops to laugh and begins to become shy. DM does not say a word, he lifts her head up with his hand (under chin) he moves his face closer to hers leaving almost no distance between their faces. Santo feels her heart beating fast....DM slowly touches her lips with his lips, Santos eyes close and a shiver of thrill runs up her spine, he kisses her slowly and softly and then slowly moves his lips away and looks at her, she is enjoying every moment and has her eyes closed, he smiles (knowing he has just made her feel all amazed)........

DM: "thats my way of saying thank you" she opens her eyes slowly upon hearing DM's words and then sees him leaving the room....................................
