It's 3:00 in the afternoon; Armaan and Riddhima are called in the meeting room where everybody is waiting for them. Armaan and Riddhima arrive in the meeting room, to find Shashank and Billy over there discussing something about sending someone somewhere.

A: um, aplogo ne hume bulaya?

Billy: ha, beta andar aao, humlog ko tum dono se kuch zaroori baat karni hai.

R: (worried) zaroori baat?

A: (concerned) anything serious?

Shashank: kuch aisa hi. Tumlog beto na, phir tumlogo ko batate hai.

Armaan and riddhima both get to their seats and they sit down.

A: han to bataye, akir baat kya hai?

Shashank: beta baat ye hai k, tum dono toh jante ho k lonavala k orphanage mein hum har dusre mahine donations dete hai. Toh is mahine ek problem hogaye hai.

R: problem? Kaisi problem?

Billy: woh darasal beta, jo admi ye donations ki cheeze lejata tha, uski achanak tabiyat kharab hogayi hai, aur ye cheeze humlogo ko kal tak pochani hai. Aur ye kaam koi barose wale ko hi humlog de sakte hai, hum ye kaam tumlog ke bhaiyo ko dedete par woh log apne dusre projects mein busy hai, toh humlog chahate hai k tumlog ye cheeze lejao.

Shashank: agar tumlogo ko koi problem nahi ho toh''warna koi zabardasti nahi hai.

A: nahi nahi uncle humlog lejayenge.

R: par jana kab hai?

Billy: ek ghante mein tumlogo ko nikal na parega, aur tumlogo ko wahan kam se kam 2 din toh rukna hi parega.

Shashank: kyunki, tumlogo ko 1-2 din rakeh bina toh riddhima ki aunty hargis wapas nahin anay degi. Toh isliye tumlogo ko wahan maximum 2 din toh rehna hi parega.

R: kya, humlog khalu ke orphanage mein jarahe hain? (loves her khalu a lot and she is the one person who knows riddhima by her heart).

Shashank nods a yes.

A: toh aplogo ne hume pehle kyun nahin bataya?

Billy: kyunki hum dekhna chahate the ke tumlogo ka jawab kiya hoga.

Shashank: Ab chalo jaldi jaldi ghar jao aur saman lekar lonavala liye nikalo.

R: par, sab ko toh batana parega na?

Shashank: tu uski parwah nahin kar, sab ko pata hai. Kal raat ko hi sab ko pata chal gaya tha, bus tumlog se puchne ki der thi, ab jaldi jao aur lonavala liye niklo'..aur ek baat aur riddhima beta, woh donation ki cheezo wala bag, ghar pe para hai, toh apne bag k saath woh bag bhe lelena.

R: okay, papa.

A: theek hai, humlog chalte hai, poch k phone karenge. Bye.

Armaan and riddhima leave the meeting room and armaan drops riddhima home. Outside riddhima's house, armaan drops her.

A: jaldi, sab cheeze tayar karlo, mein ek gante mein tumhe pick karne ata hoon.

R: okay, I'll wait. Par pls late nahin karna.

A: don't worry basket, tumhe toh pata hai na, k mein har cheez waqt pe karta hoon.

R: woh to hain, par agar tumhari kisi titli ka phone agaya na, toh tumhe waqt ka pata hi nahin chale ga.

A: tumhe sukoon nahin milta na, jab tak din mein ek baar mujhse argument nahin karlo toh.

R: mein argument nahin karahi hoon balke tumhe late hone ka mana karahi hoon.

As riddhima finishes saying this off, her cell rings. Its her mom calling.

R: ye lo tumse larne behti, aur mummy ka phone agaya. Paka ghar ane ka poochna hoga. Mein jarahi hoon, jaldi ana.

Riddhima gets off the car and goes in the house.

A: (to himself) basket toh humesha basket hi rahegi.

Armaan leaves for his house.

It's 4:00pm and armaan still has not reached riddhima's house, riddhima is phoning him but his phone is coming out of reach, both the landline and his cell are busy. Now its 5:00pm. Finally, armaan has arrived. He cums to the door and rings the bell. Riddhima opens the door.

R: (mad) agaye tum? Shayad abhi kuch 2 gante pehle kisi ne mujhse kaha tha k "mein har cheez waqt pe karta hoon".

A: haaaaaa, lekin woh''''..mein toh ane wala tha par ushi waqt''.

R: (interrupts) ushi waqt kisi ka phone agaya ho ga na? aur phir baat kuch itni interesting hogayi hogi k tumhe waqt ka pata hi nahin chala hoga, aur phir jab tumhari nazar ghadi pe gayi hogi to panch bajne mein sirf dus minute baki hongi, aur phir tumhe realize hua hoga k tumhe mujhe pick karne ana hai aur tumne rush kiya hoga. (sterned voice) RIGHT?

A: basket, tum meri baat''''''.

R: armaan, bas karo ab, tumhe pata tha na k hume 4 baje nikal na hai, phir bhi tum pure ek ghante late aye ho, aur upar se apna mobile kya, apne ghar ke phone ko bhi busy rakahtah.

A: basket meri baat toh suno, woh darasal''.

R: mujhe tumhari koi baat nahin sunni''''..

As riddhima finishes saying this, her cell starts ringing and its her 2^nd Big Brother.

R: (on the phone) hello'

Riddhima's 2^nd Big Brother: (on the phone) hello riddhima, maine tujhe isliye phone kya hai k armaan thodi der mein wahan poch jayega. Toh tu pls uspe late hone ki wajah se gussah nahin karna. Darasal, woh time pe hi tere paas araha tha, lekin yahan office ka kuch zaroori kaam agaya tha isliye woh ghar pe wohi kaam karaha tha. Toh ho sake toh apna gussah control mein rakna aur use uski baat kehne dena. Acha, I have to go now, meeting start horayi hai, aur ha lonavala poch kar phone karna. Bye.

R: (looking at armaan) bye bhai.

As riddhima cuts the line, her bari bhabhi enters the scene.

Riddhima's Bari Bhabhi: are, armaan tum agaye, aur tumlog abhi tak nahin gaye.

A: (looking towards riddhima) woh bhabhi bas nikal hi rahe the.

Riddhima's bhabhi looks at riddhima who seems upset right now.

Riddhima's Bari Bhabhi: riddhima kya hua?

R: kuch nahin bhabhi, um, hum chalte hain.

Riddhima's Bari Bhabhi: teek hai, poch k phone karlena.

Armaan picks up riddhima's bag and the donation bag and goes towards the car. Riddhima follows him and gets in the car. And they leave. On the road (half an hour has past), armaan looks at riddhima and sees that she's upset.

A: kya hua? Pichle adhe gante se tumhe dekh raha hoon. Kyun itni upset ho?

R: kuch nahin.

A: come on basket, stop lying, batao kya hua?

R: tumne kyun nahin bataya k tum ghar pe office ka kuch zaroori kam karahe the?

A: (paused) toh bhaiya ne tumhe sab bata diya?

R: han, bhaiya ne mujhe sab bata diya par tum kyun chup khare rahe, balke tumhe toh ulta mujhe bolna chahiye tha k mein galat samajh rahi hoon aur tum fool around nahi karahey teh balke, office ka kaam karahey the.

A: basket, tum mujhe kuch batane deti toh main batata na, aur toh aur jab mein batane ki koshish karta tha, tum mujhe chup kara deti thi.

R: tum toh aise bolrahe ho jaise mere bolne se tum bohut chup hojate ho na.

R: ek shart pe.

A: shart? Basket, ye fair nahin hain ha? Ye shart kahan se beech mein agayi?

R: theek hai, toh mein pura rasta aise hi betongi, tum sochlo.

A: lekin basket''''

R: (interrupts) ha ke siwah mujhe kuch nahin sunna.

A: (gives up) acha theek hai, batao kya shart hai.

R: theek hai, meri shart yeh hai k aj ke baad agar mein tumhe galat samajh rahi hon toh tum bilkul sweet banke mera gussa nahi sahoge balke tum apni asal baat batao ge.

A: basket, ye kuch zyada hi zallim shart nahin hai.

R: matlab?

A: matlab ye k agar mein tumhe sab tumhare gussa karne se pehle batadunga toh tumhara gussa kaise dekunga, aur tum kaun sa mujhpe roz gussa karti ho, ke mujhe itni problem hogi tumhare gusse se, ha roz larti ho (makes a face at her), lekin aisa gussa toh tum kabhie kabhie karti hon.

R: armaaaaaaaaaaan'''.

A: ha basket'''

R: stop flirting wid me''..

A: flirting, ye flirting kya hoti hai basket?

R: acha toh tumhe nahi pata flirting kya hoti hai?

A: nahi mujhe nahin pata k flirting kya hoti hai.

R: armaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnn''''

A: ha basket''''..

R: stop it! Tum mera gussa duur karahe hon ya aur bara rahe hon?

A: mein toh duur hi karne ki koshish karaha hoon, lekin tum ho ke bharak jaldi jaati hon.

R: mein bharakti hoon ya tum mujhe bharkate hon.

A: nahin, basket tum khud bharakti ho.

R: armaan''..

A: basket''.

R: armaan ab bas hogaya ha.

A: yehi to mein bol raha hoon ki bas hogaya, aur kitna larongi?

R: armaan mein kehrahi hoon ha, bas ho gaya, nahin toh''.

A: (looking towards riddhima, not concentrating on the road) nahi toh kya riddhima.

Riddhima looks towards the road and sees that all the cars are stopped and she knows that if they don't stop, they will collide with the other cars.

R: (screams) armaan, ghadi roko!!!

Armaan looks ahead in a hurry.

A: oh shit!!!!!! (stops the car in time)

Both armaan and riddhima jump a bit in their seats.

A: (concerned) tum theek toh ho?

R: ha, mein theek hoon.

A: thank god, bachgaye. (realizes the traffic) lekin yeh traffic? Lagta hai age koi accident hua hai. Mein dekh kar ata hoon.

R: mein bhi ati hoon tumhare saath.

A: nahi, riddhima tum yahan hi beto.

R: par armaan'..

A: riddhima maine kaha na yahan hi beto. Mein thodi der mein ata hoon.

Armaan gets off the car and goes to the front of the traffic. Riddhima sits in the car and waits for him. Armaan cums after 5 minutes and sits in the car.

R: kya hua?

A: age ek accident hogaya hai. Clear hone mein time lagega.

R: kitni der?

A: kamse kam 2 gante.

R: 2 gante? Lekin armaan hum pehle hi late ho chuke hai aur ab'..

A: I know basket, but, we have no choice. Peeche bhi ab raasta band hogaya hai, toh wapas jane ka sawaal hi nahi uttah. We'll have to wait.

2 hours passed and its now 8:00pm and armaan and riddhima are still waiting.

R: armaan 2 gante hone ko aye, aur ye raasta''.

A: tum fikar mat karo, mein pooch ke ata hoon k aur kitni der lage gi.

Armaan goes back out and this time returns in 10 mins.

R: kya hua?

A: bus paanch minute aur. Raasta khul raha hai.

R: thank god. Warna pata nahin aur kitni der betna parta.

The traffic begins to move and soon they are on their way to lonavala.

R: chalo, jitna jaldi hua utna acha hai. Kaam se kaam us sarak ko clear karne liye yehlog ne poori raat toh nahin laga di.

A: kash'''

R: kya?

A: maine kahan ke kash poori raat laga di hoti.

R: matlab?

A: matlab ye ke mein dekhna chahata tha ke jab andhera hua tumhe itna dar lagraha tha, toh tum poori raat us anderi sarak pe kaise bitati.

R: tumhara ye kehne ka matlab hai k mujhe wahan dar lagraha tha?

A: jee han''''

R: (trying to hide her true feelings) toh let me tell you k jee nahi, mujhe koi dar nahi lagraha tha.

A: dekho basket, mujhe pata hai ke tumhe dar lagraha tha, toh chupane ki koshish tum bekar main karahi hon.

R: armaan dekho''.

A: basket, tum bhi na larne ka ek moka bhi nahi chodti.

R: armaan mein larnahi rahi bas bata rahi hoon k mujhe dar nahin lagraha tha.

A: acha toh tumhe udar se nikal ne ki itni jaldi kyun thi? Kyun mujhe baar baar bol rahi thi k mein check karne jao ke raasta khula k nahin? Jabke tum ghadi mein behti thi, aur ghadi mein darne wali aisi toh koi baat nahin thi. Ha, ab bolo. Bolo bolo.

Riddhima doesn't say anything.

A: dekha tumhare paas kuch nahin hai bolne liye. Tum bhi ye baat manti hon k tumhe dar lagraha tha. Basket, tum bhi na, kabhie meri baat nahin mano gi.

Riddhima makes a face at him.

They both continue their drive. And now its 9:00pm. And suddenly, armaan's car starts to bump on the road.

R: (worried) armaan, yeh kya horaha hai?

A: pata nahin. (the car shuts off)

R: armaan ye ghadi kyun band hogayi?

A: check karna padega, tum yahan hi beto.

Armaan goes out and is checking the bonnet.

R: (from the window) kya hua?

A: engine garm hogaya hai. Its not going to start unless we show it to a mechanic.

R: par armaan itni raat ko mechanic kahan se layenge.

A: that's the thing hume lift mangni pare gi. Hum ye ghadi corner mein laga dete hain, phir jab orphanage pochenge toh kisi se manga lenge.

Armaan pushes the car at a corner. Riddhima gets off the car, since the ground is rocky, as soon as she steps out of the car, her ankle gets twisted.

R: ouch!

A: riddhima (comes to her side) kya hua?

R: aow, lagta hain paon mein moch agayi.

A: paon dikhao

R: armaan abhi mera paon zaroori nahin hai, tum aisa karo ja ke lift mango.

A: par riddhima''.

R: armaan maine kahan na, I'm okay, tum jao.

A: sure?

R: ya.

Armaan asks for a lift but is unsuccessful.

A: riddhima I think hume thoda age jaana parega, since yahan zyada ghadiya nahin hain, aur age toh main highway hai toh wahan shayad lift miljaye.

R: okay.

A: theek hai chalo (cums to her side to help her get down from the bonnet)

R: par samaan?

A: woh ghadi ke saath ajayega.

Riddhima gets off the bonnet but due to her feet isn't able to stand still.

R: aow

A: chal pao gi?

R: ha

A: sure?

R: yep.

They walk a bit, and due to riddhima being not able to walk properly, they have a slow speed. At last riddhima is unable to walk and nearly falls, but armaan holds on to her.

A: riddhima sumbalo.

Riddhima stands still.

A: bus, ab tum nahi chalo gi.

R: par armaan, agar mein nahi chalongi toh hum highway pe kaise pochenge.

A: tum uski fiqaar mat karo. Hum highway pe zaroor pochenge.

R: par kaise?

Armaan picks riddhima up in his arms.

A: aise.

R: par armaan'..

A: par var kuch nahin, ab tum nahin chalogi and that's final.

Armaan and riddhima reach the highway and armaan puts riddhima down. It's 10:00pm. And tries again for a lift. A bus cums to a stop. This is a bus in which a family is travelling. An middle age man cums out of the bus.

Man: (to armaan, from the bus) ki hua putar, ghadi karab hogayi kya?

A: (to riddhima) mein dekh kar ata hoon. (goes to the bus) (to the men) jee han, darasal humlog ko lonavala jana hai aur humlog ki ghadi kharab hogaye hain, toh aplog hume lift de sakte hain?

Man: darasal humlog lonavala toh nahin par uske age jarahe hai, lekin raaste mein tumlog ko chod sakte hain.

A: matlab, ap humlog ko chod denge?

Man: ha ha kyun nahin.

A: theek hain toh mein abhi ata hoon.

Man: ek baat suno, tumlog husband wife hona?

A: husband wife? Kyu?

Man: who darasal baat ye hain, k is bas mein bache bhi hain, toh humlog sirf husband aur wife ko hi lift desakte hain, warna kya hai na, unpe bura asar par sakta hain. Toh tumlog husband wife ho na?

Armaan is in a dilemma now, on one side he can't let go off this lift by telling them the truth because in the first place it was hard to get it, and on the other hand he knows that riddhima won't agree with the husband wife thing.

PRECAP: What will armaan do? Kya woh riddhima ko is natak liye mana payega? Ya kya use ye lift gawani paregi?
