Armaan looked at the sky from his balcony and wondered how the next day is going to be like and on the other hand,Bharti just returned home after talking to Bhaskar, Payal and Ashish.Bharti didn't even talk to her parents and just went inside her room. She was looking towards the sky from her balcony as well.She recalled her conversation with Payal and Bhaskar after the conversation with Ashish in the car. Bhaskar was driving this time round and both Payal and Bhaskar saw Bharti feeling anxious.

Bharti is so not looking forward to the next day and so was Armaan. They had no idea what's in store for them.

The next day,Bharti went to her university to submit her project and on her way back she met Bhaskar and Payal and both of them accompanied her back home. Bharti is just so hesitant to even step into her home that Bhaskar and Payal had to drag her inside. Bharti was showing her attitude to Payal but she didn't even care. Payal asked her to wear a salwaar at least if she didn't want to wear a saree. Payal and Bhaskar had a small quarrel and Bharti didn't even wear the salwaar and she just wore her black T-shirt and jeans and took the bottle of Pepsi from Bhaskar's hands and just jumped around. Payal opened the door upon hearing the doorbell but Bhaskar brought her away and Bharti shook the bottle real hard and Bharti just splashed the entire Pepsi bottle on Armaan.

Payal and Bhaskar was trying to see who the guy was.Bharti was singing and splashing Pepsi all over the place and after finishing the bottle did she realize that there was someone at the door.Bharti widened her eyes in shock, for she thought she was splashing Pepsi at Payal and Bhaskar. She realized that it must be the 9th guy she was so not looking forward to. But he looked quite familiar to her but she just couldn't remember.There was something about him that looked familiar indeed. Just then she looked at him all drenched and she apologized profusely. She quickly came with a towel and gave it to Armaan. Just then Sudha came and was shocked to see Armaan all drenched. Bharti apologized and Sudha couldn't stop smiling and told Bharti that it's totally fine and asked if she could come in. Bharti smiled and went in and asked Sudha to come in. Sudha took a step inside but saw Armaan still standing outside.Sudha nudged him and asked him to come inside and Sudha noticed the strange look on his face and smiled to herself, thinking that Armaan is really liking Bharti for he hasn't taken his eyes off her. Sudha snapped at him and pulled him inside.

Sudha was talking to Bharti's parents and Payal,Bhaskar and Bharti were in the kitchen.Payal was chiding Bharti for spilling Pepsi but Bhaskar and Bharti were laughing all the way. Payal asked her not to laugh so loudly and placed the tray of mango juice on Bharti's hand and asked her to go. Bharti so didn't want to go but Payal gave Bharti her shawl and placed it around her shoulder and asked her to go. Bhaskar winked at her and both of them sneaked to see Bharti going towards Sudha. Bhaskar and Payal wanted to see who the guy was but Bharti was blocking their view. Sudha smiled at her and Bharti naturally smiled back at her. She went towards Armaan and bent slightly towards him and looked away.Bharti was still waiting for Armaan to take the glass of mango juice from the tray and feeling irritated, finally Bharti turned to look at him.

Bharti:Excuse me, mango juice???Ya kuch aur le aao??

Armaan looked at Bharti and took the glass of mango juice.Armaan wanted to turn away but he realized the same,beautiful face with which he had fallen in love with, approximately five to six years back in Excel College.Before he could even recall the scene, Sudha asked him to drink the mango juice and just as Bharti turned away, Bhaskar and Payal saw Armaan's face.

Payal:Arre yeh...

Bhaskar:Yeh Armaan???Shucks!!!!

Payal:Yeh Men's Universe mein photographer hain na??

Bhaskar:Haan..yeh..par yeh???Aur Bharti ko maine kaha tha ki usse woh contract marriage ke baare mein baat kare...

Payal:I just hope she comes to us first and turns to us and hopefully we can stop her....

Sudha asked Bharti to stop and asked Bharti's parents to let Bharti and Armaan speak privately.Bharti was shocked for she doesn't want to but then she just recalled what Bhaskar told her-the condition of contract marriage.Bharti invited Armaan to the balcony upstairs and Armaan reluctantly went with her. As she was about to go, she looked at Bhaskar and Payal but couldn't understand their gestures and she just led the way.

Bhaskar:Payal ab kya hoga??

Payal:Wohi jo manzoore khuda hoga..Arre yaar..ek minute..Agar Bharti ne..

Bhaskar:Contract marriage ke condition ke baare mein uss Armaan ko bata diya toh..

Armaan went to his cabin and started working on the photographs he took yesterday. Just then Jiya came by and saw him lost in his thoughts.

Jiya:Kaha khoye huwe ho??

Armaan:Good morning Jiya...

Armaan told her of how Bharti had spilled Pepsi all over him and then of the conversation between him and Bharti and the contract marriage. Jiya was totally shocked.

Armaan fell back in his chair and smiled, thinking of his college days.It was his second or third month at college and he was just walking with his classmates. Armaan excused himself for he needed to get a drink. However he didn't realize that he was about to fall while walking on muddy waters due to the rains. Just then a girl held him and pulled him with both of her hands and pulled him to stand straight. Armaan couldn't take his eyes off her. Her dark brown curls suited her fair complexion and he just gazed into her eyes but she kept waving to him and eventually snapped at him and asked him if he's alright. Armaan simply nodded and then she smiled and left from there. She wore a long red top and black, studded jeans. Armaan just turned to see her go and he realized that he hadn't said Thanks to her and he shouted to her and Bharti turned. Bharti smiled and went away while Armaan stood there till her image faded into the surroundings.

After that Armaan saw her several times playing basketball as she was very much involved in sports and she was perceived to be an all-rounder, which was impressive in the first few months of her college life itself. Guys used to go behind her but she didn't give them her attention.

Jiya just looked at him, smiling but her smile faded when he snapped at her.

Jiya:So you're still in love with her??

Armaan:No, not after what she had done to me at college and it was such a super coincidence that I've met her after a long time..And now it's perhaps the perfect time for a sweet revenge..

Armaan:Some other time Jiya...Shall we go for our fashion shoot?

Jiya:Chalo....par ek minute..what are you going to tell her???

Armaan dialled Bharti's number during lunch hours after his photo-shoot but she wasn't picking up. He kept calling her but Bharti's phone was on silent mode.Finally Bharti called back and Armaan switched on the loudspeaker mode for Jiya to hear.

Bharti:Hi..Who is this??

Armaan:Hi it's Armaan here..

Bharti:Oh hi..actually my phone was on silent mode..so what is the call for??

Armaan:To tell you I've consented to your condition

Bharti:WHAT??

Armaan:Yeah..the rest of the details will be discussed by my mom and your parents...I've not told my mum about the condition so you don't have to worry about anything.

Bharti:WHAT? I mean are you serious?Look I don't wish to force you in any way or ruin your life in any way...

Bharti:Hello..Hello??(hung up) Oops sorry..(realized that she was in the library and practically shouting on top of her voice and quickly went outside with her books)

Bharti was lost in her thoughts.She was wondering why Armaan even said Yes to her in the first place.She was much more confused. She thought that Armaan would say No to her but he had said yes instead.She taunted herself for listening to Bhaskar's idea and called him and informed him of Armaan's reply. Bhaskar was having lunch with Payal and he almost choked and informed Payal of Armaan's decision. She was taken aback but she smiled for Bharti's problem was solved somehow but all that didn't matter to Bharti for she knew there is some strange reason behind Armaan's consent to the condition she had laid before him but both Payal and Bhaskar coaxed her and managed to bring a smile on her face, telling her that now her problem is solved and there's nothing to worry about and Bhaskar told her that he'll ask Ashish to prepare the contract papers by tomorrow or the next day and they hung up.

Jiya was watching Armaan during their fashion shoot but she recalled about the fact armaan told her that he had agreed to Bharti's condition just to take revenge on her.But Jiya couldn't fathom what Bharti could have done to make Armaan so pissed off with Bharti for according to Jiya's perspective, Bharti sounded real nice and jovial.She's waiting for their work to be completed for the day so that she could ask him about it. Just then Armaan looked at Jiya and Jiya just smiled.Armaan knew that Jiya had something in her mind and he decided to clear her doubts after their work.

On the other hand, Bhaskar met Ashish and got the contract papers ready and both of them were going through the contract papers again and again just to make sure that everything is perfect.Ashish wished him luck and Bhaskar told him not to tell anyone about it and went off. Along the way he called up Bharti and decided to meet her at Rock's to discuss about the contract papers.

Jiya and Armaan were on their way home.

Armaan:Baat kya hai Jiya..Tumhe evening se notice kar raha hoon...Tumhe kya jaanna hai??

Armaan told Jiya everything and she was totally taken aback. She stopped walking and Armaan saw her having stopped and turned back. Jiya ran to him and asked him if he really believed that Bharti could do such a thing to him but Armaan asked her not to ask him anymore and he just walked away.Jiya realized that no matter what she's going to tell Armaan, he's not going to listen to her and hence she bid Goodbye to him and left from there.Armaan turned but before he waved, Jiya was already gone from there. He felt angry, recalling how he had been sleeping one night at the college hostel and he had been shaved bald by some guys as an act of ragging and he had to bear this humiliation for almost three weeks. At the point of time, one of his classmate had to bear a similar insult and the students around him had been passing the rumours that Bharti had done this to several students and she has been involved in such acts before. Armaan was disgusted hearing such news and had believed the rumours to be true.

Armaan kept his composed look and went inside his home and Sudha gave him the good news that she has fixed the marriage for next week.

The next day,Bharti went to Men's universe to meet Armaan.Bharti knocked on the door and Armaan looked up and saw Bharti in a black haulter-neck dress, just like he had seen her 6 years back.Armaan asked her to come inside and Bharti gave Armaan the contract papers and asked him to read everything carefully and sign them.Armaan asked her if she needed anything to drink but she gladly refused and waited till Armaan read everything and signed the papers. Bharti looked at him in confusion.

Armaan:You ok???

Bharti:Huh??Sign kar liya tumne??

Armaan:Yeah...Just check one last time

Bharti flipped through the papers one more time and was really surprised to see Armaan's signature on the papers.Bharti looked at him again and was still confused.

Bharti placed the papers in her bag and she left to go. Just then Bhaskar spotted her and Bharti informed him that Armaan had signed the papers already. Bhaskar asked her to keep the papers safely and Bharti agreed. Bhaskar looked at her and congratulated her. Bharti just smiled for a while and then her smile faded. Bhaskar winked at her and Bharti wondered what he's up to and he pulled her hand and brought her to the foyer and asked everyone to gather and announced to everyone that his bestest friend, Bharti is getting married next week and he's giving a huge party tomorrow for his bestest friend. Jiya and Armaan looked at each other for they didn't know that Bharti is Bhaskar's great friend.Bharti saw Armaan and just smiled at him but Armaan just went off and Bharti figured out that it must be because of seeing Bhaskar with her. Bharti left to meet her friend at university.

Jiya went to talk to Armaan about the photographs and they were discussing and both of them couldn't agree to editing the photographs to make them perfect.Just then Bhaskar knocked on Armaan's cabin door.

Bhaskar:May I come in??Or did I come at the wrong time???

Both Armaan and Jiya looked at each other and Jiya gestured him to keep mum while she will handle Bhaskar.

Jiya:Yea Bhaskar what's the matter??

Bhaskar:Actually aaj raat Bharti ke liye party rakh rahi hain hum log...So i'm inviting you guyz..So do come!!

Armaan:Thanks for the invite but we aren't coming!!

Armaan informed Sudha that he's going to a party with Jiya and he might reach home late.Armaan and Jiya reached the discotheque to see lots of people and Bharti has just reached with Payal and Bhaskar. Bhaskar has decided to treat everyone and announced the drinks on the house.Armaan rolled his eyes for he knew the party freak Bhaskar really well.Armaan turned to look but Jiya was nowhere near him. She came to him with a drink and Armaan was shocked. Armaan took the glass from her but Jiya took it back and told him that it was just fruit punch and she teased Armaan for being so foolish to think that she will drink.Armaan hit her head and Jiya was about to hit his head too but just then there was a loud applause for Bharti as Bhaskar pulled her to the dance floor and made her drink. Bharti almost choked and Payal came to her rescue and stopped Bhaskar. Just then, there was music being played in the background and Bhaskar, Bharti and Payal were dancing to the song,"10 on 10".

Over the next few days, the marriage preparations were going on and Bhaskar and Payal were thinking of getting Bharti a wedding dress but Bharti simply refused and asked them if they were going to shop for her and waste their money for it's just a contract marriage and she might as well use Payal's wedding saree instead. Initially Payal was against the idea but Bhaskar convinced her.Finally the day of Armaan's and Bharti's marriage is here.

Jiya got Armaan ready while Payal and Bhaskar got Bharti ready.Both of them sat, feeling really awkward. Both of them didn't look at each other but looked towards their best friends for moral support at the step they were going to take together.
