CHAPTER 4

DEAL bREAKER

Sujal still didn't understand how exactly had he landed in front of the infuriating woman with his hand bleeding…. The order of event and decisions was just bizarre.

He had gone from wanting to strangling her neck and torturing her, to kissing her senseless at her first sight and then back to killing her and giving her up to the police, to now with a bleeding agreement between them.

What the hell had happened? Her voice, her sight, her manner, his mind, hi body, his logic… all had participated in dooming him to this decision. Since the woman had no modesty, he had to agree that she was good a cracking his designs, since she was clever she didn't tell him how but bargained the info for money and time. Her exact words had been

"Mr. Grewal.. If only u can see what I see. U kill me..Well I don't think u r capable of that appealing to your kind nature. U torture me and let me go… I come back with vengeance and drive u to suicide. U give me to the police… well I won't be there for more than 3 years.. And when I come out.. There will be my prison friends who would want a piece of action for u… so… u don't have many choices.."

Sujal had argued that the sentence would b more than 3 years and she had told him that if not personally he would still tell anyone who would listen about how to rob him.

So… here he was with the settlement.. 6 months…. In 6 months she tells him all she knows about him and how she managed to rob him so many times… 6 months she will tell him how to foolproof his designs and make new ones which no thief can crack.. 6 months she would stay here in this penthouse and not contact any of her friends and not tell anyone of their agreement.... 6 months he will pay her a million for her service and treat her with respect

After that she would never bother him and she goes scot-free. He won't tell any1 about her.

Ques: how do we trust each other after and during these 6 months to stick to our side of bargain?

Sujal thought by having a written contract and signed by both.. It will be his secret to hide in a vault. She thought different.. Oh so differently

Sujal winced as he removed the blood soaked napkin from his hand, the blood had finally stopped flowing… she had thought that she didn't want to sign her name anywhere, she didn't want to appear in court with such an incriminating contract, she had a simpler solution, a solution which has been adopted since centuries.

They spoke there terms in from of the fire place, clearly and precisely and shook hands on it. Trusting the other to keep their promise and as deal breaker well… she had suddenly cut his unsuspecting palm caught 2 drops in a wine glass added her own 2 drops , mixed with wine and offered him to drink half the glass.

Ans: we tell want we want and we trust the other person to follow the deal. Since we don't trust the devil inside eth other person, we drink blood wine. If one person breaks promise then other is allowed to draw blood…

Sujal shuddered again and left the penthouse and the grinning witch inside it. That way of agreement was certainly terrifying. One can hope to get away in court using good lawyer, but u can't get away from a personal demon thirsty for your blood. Coz if ever any one of them broke the promise the consequence would be bad and the other person would indeed be left with nothing but a desire to kill the deal breaker.

CHAPTER 5

||P|R|I|S|O|N||

Sujal couldn't help shuddering whenever he thought of their arrangement… It just didn't seem right.. It was… Barbaric….

He wasn't sure if he could kill her if she corresponded to one of her friends just for some fun… Or if she tried to escape again…. It hadn't been easy for him to catch her and if she escaped they would be back to square one…. This just didn't seem right.

Sujal wrote an invite and dropped it off at his pent house… They have to discuss a few more things before he believed they even have a deal…

Sujal waited at the roof edge looking down 20 floors… He wondered if she would suddenly come and push him over… It would all be so simple… She can kill him any times she wants…

"Is there something very interesting down there Mr. Grewal?"

Sujal turned around and forgot how to breathe… How in hell did she manage to look like that? Find that dress?!!!!!

The woman knew he had surprised him by her appearance… She had taken extra pain for it.. It hadn't been easy to order a dress from the room… To buy makeup and hoes at that short notice… He darn well better be impressed!!

"Something wrong Mr. Grewal? you r awfully quite.. It's quite unlike u…"

Sujal slowly concentrated on breathing normally and recalled the mental image of her tied to the chair of her stealing from him…There much better…

"I was just wondering how you got that dress.. you do remember you r not supposed to contact your old friends…."

"My friends don't sell or arrange dresses Mr. Grewal… you don't have o kill me for this dress.. I called up the shop and told them to deliver the dress to my room of course I had to put it on your tab.. I didn't have cash with me with then.. you can cut that from my salary…"

"I will.."Sujal motioned for hr to sit and seated himself in front of her..Ok now talk business before getting more distracted…

"Cut from your salary… Now perhaps you can tell me what name shall I open the account for?"

"I told u.. Tracy"

"This is not a joke! Where you role play some character. I need to produce proof of that name at the bank"

"Oh!! So you have read the book hmmm? Interesting… What else do you read…. And as far as the banks are concerned... Stupid, of you to still doubt my intelligence… I am not giving you any proof of who I am."

"So you are not going to tell me who you really are? It not fair.. You know who I am."

"Welll.. I can't tell you my real name… but I'll cut you some slack…"

Sujal leaned forward with interest…She is opening up finally… Maybe this is the way to get her to do things.. Being polite and nice… What a Headache!!

"I'll be whoever you want me to be…" The woman smiled charmingly at him.

Sujal curled his fist under the table and controlled his expressions, "I want you to not exist .. I don't think that is possible.."

"Well then how about you calling me whatever u want.. give me a name?"

"I can call you something bad, terrible sounding"

"Well you'll be the only one calling me that name… So you will be making all the terrible noises…"

Sujal leaned back exhaling a long breath. He gave up. There is no winning with her. Only compromises…

"Forget it… just pick a normal name yourself… Tell me how you got into your business"

"Oh thanks for the offer…How about Mata Hari?" she smirked.

"Whatever you want.. You didn't ans my ques." Sujal gave a noncommittal shrug.

"I am not obligated to ans your ques." She said looking a bit angry, but then returning to a more cheerful expression she said with a flirty voice, "Or you can call me Crystal… That was your last gf's name right?… You spent quite some time with her…"

Sujal almost choked on his drink… How much does she know about me?.. Why the hell does she know who I dated last? Oh my god!! I hope Crystal isn't her buddy and they both planned it all.

"So you want to be my gf? Or is it that you are jealous?"

The woman's eyes widened with surprise but she laughed it off then. "Why would I be jealous or want to be your gf?"

"U tell Me, you suggested it..", Sujal said and gave her a complete look up, letting her know he was considering them being together and what she would look like then….

The woman looked even more unsettled and Sujal smiled internally so she didn't know him completely after all…But it matter as he didn't know her at all…

The woman finally smiled and leaned forward… All traces of anger and disbelief gone from her face… She gave Sujal a seductive look and said, "Like what you see Mr. Grewal? Want to take me up on my suggestion? It think it would be quite an experience being with u…I never did a honest multi-millionaire before who looked half as good as u…. I think it would great…one of my bests I am guessing.."

Sujal sucked in a breath as several inappropriate images involving them both flashed through his mind. A chilling wind helped him settle back… Thank god I chose the roof top.. If we had been in the room and she had made that offer…. Sujal shuddered and changed the subject, "Whatever.. So how do I know you won't run away?"

The woman laughed at his reaction.. She had correctly called his bluff.. I wonder when he would call mine

"Didn't I say you can kill me if I run away.."

"And how would I find you to do that , when this has been difficult enough?"

"Well then you can devote your whole life to finding me. Think of nothing else but me. Morning , noon and night only about me, me and me… "

Sujal swallowed his food with wine and thought of another topic… I am already thinking too much about her and in ways I shouldn't.

"U said you liked books… What do you like to read?" Sujal said guardedly, if she named some X-rated author he would go raving mad and give her a taste of what she is talking about.

Finally a nice topic… I can talk all I want without revealing anything of myself.. The woman smiled the first genuine smile and launched into a happy monolog of her preferences, tastes and opinions..

Surprisingly Sujal too joined in.. They had same taste.. But such different theories, interpretations and ideology…

Both had fun talking, arguing and finally accepting each other's views on literature and world…

The woman didn't even notice when the time had flown by… They had talked for 2 hrs and she cud still talk to him for the entire night.. This is not good.. I shouldn't get interested like this…

"I am tired… you think we can go now?" she faked a yawn and gave Sujal sleepy eyes..

And Sujal had vision of what she would like when she would wake up.. her eyes sleep ridden… Her hair all tangled and messy… Her face bare of all pretenses and make up… Looking at him smiling at him.. Great!!!! One look and you have already slept AND spent the entire night with her!!!!!

"Ok… How about a dance then before we leave?" Sujal raised his eyebrow

Good! Now she genuinely looks surprised…. Hell I am surprised myself!! Why the hell am I asking her for a dance!!!!!

"I would have said yes any other time… But my ankle has not recovered and I don't want to stress it… sorry…"

Sujal cud swear she looked genuinely sad ….. I am an idiot!! She is an Oscar winning performer. She doesn't want to take the chance of me strangling her during the dance…

"Alright then one last toast… Let's hope that we work amicably for the next 6 months and hope our paths or actions never cross each other's again after that…" Sujal filled two glasses and handed her one.

The woman clinked her glass to his and nodded with a small smile… One can always hope of having a house in clouds..

The woman woke with a throbbing head.. I don't suppose I drank that much last night… But her hands ached too… It was when she tried to move, that she realized that she had been tied up.. Again… On the bed, this time. Her hands were bound to the bed post and no one was present for her to yell at.

Why that bas***d!!!! He acted all so nice and 'how about a dance…'#$@^!^Y#%&!%^%^!%~$%$%

I would swear to ruin him, but I can't… I have sworn to help him these 6 months…But I can after that.. And I'll make sure he doesn't have easy 6 months. I am gonna make him beg for his sanity!!!

The woman shifted and adjusted her body in a comfortable position.. It wasn't very easy with her hand tied like that…. That !$#%#$%!# better come soon!!!

As if on que Sujal entered the room. A fake good-morning smile pasted on his face. She cud see how he hard he was trying to not to smirk and look gleeful….huh!! Feeling manly after tying up a drugged woman.. Real powerful…. What a masochistic @$!$%@!$%...

"Good morning….. Ash…"

"Ash?" I am gonna be stuck with This name?!!!

"Small for Ashley… You definitely burned every business venture of mine that you touched.."

Wait till I touch and burn you!, "Fine whatever… Oh! So you like having fire play with BDSM hmm?"

Hahaaahaaa… Watch This.. Not so cock sure of yourself now, are you Grewal? Never would have thought I would say something like this.. you looked marvelously scandalized… Tie me up again and I just might flash you too..

Sujal cleared his throat and moved stiffly towards her. His face a stone mask..

Alright this was a joke… Why is he taking that cuff sort of steel band from that packet?...

She watched as he took the steel band and moved towards the end of the bed. The woman tried hard not to move away from him.. If this is what he wants… I don't have much of a choice do I?

Sujal placed the steel band around her right ankle and tightened it with a screw… "Is it too tight?"

"Does it matter?" As if you care if I die right now…

"Well I don't want you to have a sore ankle for the next six months.."

"Nex-… 6 MONTHS?!!!!! Why the hell am I gonna be wearing that shit for the next 6 months" , the woman yelled at Sujal, cracks appearing on her calm composure…

Sujal momentarily looked speechless but then smirked and said "yess, six months.. you are going to wearing it, coz I want you to wear it and coz you can't take it off.. Only I have the key.. And it's a lock you can't open as yet.."

The woman furiously lathered her leg again while trying to slip the metal clasp off… Sujal had placed GPS device on the band which would inform him if she went out of the room and constantly gave off her position… It was waterproof, strain proof and crook proof….

But that's what he said…. HAH! He said that his security was burglar proof too.. There has got to be a way to take this damned thing off without His damned key!!!

The woman continued to work with the clasp until her leg was red swollen but the wireless prison still remained on her leg…
