Silence

"Why is she talking to him...like...like he is some sort of a celebrity?" Raaj slammed his locker shut as he recalled Sue talking to Armaan in the corridor.

"She was talking to him...but why are you getting jealous?" Naina whacked Yuvi's arm lightly with a smile while Yuvi smirked in response.

"I am not jealous!" Raaj grumbled as he took his spot on the bench in the middle of the locker room.

"Sure and Dr. Shashank has just appointed me the head nurse of Sanjeevani!" Jiggy fixed his glasses from one hand as he high fived JP from the other.

"Waise...you should be glad that Sid bhaiyya is not here...imagine him finding out that a drug addict is in love with Sue pholwerji!"

Yuvi suppressed his laughter by hiding his face in Naina's hair...which obviously sent both of them to their private dreamland.

"You're all are idiots and love birds get yourself a private area...we don't want to see Romeo and Juliet here!"

"Raaj, no need to snap on use...you're the one who is too afraid to admit that you have feelings for Sue!" Yuvi looked at Naina admiringly as she gave a cold stare to Raaj.

"Naina...I am not in love with her!"

"Beta, it will be really good for your health if you are in love with Sue and not anyone else!" Yuvi looked at Naina as he warned Raaj.

"Shut up dude! I am not interested in Naina anymore...she is sweet and hot...and se..." Raaj quickly ate his words as Yuvi pounced on him like a hungry tiger.

Yuvi with full force punched Raaj on his right cheek and was quick to duck when Raaj raised his fist to meet Yuvi's face. But he wasn't lucky the second time around, since Raaj managed to punch Yuvi in the stomach. Everyone present in the locker room tried to stop the two overgrown brats from fighting while they continued to hurl punches at each other.

"What the hell is going on in here?"

No response...still fighting...

"STOP IT!"

Everyone turned toward the sound in a statue position...Naina's arms were around Yuvi...while Yuvi was holding Raaj's collar who in turn was in the middle of delivering a punch to Yuvi...as JP helped a fallen Jiggy.

"What in the world are you all doing?" Armaan gave them his best strict look

"None of your business!" both boys responded simultaneously

"Excuse me?" Armaan walked up to them to try to scare them but they stood their ground.

"Dr. Armaan is our senior...behave yourself!" Sue walked into the locker room and stood beside Armaan.

"Oh, look who is here! Our favourite doctor's most favourite intern!" Raaj picked up his bike keys that had fallen during the fight and proceeded to walk out of there.

"Dr. Raaj, what is that supposed to mean?" Armaan placed his hand on Raaj's shoulder who immediately jerked it off.

"Isn't this great? When I am talking to you...she answers and vice versa!" he gave them a smirk and was responded with a smirking Armaan and bemused Sue.

"Looks like a certain green-eyed monster has come for a visit!" Raaj gave an angry stare to Armaan while the rest of the gang besides Sue suppressed their laughter.

"Don't worry, Dr. Armaan! I am not jealous of Sue...I am not interested in becoming your favourite intern!"

"Oh...I wasn't talking about my favourite intern...but maybe about Romeo and Juliet!"

Raaj just shook his head and walked out of the locker room without a word.

Sue didn't know why...but her legs automatically made her follow him outside. She caught up with him as he got ready to start his bike.

"Um...Raaj...I have night duty today!" Sue tried to look confident but she failed especially since she had no idea what she was talking about.

"And you're telling me this why?" Raaj got up from his bike as Sue moved because of the close proximity between them.

"Oh...well....we usually have duties together...so I thought we might have one today too!"

"Didn't you see the work board...your Dr. Armaan does not want me anywhere near you so he decided to relieve me tonight!"

"He is not MY Dr. Armaan!" Sue gave an angry stare to Raaj which was mutually responded.

"Well...you jerk around with him a lot!"

"Watch your language, Raaj!"

"I just need to watch my language...you, on the other hand, needs to watch yourself!"

Sue wanted to respond to that statement rather harshly but instead she opted for a deadly look. They both stared at each other for few seconds...or maybe even minutes before Raaj broke the stare.

"Why do you care if I "jerk" around with Dr. Armaan?" Sue knew that his answer would be demeaning but she couldn't stop herself from asking that question.

"I don't know...I just don't feel right when I see you talking to him", Sue's expression softened as she heard Raaj speaking to her gently.

He was looking at the floor...barely whispering his response...the facade of toughness and indifference seem to have vanished as they both contemplated the change of situation in mere silence.

"After he found out about Sid and Riddhima bhabhi...I wanted to support him...show him that despite everything...he had friends. I am sorry if you think that there is more to this...but there isn't and there isn't going to be any either!" to end the awkward situation, she turned around to walk back inside but felt herself being slammed into a strong chest.

Raaj didn't know what took over him as he grabbed her hand and pulled her toward him. They both stayed in that position in silence before Sue's pager rand and he let her free. He stared at her retreating figure for as long as he could before getting on his bike and leaving.

"Riddhima...let go of my hand!"

"Sid...you swore on me that you're not going to say anything!"

"Yes, but I never said that I am not going to do anything either!"
