i just read the entire story!!!

UPDATED: Part XVIII

Scene: Mayank's Flat

At around 9 pm

Nupur picks up the phone to call Mayank………….

N: Hello……… Mayank kahaan ho………

M: Bas wo office mein aaj thoda zyaada kaam hai……. issliye……tum pareshaan mat ho bas ek-aadhe ghante mein nikal raha hoon………..

N: Theek hai……. jaldi aana main tumhaara intezaar kar rahi hoon……

M: Tum khaana kha lena……… mera intezaar mat karna………..

N: Aan haan……. Theek hai jaldi aana………

One hour passed…….. Angel also slept in Nupur's lap…….. Nupur too was feeling drowsy……… She places her in the cradle and comes back to the dining table……. She was waiting for Mayank…….. and slept there only with her head down on the table…………

After half an hour Mayank comes…… he opens the door…….enters……. and sees that Nupur was sleeping there only………. Because of the wind her hair were coming over her face………. Mayank remembered the night before exams…….. Nupur was looking same…… innocent…. Calm……relaxed…..

He slowly steps forwards….. sees that Nupur has not taken her dinner……… He then moves towards Nupur……..trying to remove hairs on her face that were disturbing her sleep……… Nupur gets up………

N: Arre……..tum kab aaye Mayank………. mujhe uthaaya kyun nahin……

M (smiling): Bohot sundar lag rahin thi…….sote huye…… issliye…….

N (blushing): Accha……chalo fresh ho kar aao……… dinner is waiting…….

Mayank-Nupur are sitting on the dining table………

N: Aaj bohot zyaada der kaise lag gayi……….

M: Wo Mr. Sehgal hospitalized hain to Samrat wahin tha………..to mujhe saara kaam sambhaalna pada……..

N: Ab kaisi hai unki tabiyaat……….

M: Theek hai…..par doctors keh rahe hain kuch complications ho sakte hain………

N: Bhagwaan kare bas sab kuch theek ho jaaye……

M: Tum kyun pareshaan ho rahi ho……sab kuch zaroor theek ho jaayega……..

N: Ek baat batao………itni der raat tak akele office mein kaam rahe the……..

M (while eating his food): Nahin Indu was also there……..

N (in astonishment): Tum dono akele the……….

M: Haan………. Kaha na……..

He drinks water and sees Nupur's expressions……… she was looking at him like….ahmmm….

Mayank knew how to tease her……… He understood Nupur is taking it in wrong sense……

M: Kya hua…….. kuch galat kiya maine….

N (in anger but suppressing it): Nahin….. tum kyun kuch galat karoge……. Jitni marzi aaye……der raat tak ghar se bahar raho….. kisi ke ssath bhi ghoomo…..mujhe kya…….. and she Smiles angrily……

M: Tumhen bura laga main Indu ke saath tha……..

N (again smiles angrily): Nahin mujhe kyun bura lagega………..

And she goes to the kitchen snatching the plate from Mayank's hand…….

In the kitchen she is moving the utensils in anger………

Mayank reaches there………..and sits on the slab of kitchen……

M: Tumhein bura nahin laga to bartan kyun patak rahi ho…….

N: Main bartan patak rahi hoon……. to theek hai tum karo kitchen ki safaai…….

Then Mayank goes and hold her from her back…….

N (very angry): Chodo mujhe…….. (and she removes Mayank's grip and leaves)

M: Accha ye toh batati jao…….. tumhein kya main GAY lagta hoon……….

Nupur turns around and asks Kyun……..

M: Kyunki……shayad tum issi baat par gussa ho……..

N: Matlab……….

M: Indu matlab Indrawardhan Ghanshyam Das Gupta…….. matlab humaare office ka clerk……… usska naam itna lamba hai na…… toh sab usse Indu bulaate hain…….

Nupur smiles…….. a big one of satisfaction but she didn't wanted that Mayank should understand that she was interpretating it wrongly………

N (minimizing her smile): Haan to theek hai………. maine poocha kya Indu kaun….. aur tum Gay...........

She enters into the bedroom and closes the door……….Then she sneaks out and says: Nahin ho…………..

Mayank smiles on what happened in last few minutes………..

Scene: BhushanMansion

Uday arrived lately……… He sees that Shilpa is sitting on the couch and reading magazine……….

U: Maa……. Tum ab tak jaag rahi ho……….

S: Tera intezaar kar rahi thi beta………..

U: Kuch kaam tha……

S: Beta aaj jab main hospital gayi…….. to Samrat ki maa ne kaha ki wo chahti hain ki Samrat aur Gunjan ki shaadi ho jaaye………

U: Ye toh acchi baat hai…….

S: Par beta…… pichli baar bhi aisa hi hua tha…. Adhiraj ke saath……

U: Maa wo baat ab puraani ho chuki hai…….

S: Par beta ye humaare business aur usse zyaada Gunjan ki zindagi ka sawaal hai……. hum kaise unhein aise hi haan keh dein…….

U: Gunjan ne kya kaha aapse…….

S: Wo to khud hairaan rah gayi ye sab sun ke…… abhi maine iss baat ko zyaada badhaawa nahin diya hai……. main tujhse baat karna chahti thi……teri kya raaye hai…..

U: Mere hisaab se maa……. Sehgals is a nice family……aap to mill chuki ho…. Hamaari Gunjan wahaan khoob khush rahegi……… Samrat ke baare mein……. Haan Mayank se baat karta hoon…… wo to kareeb ek saal se uske right hand ki tarah kaam kar raha hai…….. wo humein acchi tarah se bata sakta hai…….

S: Ye sahi hai beta…… par aisa karte hain kal Sunday hai to sabko lunch par bula lete hain………

Next morning…….

Mayank was sleeping and Nupur came out of the bathroom……. When phone rings…..

S: Hello Nupur…..

N: Chachi namaste……..

S: Namaste beta…… main ye keh rahi thi aaj Sunday bhi hai aur bohot din ho gayye tum sab ko dekhe huye……. Toh aaj lunch sab ek saath karte hain….. yahaan ghar pe….

N: Aap lunch ki formalty kyun kar rahi hain…… hum aise hi aa jaayenge milne…..

S: Teri shaadi ho gayi hai toh isska matlab hai…..mujhe samjhaayegi….. meri sun aur tum sab log jaldi se ghar aa jaao…….

N: accha theek chachi…… accha Namaste…….

Nupur then puts off the receiver and goes into the kitchen to prepare breakfast……

She then goes to wake up Mayank……..

N: Mayank utho……. Kitna soge……Utho na……

Angel was sitting on the bed beside Mayank….she was playing……..

Angel starts patting Mayank with her little-little hands: Paa…pa..pa..pa..paaa…papa…..

Maynk wakes up and sees that it was her Angel…….. He takes her in his hand and kisses her on her cheeks…….

N: accha hai…….. ab roz subah papa ko papa ki pari hi uthaayegi……..

Mayank starts playing with her……..

N: ab tum isske saath mat khelne lag jaana……. Jaldi se naashta kar lo phir chaachi ne ghar par bulaaya hai lunch ke liye……..

M: Yes mam……. Jaisa aap kahein………

Scene: BhushanMansion

In the afternoon all three of them reach Bhushan Mansion……….

N&M: Namaste chachi……….

S: Aao aao beta…….welcome………

Shilpa takes Angel in her arms……..

S: Aur meri gudia rani kaisi hai……….

Gunjan too comes and hugs Nupur……..

M: Kabhi humse bhi gale mill liya karo saali sahiba……

G: Zaroor jiju…… aapse gale milne ka toh poora haq hai……

Then she hugs Mayank…….

S: Chalo….. ab batein baad mein karna…….pehle khana kha lo……

All of them get seated to the dining table……..

S: Gunjan beta……khana lagvao…….

G: Ji chachi…..

N: Main bhi chalti hoon Gunjan……

In the meanwhile Shilpa and Uday explains everything to Mayank about the marriage……….

M: Dekhiye…… mujhe zyaada toh pata nahin lekin….. Samrat ek suljha hua focused ladka hai….. I don't think ki he will mix personal matters with business……. Mere hisaab se toh ye ek accha rishta hai……. aur wo khud Gunjan ko maang rahe hain isse khushi ki baat kya ho sakti…… Haan par shaayad wo shaadi ki jaldbaazi karenge…… khair wo toh aap logon ko dekhna hai….. mujhe Samrat ek perfect ladka lagta hai……..

S: Uday ne theek kaha tha ki sabse acchi raye to Mayank hi de sakta hai……. aakhir here ko hi toh here ki parakh hogi na………..

Nupur and Gunjan comes in the meanwhile……..

N: Kya hua…… koi mujhe heeron ka haar dila raha hai kya……..

S: Chal Gunjan ki shaadi par tere liye ek diamond set pakka……..

N: Arre waah kya baat hai…….. Gunjan tu shaadi kab rahi hai…….

Gunjan runs fron there……….

N: Sharmaa gayi lagta hai……..

S: Haan shaayad…… ab tu hi Gunjan se saari baat kar…….

And she explains everything about yesterday………

N: Accha main usse baat karti hoon…………

In the room……..

N: Gunjan…… bhaag kyun gayi wahaan se………

G: Kuch nahin Di………

N: Ab tu apni Di se baatein chupaayegi………. Accha toone kal bhi kuch nahin bataya tha par ab toh bata de……. Tu shaadi ke liye tayaar hai na…….

G: Mujhe nahin pata…….

N: Phir wohi baat……haan ya na….. iss samay mujhe tere moonh se sunna hai……

G: Haan

And she hugs Nupur……..

N: Meri pyaari Gunjan badi ho gayi hai……. toh mujhe bata Samrat se milna chahegi ek baar…….

And they both unclasp each other……….

N: Bol…….

Gunjan nods her head in yes……..

N: Ye hui na baat……. Mujhe toh bohot bhook lag rahi hai……… chal neeche sab humaara intezar kar rahe hain………

They go downstairs……….

N: Arre Ramu kaka………. Mithaai lekar aaiye humaari Gunjan ne haan kar di hai……….

All are very happy………

Shilpa comes and hugs Gunjan

S: Khush rah meri bacchi……..khoob khush rah…….

N: Par…par….par… Bhai ladka-ladki ko toh ek doosre se milwa do……..

U: Zaroor kyun nahin bhai………

S: Main abhi phone karti hoon……..

Shilpa call at Sehgal house…….

S: Hello……. Main Shilpa Bhushan bol rahi hoon………

SM: Ji namaste…….

S: Namaste……. Ji humaari taraf se toh haan hai…….par rishta pakka hone se pehle agar ladka-ladki ek baar ek doosre se mill lete toh accha rehta…..

SM: Ji zaroor……..aaj shaam kaisa rahega………

S: Ji theek hai……….
