PART - 5

Canteen

"Yrr Muskaan chill ' I like her... whats harm in it!? Let's not make a fuss out of it!" Armaan sipped his coffee while Muskan smiled and grinned.

"Well, if you two are good with it ' then who cares" Muskan spoke, lastly getting up when her pager rang... and Riddima came in... At that moment "Hi Riddima..." Armaan smiled at her ' that she ignored completely..."Hi..." she looked straight with no emotion "Did you watched the show?" Armaan spoke again, sighing at himself. "Yes..." she answered in a monosyllables tone."Come on yrr Riddima ' she is just a friend. I don't like her in that way!" Armaan pointed out, irritatedly "Did I said anything?" Riddima spoke frowning.

"Fine ' what do you want now?" Armaan looked at her when Tina came up after placing a kiss over his cheek ' she settled beside Armaan "Look Tina ' Please stop doing this all!" pause "But... Arm..." Tina tried to speak ' when Armaan felt no response from Riddima he got up and went away.... angrily.

They were assigned a case together ' which they did quite professionally. Armaan was dying to tell her how much he wanted her in his life ' call it what so ever, attraction, love at first sight ' or err what ever.... he wanted her ' by hook or crook ' making an understatement. He began to avoid Riddima for couple of days ' though they did duties together but Armaan never talked about like he used to do...

once or twice Riddima tried to hold and catch what they missed in past days ' but Armaan would rush direct home ' not talking much to her.... eventually not talking at all....

a week went by... when she stopped Armaan and pulled him in the fire escape "Why are you ignoring me?" she asked he turned her ' banged her right on wall.. "Don't you know?" he spoke thickly, getting closer to her "nahi...." she whispered looking up in his eyes... he took a sigh "fine! Then stop bothering me" he back off angrily "But Armaan baat kya hai?" Riddima hold his wrist to reply he shushed her hands and clutched her through her shoulders getting her closer "Tum ' Tum hour meri problem....!" Armaan left her with a thud and went out of the fire escape.

Night Duty

"Armaan ' Lets go to canteen!" Riddima spoke while walking beside Armaan "Why should I bother ' go where ever, you feel like!" Armaan replied and turned to wards the stairs and went up at terrace. "armmannn !" she mumbled annoyingly...

she sighed, after taking up to coffee in her hand she went behind Armaan ' reaching up to him ' she saw , he had been standing near the railing ' viewing the view... "Armaan ' coffee, subha we have to leave for Kasulli !" she passed when he turned making coffee fall over her dress, she shouted in pain.. "I am sorry - I didn't mean to do that Riddima" Armaan tried to use his hand for cleaning it... when Riddima turned and ran down to changing room.

Locker Room

"Riddimaa Coffee?" He passed a fresh Coffee to Riddima, who was settled on the bench with bowed head. "No thanks..." Riddima replied, slightly moving his hand away. Armaan kept the coffee on the bench beside Riddimaa... and settled on floor, kneeling in front of her ' holding his ears he mumbled a sorry ' looking at her with big cute eyes ' showing her his diamond dimples... which some how melt her heart and she moved his hand away from his ears... with a small smile "its ok..." she whispered...he held her hand... his eyes locked up in hers while he brushed his dry lips over her knuckles ' in reply she gasped and got up.... feeling a striving in her body....

ho got up still looking at her ' she fumbled in her and was about to stumbled over the bench ' his instinct worked and he grabbed her through waist pulling her in his arms... embracing her - "Be careful..." he whispered in her ear ' his breathe kissed her ear, lightly... making her shrugged.. she pushed him and went out to her duty...

he smiled and sat on the bench ' and drank the coffee...

A week went by, Armaan would come from some where and would make her shiver ' and she would always be left with gasps and shivers.... they had been doing masti and Armaan's one side romance for almost a month ' while Riddima never stopped him and his stupid attics.... she was actually felt good ' when Armaan use to ask her view regarding any topic ' in the middle of discussion. Getting so much focus was the only need for a girl ' and she surely got a lot from Armaan, I would have been bad on her part, if she ignored that she had started making up feeling for him...

though on second she was more happy, to get positive vibes from family too ' they actually talked about Armaan, mostly ! One of those days, while walking along with Armaan in the corridor, she felt a tuck at her duppatta ' she tilted her head to see her duppatta rolled up in Armaan's finger and he looking at it, with a lot of interest ' Riddima couldn't help but smile at him "Armaan ?" she cocked her eyebrows . He looked up ' fumbling with the duppatta he threw it towards her "I... I was just looking at it... nice ' nice duppatta !" he spoke with a funny-nervous smile ' she shook her head and went away

Come on Armaan ! You can say it ' its time now !! its almost 6 months !! Come on dude... you can do it ! Armaan rolled his shoulders and saw Riddima standing at reception with a pen in her mouth. And reading some file..... he walked with confident towards Riddimaa... "Riddima...." he spoke... once she turned and looked at him. "haan Armaan....?" She smiled and looked at him " Can I have the pen please?" he spoke with strongly... "Huh???" she looked at him with wide eyes... "I want the pen the Riddimaa" He repeated "Ok ' take it !" she exclaimed and give to him... turning her face back to the file

"SHIT !!!" he mumbled and hit his own head with the wall beside him 'I can never do it ! I am a loser !' he thought "Armaan... Kya kar rahoo hou?" she stopped him from hitting himself... "Nothing ' I have lost it ! Bye..."

"Aree ! Ise kya hua..." she thought, and felt ditched she was thinking that he would say something 'what...?' she felt bad and went back to work '

month passed by... Armaan and Riddima's bonding grew more and more on the basis of friendship ' Riddima had started building up the feeling for Armaan.... she had soo many times thought to tell him ' but would always end up fumbling..! she didn't being a girl she thought he should propose not the other way..! she told Anjali about it ' and got the same opinion to wait for him to say it ' Though it was very much clear to both of them ! And every one surrounding but still a confession was surely needed...

"Riddimaa.." Armaan shouted ' making her stop "Haan Bolo !" she spoke, smiling at him "Riddima ' I wanted to ask, how do girls like to proposed?" Armaan walked along her to the cafe "To whom do wish to propose Mr. Malik" she grinned, and blushed a bit "Tina" he replied coolly, taking a seat

"WHAT !" Riddima stopped "come again?" she went up to him... "Tinaa!" He repeated... "Armaan you must be joking !" Riddima laughed out a bit... "No ' Riddima I am not!" Armaan looked at her serious

"Hello kahan kho gaye -? batao bhii" Armaan asked "I want to propose her ! Tell me" Armaan asked "well" she gulped the pain back through her throat "the same old way ' though it's old but still girl's wish that, who ever propose them, he should propose in the same old hind film way...!" she spoke politely "Naahh Tina ' is a modern girl ! She must be wanting something new !" Armaan told.. "Believe Armaan, mostly Girl ' prove themselves really modern ' but they wish to live that old traditional way of Proposing" Riddima told and went away to her duty...

Night At Sanjeevani :Canteen

"LIGHT OFF" Armaan shouted when Riddima stood at the entrance "Spot !" he shouted and a circled light fell on his... "Riddimaa ' would mind in coming inn" he smiled at her ' Riddima gulped in darkness and walked close to him... another light fell on her... she walked unsteadily but reached Armaan... seeing him kneeling in front of her ' holding her hand "Riddima, I have been trying to do this from last 9 months... and I really really don't want to loose you..." he pause looked at her ' and she looked back at him with a daze "I fell in love the moment I saw you ' I kept on denying it... but I really love you ' Please would you accept my Love?

Silence

"yes...." he kissed her hand ' and rolled a ring in her finger 'Promise Ring' "Its a ring ' a Promise Ring that you will find me at every corner ' when ever you felt the need !" he got up smacked his lips on her ' circling his hand around her waist ' he kissed her passionately....

pressing his palms over his back ' pulling her closer ' he deepened the kiss ' soon they broke apart ' when the lights opened up and every one clapped for them....

"At last you did it ! Armaan ' Riddima had been waiting for this day" Anjali hugged both and wished them....

Armaan and Riddima this time walked hand in hand in the same corridor.... smiling to themselves... the were about to cross the fire escape when Armaan Stopped and cocked his eyes brow, grinning ' she grinned back and he pulled her in the fire escape ' pushing her with the wall he kissed her again while her hand went over in his hair ' for deepening the kiss....

doors banged with each other and soon the door closed up while the lovers kissed each other, feeling eternity in each others arms
