Part 2:

Meanwhile at Riddhima's office :

"Riddhima Gupta, you are going to get that leave note of yours rejected so badly, that it won't even be funny! I mean, you brought it upon yourself missy... Who on Earth told you to stay up till 2 in the morning talking to Armaan? I swear, if I get that leave note accepted - let's keep the hope alive shall we? - and I reach Mumbai tomorrow, Armaan is dead meat !! "A frantic Riddhima was furiously muttering to herself while typing something hurriedly on her laptop...

As soon as she heard a knock on the door of her office, she joined her hands and muttered constantly, "Bhagwaan ji, pleeeeease leave application pass karaado..Pleeease"
She finally got up from her chair at the incessant knocking, and jerked the door open, to see one of her colleagues smiling at her.

"Riddhima, Karen wants to see you in her office right now. It's regarding your leave application." Saying so, Andy - her colleague - smiled and left Riddhima in a confused state of mind.

As Riddhima made her way towards her boss's office, lots of negative thoughts ran through her head. For Riddhima, negative thoughts always conquered her positive ones by a few inches. Even after receiving lots of advice from her fellow colleagues, friends and her parents, Riddhima couldn't help but let the negative thoughts soar in her mind. It was like she was unsure of herself, sometimes a little low on the confidence. To a person Riddhima had never met, she would come across a really confident girl, but to the people who really knew her inside out, knew that she needed lots of pampering and boosts to her confidence.

She knocked gently on the door of her boss's office, and waited for the approval from the stern voice, which was of her boss.
"Come in" Riddhima breathed in deeply, and went in after the much awaited reply from Karen. As soon as she went in, her eyes fell on Karen's table, which had her leave application right on top.

"Riddhima, from your leave application, I gather that you want a leave for 3 months, am I correct?" Karen asked, not looking up at Riddhima.

"Yes Karen that is correct", Riddhima gulped and answered with fake confidence.

"Is there any particular reason that you want this leave? That also for such a long time? Riddhima, the office needs you right now", Karen said, finally looking up, with a slightly softened tone.

Riddhima sighed inwardly and replied, "Karen, my family needs me too, I need to go. Something important has come up, that I can't avoid. I am sorry"

Karen gave in as she looked at the soft-spoken petite girl standing in front of her. She was the most hard working employee there was, and the whole office had sort of become dependent on her. She was the reason the office was so lively and running smoothly. It was true, that she had her moments of break downs, but that was the part of the wonderful journey called life, wasn't it?

Riddhima looked on happily as Karen signed her leave application. "Thanks Karen, and if there is anything you need any help with, remember, I am just an email away."

Karen smiled and nodded at Riddhima's innocent but genuine remark. Riddhima couldn't help but smile back at her boss. She didn't know why people were so scared of her. Well, there were times when she had witnessed Karen's wrath too, but most of the times, she knew it was justified. Riddhima herself was on friendly terms with Karen, but still never knew when Karen would blow her top off.

Riddhima took Karen's leave, and stepped outside Karen's office. She did a little victory dance and made her way towards her office. "Riddhima, you got the leave !!!!!!!!!! Koi kuch bhi kahe, I am definitely the best!" Once she was inside her office with the door shut behind her, she started jumping up and down like a little kid, and turned on the song from her computer on a reasonable volume. As the music of the song started, she started dancing to her heart's content while simultaneously packing her belongings, and getting ready for a 3 moth holiday. A holiday, which would be never forgotten.

Heyy everyone,
Thanks for being sooo patient, and putting up with the delay.. :)
I am sooo sorry I took so long, and the short part won't suffice, but that's all I got now, since i have exams coming, so tons to prepare..
I had a little bit free time to get this part in..
Promise there will be a long part as soon as i get the time too. :)
