This FF, so far, is amazing. Seriously, no exaggerations, trust me. From the very start, to end, this part was megafabulous. I love the way you have penned down every single emotion Armaan feels within him. The heartache, the loneliness, everything. The way that you described Armaan's first year at his high school as a blur, is totally amazing, and the way that I am analysing this is, that without Riddhima and his friends, he feels totally left out even with his "non-desi" friends, right? :).
The description of the changes taking place within and around him is beautiful, and the inner happiness described when he sees all his friends, is heartwarming. The feeling of seeing someone you can depend on in a crowd can really lighten up anybody's day.
The "narcissistic jerk" comment from Riddhima was totally unexpected, but harsh, Nobody except for Armaan himself knows his inner feelings, and all of these lands him in a vulnerable position with Riddhima even he cannot understand. I am in a confused state of mind, because I totally support Armaan's decision as well, that if he spills some feelings out, they probably will be misunderstood, given the circumstances.
Ohmygod, the sacrifice was totally Armaany di !!!!!! It made my eyes moist..How sweet is this guy? :) He gave up his moment of a lifetime, just for her sake, because he thought she deserved it. :) He deserved it too, totally.. :) and I am not just sayng this because I adore Armaan in your FF. :) The way you describe his passion for photography, does not leave any doubts in my mind as to what an amazing photographer he is. :)
Aaaaargh, Abhi is so cunning, i swear..Aww, but well, I think Armaan will realise that he is missing out on such amazing friends. who he can depend on. I love the gradual change in his viewpoint regarding this situation too. :) He keeps all her writing cut outs from the newspaper?? Awwwww, that is just soo sweet di...:) ARMAANY times two.. :)
Aww, he still doesn't let her know his inner feelings, well its too early, but still. :) I love the way he is just lieing in order to have her happy. Could this guy get any better? :P Armaany times 3

Ooooooh bheegs....you know how to bring a smile to my face after a long 'suffering' day lol! :D too much studying gets to my head, i say! i am going to be a little (more than usual) dramatic here and say......i love AR and them in your fiction. :D :D

Obviously, like you must have guessed from my exclamation, it was a good real....drama does me bad...maybe thats why i couldn't appreciate Pehchan as much but well bygones! The built up was excellent...i almost tumbled on my thoughts about ridz flipping more over armaan's lies..but then there things had to stop being difficult and start clearing up somwhere.....chess game it is...that i look forward to!

Thanks sumedha! Well, working and living with teenagers helps😉 I have tried to imagine AR as they are in DMG to how they would have been as kids...thanks for liking it so far
I started a series of letters on DMG forum instead of AR milan scene as a lot of people are writing that already...thanks for the confidence and idea😊

hmm.......their love seems to be blossoming, and i think ridz is slowly starting to recognize the softer side of armaan.....but u know what i think....i think ridz always knew that there's a softer and more selfless side to armaan, and whenever she tried to pull that out of him, armaan would just remain in denial, and therefore boost his ego even more! uff.....these boys........they're all just soo stupid i tell ya!!!!
