Smiles for you - OS8

He was sitting there looking at peace with himself. How does he manage it? The extensive work hours were getting onto my nerves! He doesn't seem very affected though. I went over to where he was sitting, he looked up and smiled - the dimpled smile. My stress reduced a bit, I'm sure people smiling can really help reduce stress (or was it his smile?). He motioned me to take a seat next to him. I did, I wasn't looking at the script, I was just fiddling with my dupatta, just then as if reading my mind, he asked me what was wrong. I looked up surprised that he had noticed, I hadn't really made it that obvious, but he always seemed to notice every single thing about me.. People tell me that he loves me..I don't know for sure though, he has never really told me anything.

I was about to talk to him, when I got a call, it was for an interview, I did give it. I was even more irritated by the end of the interview. Now he was watching me curiously. I dint say anything, finally, he asked me what was wrong. I simply said ..you . He gave me a puzzled look..I dint know what to do so I sort of vented my frustration out to him, I told him how half of every single interview I gave or conversation I had was about him. He smiled and calmly told me that I was lucky. I looked at him in surprise, what was so good about being asked about him in all my interviews? He explained with a smile that every single interview or conversation he had, was entirely about me. So, he simply said that I should be glad and started laughing. I couldn't help feeling better after this conversation, may be it was his laughter. He had this infectious laughter, hard to ignore. I grinned too. He rolled up the script and hit me lightly on my head with it and said, now thats my girl. He bit his tongue and looked bashful. I was embarrassed and as is my habit I blushed like a 16 year old love struck girl. We were surely behaving like a pair of teenagers linked together by friends.

He tried to make it seem normal by his usual set of silly jokes. I laughed too because right now I wanted to cover up my embarrassment, also, I love his silly jokes, they always bring a smile on to my face. Suddenly, I was feeling light, I laughed some more, he stopped laughing and stared at me . The idiot, he doesn't even do it subtly, he makes it so obvious. I glared at him but the stupid smile was still on my face, so it wasn't very effective. I did manage to break his stare, it changed to stealing glances. I had to laugh out aloud, this guy is just the limit, also the sweetest. Ok, why am I getting all mushy now, and why can't I just stop smiling? Its been 12 hours at work, maybe thats why I have lost it. I consoled myself that the work pressure had got to me and that is why I ended up smiling so much. Ok, thats a little paradoxical, ok, whatever, like he says. There I go again. Breaking my smiling spree he spoke up, don't smile so much when you are sitting with me, people are gonna know that you love me. I shook my head to indicate he was right. Then I looked up, realising what he had said, he had raised an eyebrow. I stuck my tongue out (Random I know, I told you, I wasn't really in my senses). He laughed at that and I laughed some more. We laughed out together after a really long time! It helped, it really helped. The awkwardness we had built up over the days seemed to melt. The easy camaraderie and friendship we once shared, that we lost somewhere along the way, seemed to stream back into our lives. Shot ready, I was told, I walked away without saying anything to him, I turned around on an impulse, he was looking at me, I smiled, he winked at me. I winked right back, I think he fell off the chair. I dint wait to see, I went right ahead to give my shot, smiling.

I felt like pulling their cheeks and saying ke admit it finally..! LOL

The cute moments...his smile...her blushing...the staring..which is never subtle..! lol

The interviews...awww...which are always about each other.!

I felt like i was peeking in a cute moment in thier lives...

oh goshhhhhhhhhhhhhhh divz,

that was one of the best OS i have ever read, how can you use words like magic, make it all sound soo genuine and real.

i lovedddddddd it, i loved how she came and sat next to him, how they discussed about the interviews and its questions. I lovedddddddd how you showed the gradual reduction of awkwardness, awwwwww the teenagers bit had me blushing as well divz and that also just like a teenager.

at times these two do behave like teens hehe, i loveeeeeeeeeee how he as his habit and so casually rolled his script and hits her on her head lightly and how he lightened up her mood and she felt better.

i know he is not hiding his affection for her hehe and at times its really obvious but then if she is happy and content then whats to worry about.

i loveeeeeeeeeee the winking bit and him falling off his chair.

i loveeeedddddddddd it even more as this time it was from her point of view or her thoughts encompassing and covering both their emotions sooooooooooo well.

😆....I don't know about them ...but this surely makes us feel better...amidst all the issues that surround them it is the simple things that make them happy and smile. I really don't know how you could imagine, but it were as if you see them when you write these. You sure do know how to make us happy. Need I say I loved it...
