Abhi: *follows niki inside* we need to talk.
Niki: Talk? Now u want to talk?! *snorts in disbelief* r u sure u didn't just come here to throw accusations and insults at me again?
Abhi: Look I know I haven't been very reasonable...but neither have u. And yes, I want to talk. If you'll just stop being so stubborn...
Niki: Stubborn! I'm being stubborn? Ur the one thats been accusing ME of being nothing more than a silly intern not worth any of your time and u think I'm being stubburn and unreasonable?!
Niki: And u know what, I don't want to talk to u anymore! I'm through with u! We have nothing left to say!
Abhi: *turns away from Niki in exasperation* r u done shouting at me, yet?
Niki: *glares* NO!
Abhi: Doesn't matter. Its my turn now.
Niki: *gapes at abhi stunned*
Niki: *turns away from abhi and sulks*
Abhi: I know that u didn't set ur friends up, Niki. And I know that u know that I wasn't playing with ur emotions either...I just want to know the truth.
Abhi: *sighs in exasperation* Niki look at me.
Niki: *refuses to look up*
Abhi: *pulls off his glasses and sets them on the side table before reaching over and gently turning Niki to face him*
Niki: *swallows hard and looks up into his eyes* Wh-what truth?
Abhi: *steps closer* whether everything between us was real or not. *whispers* Niki....what do u feel for me?
Niki: *startled* wh-what?
Abhi: These past two weeks...did you...miss me?...*steps even closer to Niki*
Niki: *stares into abhi's eyes and vulnerably whispers* Did you miss me?
Abhi: *carresses Niki's face in response* Yes
Niki: *eyes flutter shut and echoes abhi's words just as softly* Yes
Abhi: *leans closer and whispers* Do you...care for me?
Niki: *stares up into Abhi's eyes with longing* Do u care for me?
Abhi: *softly* Yes... *leans even closer*
Niki: *gently places a hand on Abhi's shoulder drawing him closer* Yes...
Abhi: *lets his eyes close and leans down towards her lips whispering* Niki, do u love me?
Niki: *slowly lets her eyes flutter shut and softly repeats the question* Do you love me?
Abhi: *brushes his nose against Niki's* I love you.
Niki: *closes the gap between their lips whispering* Abhi, I love you too.

Good ol' communication, plain, simple and straight forward always works the best (: Atul's first plan was harebrained, but he finally got wise and those were some nice words he said to Nikki there. Plus, we gotta thank Dr. Keerti for getting through to our Resident Sadu 😛 Seems like things are on their way up....
