Hi ppl......thanx a lot for ur wonderful responses n comments......i'll try to keep up to ur expectations. Here's Part-1, where nupur is just 9 yr. old. She'll grow into 19 in mayb next 2 updates!......do comment.....u can criticize also if u feel the need to do so!......njoy!

Part-1

(ND= nupur's dad)

Once upon a time in a far away kingdom there lived a beautiful girl with her widower father. The place wasn't really very far away. It was an end of a valley but looked far away because it could be barely seen frm the other side. But nupur growing up, ithe valley was her kingdom! She was her dad's best friend and he was hers! She was being brought up by a man, but still she never felt that she missed out any fun of the life!....she and her father used to go to differen places, go on long drives, paly baseball together etc. He owned the coolest diner of the valley and nupur loved to hangout there. All the workers, chefs, waiters etc. were like a family to her. Shilpa aunty was like a mother to her!

N: wow! that's beautiful.....thanx dad!

nupur, sitting under the tree at the edge of the valley, exclaimed with joy as her father gifted her a crystal ball which had a small old castle inside it with water all around. The castle appeared like a palace of a king! It was her b'day today!

her dad kissed her and hugged her.

They mounted their Mustang and he drove off!!

The general hustle bustle prevailed all around the Bhushan's....waitresses were skating around and arranging for things.

"Never let the fear of striking out keep u from playing the game!" was a line written on the reception wall of the diner. it was Mr. bhushan's thought!

A group of children sat round the table....some blowing pipes, some playing with party caps......and in the centre sat the beautiful and sweet little b'day girl, nupur, all the more excited.........they waited for the cake to be cut!

at last cake was kept in front of her with 10 candles on it! all the staff of the diner, shilpa aunty along with the customers n her dad surrounded her as she closed her eyes to wish!

Shilpa: make a wish princess!

nupur made a wish and blew off the candles followed by a round of applause and the b'day song!!

as she looked at her dad, she became sad at what she saw and hung her face down!

what she saw was dia had disbalanced and fallen into the arms of Mr. Bhushan! Both were eyeing each other and smiling......

Mr. Bhushan liked Dia Oberoi and wanted to marry her! Nupur didn't seem to be very happy with his decision but had to be, for her dad!

The newly married couple came out of the townhall hand in hand.....Dia was dressed into a white bridal wear and had a bouquet in her hand.....Mr. Bhushan wore a formal black suit!......annie and vatsala came running to their mom and new dad! Mr. Bhushan called Nupur, who was standing in a corner, for a family photograph! dia didn't like nupur to be their family member. she hated nupur!!

as the photographer said "say cheeeeeeeezzzzz"......dia dropped her bouquet in front of nupur.....but before the camera clicked she bent down to pick it up......n she was left out frm the family photo!

the photographer looked puzzled!

Dia(pushing her hair back): once enough!

it was no fairytale!

this was the beginning of the hatred of nupur for dia!! she didn't like annie and vatsala as well!!

ND: ".....he took her hand and he kissed it, then he swooped her up on his horse and the beautiful princess and the handsome prince rode off t ohis castle and they lived happily ever after!"........Mr. bhushan just finished reading out a story during bedtime and closed the book! He was almost tickling her by the end of the last line!

N( giggling): Dad do fairy tales come true?

ND: No, not exactly, but dreams come true!

N: Do u have a dream?

ND: yes! my dream is that u grow up.....n go to college...and mayb one day u'll b able to build ur own castle!

N: where do princesses go to college.....

ND: they go(scratching his cheeks).....they go where princes go...they go to princeston......but nupur u know fairytales r not just bout finding handsome princes, they're bout fulfilling ur dreams! and for standing up for what u believe in! like i always say....never let the fear of striking out...

N & ND: keep u from playing the game!

nupur giggled at this!

ND: and see if u look properly, this book contains important things which u may need to know later in life!

her dad said patting on the fairytale book!!

she nodded! he kissed her forehead!

nupur laid close to his chest when she noticed some changes in the crystal, her dad had gifted her, which was kept on the side table. there were furious bubbles coming up in the water!!.......

she tilted a bit to see what was happeneing.....her dad noticed it.......it started shaking.....then slowly everything around started shaking.....the night lamp fused and hung down.......the bed started shaking......the picture on the wall behind the bed came down with a crash!!......

ND(shockingly): Earthquake!! ...........he held her tight.....and both of them jumped down the bed and ran towards the doorway!

Precap: Dia(shouting at the top of her voice): nupur!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....nupur.....wake up!!....its breakfast time.......where's my breakfast???

hey prerna..nice part..

The characters sketch was sweet..Dia as her mom?!..lol..

n Nupur loves her dad a lot..n he loves her too..but Dia left out Nupur from the photo..aww..thats so sad..

n omg a earthquake..i bet her dad will die..and Dia will trouble her a lot..

she's aldready demanding for breakfast 4m her..ugh..

so character sketch below is for the 1st phase.

Mr. Bhushan: He's the father of Nupur Bhushan, the Cinderella of the story. He lost his wife when Nupur was a baby. He reads out fairytales to her at bedtime. He owns a diner named The Bhushan's. He is the best friend for his 9 yr. old daughter . He'll marry Dia later in this phase.

Nupur Bhushan: She is a sweet, 9 yr. old girl who lives with her father. She is her father's best friend. She listens to fairytales at night which are read out by his father from a fairytale book.

Dia Oberoi: She is an extrahealthy fashion disaster who marries Mr. Bhushan later. She is a widow and has 2 unidentical twin daughters. She hates Nupur and doesn't want her in their family.

Shilpa Srivastava: She looks after the diner run by Mr. Bhushan. She's incharge of the diner. She loves nupur and takes care of her as a mother. She's the Fairy Godmother of Cinderella in this story!

Annie & Vatsala: They are Dia's daughters. Vatsala is elder to Annie by 5 mins. Annie is thin and tall and Vatsala is fat and short. Both the daughters are dumb and total idiots and are silly like their mom!

Other side characters: They'll be introduced when they enter!
