Part-2

Nupur laid close to his chest when she noticed some changes in the crystal, her dad had gifted her, which was kept on the side table. there were furious bubbles coming up in the water!!.......

she tilted a bit to see what was happeneing.....her dad noticed it.......it started shaking.....then slowly everything around started shaking.....the night lamp fused and hung down.......the bed started shaking......the picture on the wall behind the bed came down with a crash!!......

ND(shockingly): Earthquake!! ...........he held her tight.....and both of them jumped down the bed and ran towards the doorway!

"Help!!!! Help!!!!.....", Dia was screaming for help......

Mr. Bhushan started towards her room......

Just then nupur held his hand and stopped him....

N: please don't go!!

ND: i'll be back in minutes sweety!!

Their hands just parted!!!.....

And after that he never came back......

That one earthquake shook the entire life of nupur.....

She lost her father ......her world.....

Dia took over his diner and named it "dia's"........nupur had to leave her own sweet bedroom and live in a small congested store room......and her room was given to annie n vatsala......

Because of the absence of the will of Mr. Bhushan, dia became the undisputed owner of all his property!!!.......she used to boss over the workers at the diner along with shilpa......used to spend all the money on her beautification......

She used to treat nupur as her servant......she compelled her to work in a part time job at the dia's , which was once owned by her own father, to get money for herself and also to pay her own college fees!!!......

Nupur used to do all the work of the house frm cleaning to making food.....n dia n her daughters just used to rule the house......annie and vatsala were the stupidest of the teenagers......they used to take swimming classes but could not tolerate each other..... they used to fight like hell!!!...... they hated nupur b'coz she was more intelligent and beautiful that they were...... n nupur used to hate them for the obvious reasons!!!!.....

10 years later.......

"Nupsi.......yuhoo nupsi........nupur!!!!.......nupur......wake up!!!"

Dia was shouting at nupur in a mike connected to a loudspeaker in her room......nupur was sleeping with her head on her study table......she had worked till late night!!!.......

Dia(shouting at the top of her voice): Nupur!!!!!!!.........nupur wake up......its b'fast time.....where's my breakfast???

Nupur woke up suddenly listening to her voice......scratching her head.....and startled to see the time!!! She banged the pen in her hand down and exclaimed-

N: uhmmmm........

She had slept for 1 hr extra!!!!

She immediately ran to the kitchen to get dia's b'fast ready!!!

Dia was relaxing on an armchair beside the swimming pool.....reading "The Salmon Diet"....

Annie n vatty (vatsala) were learning how to swim frm a coach.....who looked really irritated frm dia n her daughters.......

D: nupur!!

Nupur came running in the lawn with a plate in her hand!!!......

N: coming!

She kept the b'fast plate on the table.......

D: is this the salmon b'fast i asked for or is it something else!!!

N: just the best!!

D( taking a gulp of it): hmmm.....hmm.....she blabbered something bout it......

Meanwhile annie and vatty were in the swimming pool.....suddenly annie farted in the water!!.....which made vatty go all pukish!!!

V: annie......eeww!!!....gurrr!!.....mom!!

A: i haven't done it intentionally.....

V: but i'll do it intentionally.....and she pushed her inside the water frm her head!!!!

Just then the coach whistled!!!......

C: Stop it!!! Stop it!!!!

D( to nupur): what r u doing standing over here?? Get to work!!

N: dia i can't go to work this morning b'coz i have a really big test i've to study for!!!...and...

D: listen nupur!!....people go to college to get smarter....so they can get a job.....u already have a job.....so its like skipping a step....c'mon get going!!!

Nupur turned to go.....she came running to another part of lawn.....where sprinklers were on and water was spraying on her....she went near its switch to close turn it off!!

D: no honey!! Let it b open!! They're fr the grass to turn brown...

N: but its spraying water uselessly!!!!! U cn wait till drought!!!

D: drought is fr poor people!!! J lo has a brown lawn!! The people who put extra water have extra class!!!

Saying this she picked up some of her b'fast by the fork but dropped it on herself!!!

Nupur collected her books and ran to her car.....and drove off!!

In the dia's.....

Shuklaji, the chef, were roasting a fish.....

Shilpa came there asked him wht was he doing?

(SHK-shuklaji, SHP-shilpa aunty)

SHK: i'm making nupsi fish!

SHP: now its enough of nupur tht u've made.....nupsi sandwiches, nupsi burgers, nupsi pepsi......don't spoil her name!!!

He just passed a smile!!

All of them were roaming around on skates n giving people wht they've ordered!!

Nupur was also on skates collecting dirty plates and keeping them into the sink....shilpa saw her working till now.....and said....

S: nupur what are u still doing here??

N: i'm almost done!!

S: but u can't b late fr ur school!!

N: i'll get there!! Dia wants me to complete my job first!

S: i don't care bout dia when i care bout ur education....she just wants u to crack down a big rooster here....

N: but i..

S: ur dad would want u to b there not here...

N: but..

S: no more buts...u just leave dia and her big butts to me!!.....

Saying this she snatched the basket of dirty plates frm her hand....

N: thanks!!

Shilpa smiled at her.....

She went over to take her books n the bag....

She stopped her car in front of uday's house....to pick him for the college......he was her best buddy in the college....

Character Sketch-Phase-II

Nupur: she's a normal college girl.....she lives with her step mom n sisters.....she hates them......she earns her own living and college fees by working in her step-mom's diner which was once her dad's. she has only 1 friend in the college, uday. she picks him up daily fr college, princeston!! no body in the college likes her and they tease her as "the diner girl"!!!! and they treat her like one!!!...she secretely loves someone!!(that will b disclosed later in the story)!!!!

Mayank: he's a hot and happening dude of the college, princeston! he's a soccer palyer and girls drool over him....everyone wants to b with him!!....sheena, the diva of the college has a huge crush on him and is his girlfriend.....but he's not really interested in her...... he's in love with someone else(which will b disclosed later in the story)!!!! he has 2 side kicks....samrat n benji....who always be with him.......more as chamchas than friends!!!

Sheena: she's a sexy n cool diva of the college, princeston!! she is self-obcessed with her beauty!!......she's loves show off.....and is after mayank......she cn do anything to get wht she wants!!!!she's got 2 sidekicks, annie and vatsala(vatty).........they r her chamchas!!! they say ill of her at her back!!

annie n vatsala: same as phase -I....just that they've grown into more stupid teenagers......who try to get popularity by being with sheena!! they r not at all trustworthy.....they cn do anything to let nupur down!!!

samrat n benji: they r mayank's side kicks.....always b with him.....no major role to play!!

Cj: she the rj of the college. early in the morning before college hrs. start, she welcomes everybody, do chit chats, n say the national pledge!!!! she also makes imp. announcements throughout the day!!

uday: he is nupur's best and only friend in the college. he's very rich but not at all happening!!!.......his dressing sense is not good n neither r his habits!!......he's a chashmish padhaku sort!!! he's a moral n mental support for nupur!! his father Mr. Oberoi is a rich man but a good one!!

Shilpa: she's the same as phase-I. she's like a mother to nupur......she'll b playing as a godmother for nupur......the cinderella......she still working in the diner inspite of the bad behaviour of dia b'coz of nupur only!!

dia: she's the same old lady as phase-I. just that now she's open bout her intentions!!! she's too much obcessed for money!!!.......she thinks that she's the sole owner of Mr. Bhushan's property......being his legal wife!!!.......she spends a lot of money in parties, pubs, discos, beautification etc.!!!!! she hates nupur!!!! and treats her like her servant!!.......

other characters will be introduced as n when required!!!
