Part 10

After 1 week: marriage day

Mayank was really annoyed on the fact that he didn't know anything about Nupur's marriage. So he thought that he should go earlier and help for the wedding arrangement: the main point that Mayank went early is that he might get some clues about Nupur's marriage.

Mayank got ready in a brown sherwani which he looked handsome in as usual. He went to the hall where the wedding was held. It was quite early. There was only some people working but the bride or the groom hadn't arrived yet.

He turned around when he saw two people telling others what to do. They seemed nice. One of them called someone.

Person1: P1

P1: arrey, suno, do that, put those flowers there, they would look more nice, By god

Mayank was shocked to hear "by god" so he thought that the person must have something to do with Nupur.

P2: oye hello, from when did u learn ur sister's line, is it from today, because she is getting married.

P1: dude stop it!

Mayank thought that they were the right people to ask about Nupur, so he approached them

M: hello

P1 and P2: hello! Hi!

M: I am Mayank Sharma, Nupur's friend

P1: Hey Mayank, I am Uday, Nupur's cousin but like her brother

P2: I am Benji, Uday's best friend but like Nupur's friend also

M: Hey Uday, hi Benji, but you don't live with Gunjan or Nupur

U: oh, we came from London for Nupur's marriage and how about you?

M: Oh, well I come from USA but I am here to look after my business as my partner is in UK.

B: oh k, welll really nice to meet you

The trio continued to talk about business, work ' They became really good friends with Benji's, Uday's and Mayank's friendly nature.

As she looked at her memorable things she got very emotional, then she looked at other things like her and Gunjan's picture, she had tears. Finally she was about to get out of her room, she picked up her mobile and the thing that she saw made her cry badly, it was a picture of her and Mayank together, which was taken when they were in the hospital.

N: (looking at the picture) I am sorry Mayank, I didn't tell you the truth but it's for our own good.

G: Di! Are u coming.

And the bride's side left for the hall.

Nupur sat down. She didn't know why but everyone was staring at her.

S: Nupur, ur dad's last wish was that u marry Ranvijay my son, so thats why we are here.

Nupur immediately stood up.

N: Kya Uncle?

P: Yes, beta, ur dad asked us to do this as it was his last wish so we have to fulfil that, and we have discussed most things with ur aunt, we came here for a formality.

N: Excuse me uncle (she went to her bedroom and Gunjan followed). What is all this about? I don't want to get married now and to someone who I don't even know or like. Have u seen him, how he looks like.

G; Di, this is our dad's last wish and he would have done that only for our good so why don't u....

N: Gunjan, is that u, how could u think in that way

U: (entered the room) Nupur r u all right

N: Uday bhaiya, what's this about, I can't marry someone who I don't even like

U: I understand but

Nupur stood up abruptly,

N: so all of u want me to marry that unknown person! (shouting) well, let me tell u now that would not happen.

She ran downstairs, when the elders were talking

Deepak: Nupur's and Gunjan's dad

S: so as Deepak said before dying, that we would get 10 lacks if RV marries Nupur, when r u giving the check?

A: I don't care about the money; it's my Nupur's life which is more important. On the day of the marriage, Uday, my son, who is like a brother to Nupur will give u that money but my Nupur's life should be happy because that's y I'm agreeing for all this.

P: don't worry Ratna I will look after Nupur like my own daughter.

A: Thx, that's what all I wanted

Nupur heard all of this from the stairs she was dead shocked. Her aunt only wanted good things to happen to her, and it's her dad's wish so she just went to her room and explained what she heard to Uday and Gunjan.

U: So are r going to agree for this marriage

M: Come on and what happened after that?

U: well Nupur........

Samrat got ready to leave. He needed to tell someone all that had happened. Samrat sat in his car and the driver took him to the airport. There was still a long journey to go till he got to US.

He passed all the check in. Security checking and was waiting to board the plane. At once there was an announcement to board the plane. The duration on the plane was long and annoying.

Reaching US Samrat took a taxi to Shilpa auntie's house and was eagerly waiting to meet her. Samrat rang the bell.

Sh: SAMRAT BETA! What a pleasant surprise.

S: Aunty! (They both hug each other)

Sh: Come in...

They both went in and what would he tell Shilpa first he can't just tell her what had happened. But he had too.

They both sat down on the sofa when the servant bought some coffee for Samrat and Shilpa. Shilpa was wondering how come Samrat was here all of a sudden.

Sh: So how are u beta?

S: I'm fine

Sh: Kaise anna huwa?

S: wo aunty.....

Sh: haan bolo....

S: mujhe app se kuch baat karne thi

Shilpa kept quiet for Samrat to continue. Soon Samrat told Shilpa his whole story of what had happened.

S: What should I do now? These days I've started to hate girls.

Sh: Samrat u shouldn't say that. What has happened is upsetting but u should move on in life. And for girls she was the one who was a fool who couldn't understand that u are such a wonderful person. But not to worry someone very special will come to your life very soon. Now u just relax and go back to Mumbai and live ur life without any worry.

S: Thank You so much aunty. You are really a genius!

Sh: It's okay beta.

S: And if I don't go back then Mayank will kill me.

Sh: Beta, have u spoken to Mayank these days, I haven't been able to contact him.

S: oh...I haven't spoke to him either.

Samrat tried to call Mayank's mobile number and at his house but both were unavailable.

S: I'm not sure where he is but u don't worry aunty he will be fine.

Sh: I know anyway lets have dinner.

Both had dinner and did a lot of talking. Samrat was very happy now after talking to Shilpa. As he had to get back soon he booked a ticket back to Mumbai for the next day.

G: Yes, Mayank she agreed.

They all turned around and saw Gunjan staring at Mayank.

M: I am sorry Gunjan

G: It's ok, Mayank, u wanted to really know it and di didn't tell u because she didn't want you to feel sad.

M: But, Gunjan I asked because I don't like RV, I saw him in the shop and have u realised how she got hurt on her hand.

G: Mayank! What happened! Every single time after their meeting she comes hurt but what happened?

Mayank didn't want to make Gunjan feel sad so he made up one.

M: Oh, he was trying to kiss her and she got hurt.

G: Oh, that's what she said, I got really scared that something else happened. Uday Bhaiya, this is Mayank my boss, and my friend.

U: I have already met him

They were all standing together. Nupur came to the mandap, the rituals were happening. The four of them went behind the couple; Mayank was right behind in the middle of Nupur and RV. Nupur saw Mayank and she just smiled faintly, and Mayank noticed that she was not happy at all. Her eyes were red.

Gunjan came next to Mayank in the middle to hold the plate were the sindoor was so that RV can put it on her maang.

RV put his hand in the sindoor plate and slowly was taking his hand to Nupur's maang...when in the middle a hand came and put the sindoor on Nupur's maang.

Everybody was shocked, everybody turned around to face that person and it was none other than MAYANK. RV was really shocked

RV: Who r u? And what have u done, it's my marriage!

M: well, Mr. Ranvijay, I know it's ur marriage but what do want by marrying Nupur? Do u want to torture her as u did in the restaurant, or do u want to wish that she dies, and do u even love her, not at all as u love someone else. You should be ashamed of yourself and ur parents should be even more ashamed of themselves to do this for money. And poor Nupur agreed to all of this

Everyone was shocked hearing thing including Nupur. Uday came forward and took Benji and Gunjan by his side, he made Gunjan tie the knot between Mayank and Nupur, then told them to go around seven times. And put the mangalsutra. And everyone threw flowers at them.

Nupur was really happy from the inside but surprised and shocked in the outside. The panditji announced that they are married and Mayank was happy. Relatives left, the bride and groom came in the same car while Benji drove and Uday and Gunjan were in the same car. Mayank gave his mansion address to driver

Before the bride and groom got there, some of Nupur's relatives reached there and they were waiting for them to come and as they came they stopped and did the arti for both of them then let them enter. An old lady told them to go upstairs to their bedroom as they would be tired, so both of them left upstairs and the others looked around the mansion as Mayank told them that this mansion was just like theirs so they had the full right.

Nupur took her luggage and Gunjan was to stay with Nupur as before she was meant to stay with RV's family members but now here.

Nupur entered the room first, she hadn't said a single word after their marriage. She was really nervous. She wanted to get changed so she opened the hur suitcase and then she thought that her dupatta was disturbing her so she took the dupatta off and placed it on the dressing table. Mayank was outside the room talking to a woman, then she took of her jewellery one by one.Then she went to the suitcase.

Mayank entered. He saw a beautiful Nupur, without a dupatta, or jewellery on her then he thought what would she think of me. He went and sat on the bed. Nupur was looking for her pink nighty which she finally found when she heard a knock.

M: come in!

Gunjan, Uday and Benji entered, Mayank was standing near the door and as soon that Nupur realised that someone was coming she went to that dressing table to take the dupatta. (As dupatta is important to a girl) Benji saw that.

B: I am sorry Mayank, I didn't want to disturb ur private time.

M: No, it's ok Benji.

B: It's all because of u Uday

U: me? It's u who bought me and Gunjan here as u wanted to meet them

B: it's u, but I really didn't want to disturb u lot. Look at Nupur blushing so something must have happened but I disturbed, I feel really bad

Nupur was blushing because of Benji, just because she didn't have her dupatta on, he mistook everything.

Nupur came forward

N: Well Benji, who told u that u disturbed us, nothing happened (looking at Benji)

B: Ok Ok, i get it

M: wow! Nupur! When did u come back to earth? It has been literally 5 hours that officially we r husband and wife and it's the first time u talked

Nupur blushed really badly, Gunjan smiled at Nupur and so did Uday

M: Come in guys, y r u at the door?

All entered. Gunjan took Nupur to the balcony while the boys were sitting on the bed and started chatting

G: Di, mein bohot khush hoon, I can't believe this that u r married to Mayank. I feel really happy seeing u happy.

N: Me too Gunjan, I never thought that my life would change suddenly

G: same di, I never thought that too, but u r so lucky to have someone like Mayank, he was asking the rest of the story to Uday Bhaiya and Benji and that shows how much he cares for u.

N: I know Gunjan. Is ur bedroom and everything ready

G: don't worry about me di, I am perfectly fine.

Both sisters hugged while the three boys came

B: Gunjan, don't u have any idea of letting them have their night today as it's getting late.

Gunjan and Nupur smiled.

U: Benji! My sis is so sweet; I think she is giving some good information for her di, which might be useful for tonight maybe.

N: Stop it u two, Gunjan was telling me about....(stopped and started thinking).

How could Nupur say that they were discussing how nice Mayank was.

G: about my jiju

All of them laughed.

B: Gud night.. sorry.. i mean gud luck..

G: bye di

U: Bye guys

All of them left and Mayank and Nupur were in there own in their room.

Finally finished, this seems quite similar to the current track of MJHT but this was already planned. We hope that u liked it, the surprise was that Mayank would marry Nupur. The whole story is said. Hope u liked it
