Please let me know what you think, since if you guys don't like it, i won't continue.
Here's the first part.
Part 1:
"For the last time, Mr. Aggarwal, I am not in the least interested in your third grade proposal. Get it? Now please stop pestering me each time, I'm on my honeymoon for god's sake! If I get even a single call from you after this, you'll be dead meat, understand!" screamed a man in his mid twenties, looking clearly annoyed with the person on the other line. "But sir, just please this one time consider our proposal." The man on the other line tried to reason, but to no avail. The man lost his patience with the caller now. "Will you please SHUT UP? I AM NOT IN THE LEAST BIT INTERESTED IN YOUR STUPID PROPOSAL!" he yelled on top of his voice, waking up the girl sleeping peacefully on the bed with a startle. She looked nervously at her husband. "Who is he blasting this time? He really needs to learn to control his temper." She sighed, observing her husband's changing expressions from annoyance, to anger. She slowly got up, tying her hair up into a ponytail, as she moved towards her husband. "Now will you please stop pestering me?" he tried to sound calmer this time. The girl sighed again. "Samrat, haven't I told you plenty of times to learn to control your anger? You really need to join some meditation courses." The girl said softly as she placed both her hands on either side of his shoulders. Samrat looked at his wife standing in front of him, with a tired look on her face. "I'm really sorry Mr. Aggarwal, I shouldn't have yelled at you. But why don't you take the pains to understand that right now I am in no mood to discuss business, since I am on my honeymoon." Samrat spoke softly into the receiver, clearly emphasizing on the word honeymoon. He looked at his wife with an 'Are-you-happy-now' look, to which she just smiled sweetly and kissed him on his cheek. "That's like my sweet husband." She said sweetly and then turned around and headed towards the bathroom to freshen up. "Look, Mr. Aggarwal, I hope you do understand what honeymoon means, right? So, could we please continue this discussion once I return to work?" Samrat said, his annoyance reaching out of limits now. "Surely sir, do have a lovely honeymoon, and I won't pester you any more." The caller replied back, sounding a bit more relaxed this time. "Thank you, Mr. Aggarwal. Now, if you do not mind, I'd like to spend some quality time with my wife. Bye." Samrat snapped, and without another word, just hung up. He looked angrily at the phone. "Useless moron." He muttered under his breath and threw the phone on the bed. He walked up to the bathroom, and tried to open it, but it was locked. "Sweetheart, please open the door!" Samrat called out to his wife while knocking on the bathroom door. "Shut up Samrat, I'm taking a shower. Please hang on for ten minutes." She called back to him from the bathroom. "Sweets, we're married now. Why do you shy away from me even now?" Samrat asked her, his tone clearly a mocking one. "What do you mean, Mr. Samrat Sharma?" she called out to him again. "Why not I just show you what I mean, open the damn door baby!" Samrat called out, clearly getting annoyed. The girl chuckled from inside the bathroom. "Ok fine, just two minutes. I'm almost done." The girl called back to her impatient husband. "But I don't want you to be done! I want you to open the door now!" Samrat argued like a small kid. The girl simply smiled at her sometimes childish husband. She quickly wore her silk gown, and went to unlock the bathroom door. But before she could open the door for him to enter, Samrat had already pushed the door open and entered the bathroom. The girl stared at him in disbelief. Samrat had a naughty smile playing over his lips. Looking at him smile like that, the girl eventually had a smile on her face too. Samrat leaned in closer to her, backing her up against the bathroom wall. "There's no escaping now, Mrs. Gunjan Samrat Sharma." Samrat whispered into her ear. Gunjan shut her eyes tight. She slowly opened her eyes, only to find him inch closer to her. "S-Samrat, haven't we romanced enough already? Let's go out somewhere." Gunjan said, suddenly jerking him away from her. But Samrat simply leaned in closer to her again. "Babe, it's really hard to resist you know." Samrat said in a flirtatious tone. "Samrat, stop flirting and go and get ready. We're going sight seeing." Gunjan said, and pushed him away for the second time. But this time, before he could come closer to her again, she quickly went away from there. Samrat looked at his wife lovingly and then smiled to himself.
"She's a real angel." He sighed happily.
Samrat was out of the bathroom, and was busy drying his hair, when he heard Gunjan talking to someone.
"I know ma, even I'm dying to meet you. But see your insensitive son, whenever I talk to him about going to India, he's all like 'sure honey', but he never bothers afterwards." Gunjan said, her tone clearly a complaining one. Samrat was confused. He went up to Gunjan and hugged her tightly from behind. He slowly placed his head on her shoulder, and whispered into her ear. "Who are you talking to, love?" Gunjan tried to free herself from his hold but to no avail. Giving up, she simply sighed. "I'm talking to our mother." Samrat looked confused. "Ma, I'll call you up later." Gunjan spoke into the receiver and then hung up. She then tried freeing herself from Samrat's hold, which, surprisingly he let her do. She turned around to get a better look at his expression. "Silly, I was speaking to your mother. I found her number in one of your diaries, and decided to call her up and speak to her." Gunjan explained. "What! Gunjan, why did you have to call ma?" Samrat exclaimed in disbelief. "What is wrong with you Samrat? You know, you're really a very irresponsible son. You never called her up even once in all these years, never bothered to inform her about me, about us! She misses you so much. Samrat, you never spoke to her once in these 10 years? How could you be so cruel to her?" Gunjan snapped angrily. Samrat looked at his angry wife, and immediately had a puppy dog look on his face. "Sweetheart, I wanted to surprise her. I have even booked tickets to go to India. I was planning on surprising her by visiting her all of a sudden, and decided to introduce you to her the same time." Samrat defended himself. "So you see, I am not an irresponsible son. I just wanted to surprise my ma." Gunjan looked at Samrat, a sweet smile on her face. "Did you just say we're leaving for India tomorrow?" Gunjan asked in disbelief. Samrat had a wide smile on his face. "Yes I did say that. Its part of our honeymoon trip you know." Samrat replied, still smiling. Gunjan hugged him tightly. "Thank you so much. I love you Samrat." She said, and hugged him even tighter.
The next day, both Samrat and Gunjan left for India. They reached the next day, and Gunjan was really excited to meet her mother-in-law. She took her luggage and walked towards the exit of the airport. Samrat followed right behind her. Samrat had told Gunjan not to tell his parents anything about their trip, and Gunjan had readily agreed.
"Samrat, I'm really excited to meet ma." Gunjan announced for the umpteenth time, while they both sat in the taxi. "I know baby." Samrat replied, getting really annoyed now. Gunjan looked out of the window and enjoyed the breeze.
They were finally standing outside Samrat's house. Gunjan looked nervous now. "They'll like me right?" Gunjan asked Samrat for the nth time. Samrat looked really pissed off now. He didn't bother to reply. Gunjan, on not receiving any reply, looked at Samrat. "Samrat, I said, ma and papa will like me right?" Gunjan repeated, sounding angry this time. Samrat quickly looked at his wife glaring at him angrily. "Of course baby, they'll love you." Samrat reassured her, and suddenly Gunjan was back to her nervous self. Samrat slowly rang the doorbell, and Gunjan clutched Samrat's hand tightly.
A woman in her forties opened the door. She had a smile on her face, and was shocked when she saw a boy and a girl standing there.
"Samrat!" she exclaimed, and went to hug him tightly. "Samrat, it's really you! Aw, I am seeing my baby after 10 long years. I missed you so much sweetheart. Why didn't you call me even once in these 10 years? You know how worried I was?" she continued to question her son, without giving him a second's relief to breathe. She hugged him tighter. "Ma, relax. Now, please let me breathe!" Samrat complained, and his mother instantly broke out of the hug. Gunjan was glaring at Samrat for spoiling the beautiful mother-son moment. Suddenly, Samrat's mother looked up at the girl standing beside Samrat. "You must be Gunjan, right?" she asked. Gunjan smiled in agreement. She hugged her mother-in-law tightly. "It's so good to finally meet you ma." Gunjan said, clearly becoming emotional. Samrat looked at the two most important women in his life and smiled. Gunjan broke out of the hug and gave a glance to Samrat. "Samrat, don't you think we should take ma's blessings?" she asked excitedly. Samrat smiled in agreement. They both bent down to take Shilpa's, Samrat's mother's blessings. Shilpa smiled at the two of them and gently placed her hands on both of their heads, wishing them a happy life ahead. Both stood up after taking their mother's blessings. "Ma, I'm really hungry." Samrat said childishly. Shilpa smiled at her son. "Lunch is getting ready, till then both of you go and freshen up." She said. Both Samrat and Gunjan went inside the house.
They were finally done with their lunch and Gunjan looked around the house excitedly. "Who are you looking for?" Samrat asked her. "No one, I'm just admiring your house." Gunjan replied dreamily. Shilpa saw Gunjan's interest in the house and smiled. "So Gunjan, would you like to hear some of Samrat's childhood stories? I could tell you lots, you know." Shilpa said, smirking at Samrat. Samrat all of a sudden pretended to be angry, but Gunjan's eyes sparkled with excitement. "Of course ma, I would love to know how my Samrat was, when he was a little kid." Gunjan agreed. "Gunjan, you really do not want to know." Samrat argued. "Yes I do" Gunjan snapped back, and giving him one last glare, she turned to Shilpa. "Ma, go ahead." Shilpa smiled and began narrating Samrat's childhood stories. "Well, it was when Samrat and Mayank were around 5 years old, and-." Shilpa started, but was interrupted by Gunjan. "Ma, sorry, to cut in, but who's Mayank?" Shilpa looked at Gunjan, equally confused. "You don't know who Mayank is?" Gunjan shook her head. Shilpa looked at Samrat. "Samrat, you never introduced her to Mayank?" She asked him anxiously. Samrat suddenly bit his lip and frowned. Why did Gunjan have to bring up Mayank? Now what was he supposed to tell his ma? "Well, actually," Samrat began, but Shilpa cut in. "Samrat, I thought you were staying with Mayank, right? What's wrong? Why don't you answer me?" "Ma, actually, bro went away two years after we came to USA. He hasn't contacted me ever since. I don't know where he is, how he is, or if he is even alive." Samrat replied nervously. "What do you mean by that Samrat?" Shilpa asked in disbelief. She was almost in tears by now. "Ma, you know how bro is, right? He always does things his way, and never bothers to inform anyone about anything." Samrat answered calmly. The truth was, he was really mad at his brother for going away like that. Since eight years, he hadn't been in touch with him. Shilpa suddenly broke down. Gunjan who was watching all this silently, decided to interfere. She slowly went up to Shilpa and hugged her. "Its okay ma, I'm sure he'll be fine." She began consoling her. "Samrat, please, I want to see my Mayank. Please bring him back. I wonder where he is. Hope he is alive'.." Shilpa sobbed. Samrat looked helpless. Gunjan looked up at him expectantly, but on seeing him stand like that, helplessly, she lost her cool. "Oh come on Samrat, why can't you just try and console ma, instead of just standing there!" Gunjan then turned to look at Shilpa who was crying bitterly. "Ma, don't worry, we'll figure something out. I'll se if I could use my contacts to locate Mayank''" she kept reassuring her ma, but Shilpa just wasn't listening. Samrat could not bear to see his mom in such a condition. He slowly made up his mind and looked at his mom, with desire in his eyes. "Ma, don't worry, I'll bring back Bro." Shilpa looked up at Samrat. "How?" She managed to choke out. "Ma, trust me, I'll bring Bro back home." Samrat said. He had a strange kind of passion and determination in him. Gunjan looked at him, and seeing his determination and passion, smiled. "Trust us ma, we'll find him" Gunjan reassured Shilpa. Gunjan slowly helped Shilpa to her feet and took her to her bedroom, and put her to sleep. She then went inside her room, and saw Samrat sitting there, looking completely stressed out. She sat down beside him, and gently rested her head on his shoulder. "Don't worry; I know you'll find him." Gunjan said and closed her eyes. "I hope so too, but the question is, where is he?" Samrat sighed. This was going to be really difficult.

"Come on dude, I know you'll definitely win it this time!" Someone called out to a guy, sitting nervously, and waiting for the ball to stop rolling. He crossed his fingers and looked expectantly at the ball. Everyone around him kept chanting the number "6". The ball suddenly slowed its pace down, and finally was about to stop. Everyone held their breaths, crossing their fingers. The ball was moving between the numbers "6" and "7", and it ultimately stopped at "7." The guy banged his fist on the table hard with utter annoyance. "Aw baby, try again." Someone called out to him. He turned around to look at the person, and just made a disgusted look. "Not now Sheena!" He called back to her. Sheena looked upset and hurt by his statement. But she surely wasn't giving up. She went up to him and sat down beside him, placing her hand gently on his shoulder. She slowly slid her hand down to his chest, and began drawing circles with her finger. "Trying to seduce me?" the guy snapped, looking all the more disgusted. He caught hold of her hand, and pushed it away. Sheena looked all the more hurt. "Dude, why not try again?" RV, his best friend called out to him. "Yeah sure dude, if I had the money to spend." The guy snapped back. "This is all I have left." He added, showing everyone the bundle of money in his hand. "Dude, that's more than enough for this round. If by any way, luck favors you, you could earn thrice than what you are putting in!" RV explained to him. The guy looked thoughtful for a minute. Taking it as an opportunity, Sheena decided to interfere. "Yeah, RV is right. And besides, haven't you ever heard of Lady Luck?" she said, smiling and tracing her finger down his cheek. The guy looked up at her with pure disgust. "Sheena you," He began, but was abruptly stopped when someone cut in. "She's right. I'm sure you could do with some lady luck, since that's all that you have left with you, right?" The guy looked around in the direction of the voice. She was a girl in her mid twenties just like him, and looked really attractive. She had worn this beige colored strapless, knee-length dress. Her hair touched her shoulders delicately, and she had a smirk on her face. The girl noticed him staring at her intently, and simply smirked. "Dude, I know I'm something, but you got to keep your wild thoughts to yourself." The guy suddenly snapped out of his gaze. "Excuse me, but no one dares to talk to Mayank Sharma like that!" he snapped. The girl looked all the more amused. "Oh, arrogant, rich spoilt brat!" she said with a tone of sarcasm. "I guess you don't know me." She added. "I wouldn't like to either." Mayank spoke through gritted teeth. "You soon would." She said and grinned. "Oh really, and what makes you think that?" Mayank questioned. "Because, you would want to thank me after this." She replied. Mayank was totally confused. "Why would I want to thank you?" Mayank snapped. "Place your bet on the number 8." She said, ignoring his previous question. "What?" Mayank asked in disbelief. "Place your bet on the number 8!" she repeated. She signaled Sheena to move aside. Sheena simply scowled at her. "I'm not moving an inch." She protested. "Listen up girl; I'm not here to steal your guy. I'm just here to show him what lady luck is." The girl said, looking completely uninterested. Mayank looked at Sheena and gave her a warning look. Sheena immediately got up from there, while the girl took her place. "So you think you're lucky?" Mayank asked. "Try me" the girl replied. "Don't you think you're being a bit too overconfident? What do I get if you lose?" Mayank asked with a grin. The girl, instead of getting nervous, simply chuckled. "I will do anything you ask me to." She replied. "You better think over it. By anything, I do mean just anything." Mayank warned her. "And if you lose, which you definitely will, then you'll do whatever I ask you to." She said, and smirked at him. Mayank looked thoughtful for a minute. After a few minutes, he grinned. "Deal" he said and brought his hand forward. "Deal" the girl repeated and shook his hands with hers. "Now, place your bet on the number 8." She instructed. Mayank placed his bet on the number eight. The ball began moving and everyone looked at the ball nervously, and so did Mayank. But the girl just remained calm and continued to smirk. The ball finally slowed down, and stopped after a few seconds. Everyone gasped. The ball stopped on the number "8". Everyone looked at the girl sitting beside Mayank with their jaws dropped open, and so did Mayank. The girl, however, laughed. "Your welcome." She told Mayank. "But, how the heck'." Mayank started, but she cut him short. "Lady Luck." She shot back. "Mayank Sharma is impressed." Mayank said with a look of disbelief on his face. "Nupur Bhushan isn't surprised." The girl said indifferently. "Oh, so you are Nupur Bhushan." Mayank said. Nupur nodded slightly. "Okay, so time for your punishment. So, as per the deal, you'll do anything I ask you to," she started. She looked around the casino, and saw gay sitting there, all alone, looking really upset. She broke into a huge grin. Mayank followed her gaze and was left stunned. "You cannot be serious" he snapped. Nupur's smile widened. "I am very much serious, Mr. Mayank Sharma!" Nupur replied and smirked. Mayank didn't know what to do and stood there, looking completely shocked. He looked at Nupur, and saw her smiling to her heart's content. "You're so going to pay for this, Miss. Nupur Bhushan." Mayank snapped. "We'll see." Nupur replied and continued to smile, while Mayank was completely still.
