Part 4

The next morning Mayank and Samrat are standing on the terrace when they notice some movement. It was Nupur sword-fighting.

M- Yeh kaun hain? Kitni achi talwarbazi kar raha hain.

S- Pata nahin. Chehra nahin dikhaye deh raha.

Gunjan comes from behind.

G- Woh Raj Kumari Nupur hain.

Mayank is a little shocked at first, but then an idea pops up in his head.

N- Soch lo raj kumar ji. Agar har gaye to apki to koi izat hi nahin rahe jayegi.

M- Soch liye.

N- Aap Raj Kumari Nupur se panga le rahe hain. Par agar aapko harne ka itna hi shaunk hain to humme bhi manzoor hain.

Both of them take out their swords from their sheath. (sword cover J)

They circled each other and looked at eachother with beady eyes until their fight started.

It was a very long and wild fight. Mayank had more strength but Nupur had her own clever techniques.

Twice Nupur's swords was inches from Mayank's shoulder.

M- Raj Kumari Nupur lagta hain ke aaj to tum mujhe mar ke hi dum lo gayi.

Nupur was getting very tired of Mayank's defence tactics. Mayank could fight back but he was too scared to hurt Nupur in any way.

As they continued swishing and slashing Mayank made up his mind.

M to himself- Agar main aaj jeet gaye to iska gussa aur bhi bar jayega aur yeh mujhse baat bhi nahin kare gi. Mujhe jan bhuj kar hi harjana chahiya.

This time he purposely didn't move back in time so Nupur sent his sword flying to the ground.

Nupur aimed her sword at Mayank's shoulder. She was a little out of breath but nevertheless she had a great dazzling smile on her face.

M sighs and in his head says-Is muskan ke liye to hum hazaar bar har sakhte hain.

He smiles back.

N- Aap kyun has rahe ho Raj Kumar Mayank. Shayad main apko batana bhul gayi ke harne wale ko saaza bhi milti hain.

The smile wipes off Mayank's face- Saaza? Kaunsi saaza?

N- Jo bhi main kahoongi woh aapko karna hoga.

M- Yeh teek nahin hain. Pehle to aisa kuch nahin kaha tha ke harne wale ko saaza milti hain.

N- To kya hua. Main jab bhi cha hoon kuch bhi kar sakhti hoon.

Mayank gets angry- Kyun? Kya samajhti ho tum apne aap ko? Hum ne tumhe abhi tak kuch kaha nahin hai to tum kuch bhi karo gi. Hum bhi Raj Kumar hain, Delhi ke.

N- Acha. Bura lag gaye Delhi ke Raj Kumar ko. Yah woh darte hain saaza bhugtne se?

M- Ek baat kan khol ke sun lo humme koi nahin dara sakhte. Khas karke tum.

N- To teek hain. Umm saaza… Mujhe bohat bhook lagi hain isliye apne haaton se mere liye rotiyan paakao.

Mayank is still standing angrily with his arms folded.

N- Gunjan. Inhe rasoi ghar ka rasta dikhado. Choro main hi dikhadeti hoon.

Mayank follows Nupur helplessly to the palace kitchens. She orders all the servants to leave and hands all the materials needed to make roti to Mayank.

N- Shuru karo.

Mayank quickly flattens the dough and throws it at Nupur.

N- Mujhe roti chahiye Bharat ka naksha nahin!

N- Waah. Kya roti hain? Dekho Gunjan. Iske to doh kaan bhi hain.

Gunjan and Samrat who were watching this silently smile despite trying to control themselves.

N- Yahan se moti hain…Samajha karo na. (with an evil smile rejects another roti)

Mayank who was very frustrated by now had had enough.

M- Bas! Kitne nakhare karti ho tum! Tum hi kyun nahin banaleti!

Nupur sighs and grabs the rolling pin from Mayank. Their hands touch and for a moment they stare at eachother. Nupur looks away and with the dough makes the most perfect and roundest roti.

She smirks and holds it up for Mayank to see.

N- Chalo ek aur cheez bhi mil gayi jo mujhe aati hain aur tumhe nahin aati.

M- Acha. To teek hain main tumhe chonauti deta hoon horse-riding race ke liye. (don't know hindi for it) Aur iss baar main hi jeeton ga.

N- Jaise tum chaho. Ek aur baar harne ke liye tayar rehna!

i liked this part very much ranjana...mayank did roti as his punishment..😆n here our mayu doesn't know hoe to cook n nups knows...cool...i hope i horse-riding mayu wins n he gives her punishment....
