Next morning in college,

Mayank was already seated in the classroom, waiting impatiently for nupur to come, though he had decided to give her a hard time
he kept on looking at the time, also keeping an eye at the door

cj/dude,class haven't even started yet and you are already checking the time! what's wrong? she said from behind
m/...without looking back...nothing cj...
cj/are you sure?i would say its something related to dear nup...she was cut short
m/dekho cj aaj nahin! he warned her finally turning at her
cj/hmm..actually mayank tum dekho ...she said pointing towards the door
m/hein?...he came back to his normal position thinking the lecturer might have entered

But to his surprise it was none other than nupur, she looked so pretty, breathing heavily as she came running late .mayank kept on staring at her.

n/yeh mayank aisa kyun dekhraha hai mujhe?she murmured to herself, slowly walking towards him
m/no mayank!apni emotions par control karlo!he ordered himself and looked down to his book in a sudden move
n/..shocked to see his reaction...sadu kahin ka! she said loud enough for him to hear
cj/hi nupur!looking nice!
n/thanks!how are you?..then looking at him from the corner of her eyes ... main to bohot acho hoon by god!

Mayank understood she was indirectly talking to him

sir/Students!!

Hearing this nupur quickly seated herself next to mayank, took out a book and banged it on the table.

m/nupur..kam se kam iss book kha to kadar karlo!he taunted her
n/mayank tum to!she started fighting pointing her finger at him
cj/guys,quite,claas ke baad bhi yeh war khatam usakta hai!she tapped them on their back

Most of the day got wasted with their pointless nokjok, both unaware of why the other was showing attitude, none was ready to give up
After the last class, nupur had had enough of it, she wanted to talk to him but saw him leaving the class

n/mayank!where are you going?!
m/library..he responded
n/now?! walking after him
m/why do you have a problem with it'.keeping a mean tone
n/i am coming too..
m/listen nupur...i really have work to do'and stop following me!'.he exclaimed
n/..now she was really pissed off..mayank enough is enough!!! i cant take it anymore!! she yelled
m/..turning back...stop making a scene... and he left
n/argggg!'.now she was determined to annoy him to the core ,like she used to in old days..

All of a sudden she made her speed faster so she was ahead of mayank

m/where are you going?'confused that she did not respond to his rude behaviour
n/library!...tumse matlab!'.expressing herself in her very own style

Once in the library, both placed themselves on different desks, but such that they could get a view of the other.
None could actually concentrate on their respective work; they would stare at each other now and then behind their books. Both shared love, unfortunately both had immense ego issue.
After a while both stoop up spontaneously, getting to the same bookshelf, each at one end of it.
They kept coming closer to the centre, pretending to look for a specific book; 'at one point unknowingly they ended up touching the same book and per consequence their hands touched! It sent shivers to both of them and mayank got lost in her beautiful big eyes

n/yeh mera book hai!'she shouted in a kiddish manner
m/no its mine!'.acting equally childish
n/mayank leave it i said !'..snatching the book from his hand
n/ouch!! '.she screamed as she got a deep paper cut,dropping the book and holding her bleeding finger
m/nupur'..he said all concerned, trying to grab her finger
n/..not letting him touch her, she was so angry
m/bass!bohot hoagaya!'.he blasted, forcibly took her finger to his mouth to suck the blood away

Nupur eyes got moist realising his concern, she was tired of fighting with the man she loved so much

m/l..look...he was about to say something but didn't get a chance to place his words as nupur ran out of the library, all teary
m/oh god!yeh mujhe kya hojatha hai!im such an ass!'he affronted himself, running after her

Nupur was sitting of a bench, crying, mayank saw her, took a deep breath, sat next to her, took her hands in his and said

m/nupur..
n/choro mujhe!'.she said standing up

Mayank was not in mood to leave her, this had to stop, he furiously pull her back which made her fall/sit on his lap

m/why are we fighting like this damn it!'.he shouted ,holding her firmly
n/main nahin!tum! 'her tone being high, crying, trying to move away
m/jo bhi ho!if there is a problem we should talk it through'.he soften his voice, wiping her tears with one hand
n/mayank tumhe gussa ke alawa kuch aata ai kya? 'in a trembling voice
m/haan!i was mad at you.. ..he admitted'.still wiping her tears
n/no!i was!why didnt you call me yesterday?you don't know how it hurt me!
m/what?i called you,uday said you will call back! i waited for your call till 3 in the morning!
n/..realising there have been a big confusion...lekin mujhe tho kissi ne nahin kaha...she pleaded ,all her anger was gone..
m/uday ki to mein!'.he stopped thinking it wasn't the right time to insult him

Both were feeling extremely guilty of their acts, of their ego..
Nupur was looking down, she felt so sorry and stupid

m/look at me nupur...he said softly, breaking his lap so she could sit comfortably on his leg
n/hmmm...looking at him
m/im sorry!jitne bhi sorry!dil se sorry!'making a puppy face yet pure sincerity was there in his eyes
n/no im sorry!

Mayank cupped her face with his hands, stared at her, slowly moving closer
Nupur felt all nervous, she sensed hundred of butterflies in her stomach and blushed like anything
Coming closer, mayank kissed her remaining tears away, from one cheek then the other, keeping his motion slow so he could feel her warmth
His action brought a broad smile to her lips and in return she gave him a cute and long kiss on the cheek

m/..with his trademark winning smile...yeh kissliye tha?
n/yunhi!'and she rested her head on him....i missed you so much mayank...
m/i love you!trust me i didnt mean to be so rude...im sorry...he said caressing her palm with his fingers

At last they were at peace, once again enjoying the presence of their love so close to them.
They were so lost in each other that they didn't notice Samrat just came and stood shocked seeing them like this
s/erm..erm'.he coughed on purpose to bring them back to reality

Nupur jumped up and felt so embarrassed, even mayank felt the same but he was indeed annoyed that someone had to spoil there sweet moment. Mayank stood up as well.

m/ sa..samrat'.who'

n/mein abhi ahi'! 'and she ran inside the library, all red, looking down..

s/'all smiling'.not fair dude!'.he said to tease mayank

m/what? 'all confused, thinking of how nupur would be feeling..

s/tum dono ka story begin hua aur mujhe bataya bhi nahin'.pretending to cry'

m/actually woh'

s/oh common on dude!'he came forward to hug mayank'im very happy for you!'

m/thanks man!..

s/tum to bohot hi smart nekhle!never thought you would be so fast'I mean what was that hein?'he winked

m/its not the matter of being fast! Its all about romance!'smirking at him'

s/ dude ab to mujhe tumse advice lena parega! 'tapping him on the shoulder

Mayank smiled

Mayank and nupur were a couple for the past few days, their lives were going perfectly good,their days had somehow had a same routine everyday,'in college they would go and spend time in the canteen or corridors with nupur talking talking and doing nautanki,during evening they would go to the library and seriously study it was still very important for mayank,and later they walk home together with both of them in full romancing mode'.
