Mayank hadn't come to the club alone. He was there with a couple of friends who had been there when he was dating nupur too so they knew her quite a bit. When mayank said those last words to nupur- shweta, a new colleague of mayank who is currently crushing on him, saw them together. Although she didn't see them kissing but just the sight of him talking to the other girl who was nupur was heart wrenching. Shweta always felt that she owned mayank. But mayank would never give her any attention. Out of curiosity she asked anjali, one of their friends that they were with about the girl who mayank was talking to.

Nupur ordered one drink after another. She kept gulping it down. She couldn't believe she just kissed mayank. Just when she was trying to get over him and forget him he comes back!! And the worst thing is that he kisses her! ' ughhh!!! I hate life!' said nupur and looked beside her as she felt someone's gaze on her. It was mayank. ' you must be really sad or happy about something. Drinking like crazy huh?' he said taking my glass away. ' you've had enough nupur. Stop now' he said moving my hair away from my face. I was too drunk to listen to his crap. ' give me my glass back!' I said like a drunk maniac. ' nupur please don't create a scene here' he said with still a calm face. I pouted because he wouldn't give me my drink back. ' mayank!! Stop being a jerk and give me my drink back!!!' mayank shook his head and dragged me out of that club. ' where are you taking me?!' I asked getting his hands off of my arms. ' nupur, your drunk! I'll take you home ok?' he said taking my face into his hands. I was too tired and drunk to say anything. Next thing I knew I was in the air. He had taken me into his arms and carried me to his car. He placed my on the passenger seat and put the seat belt on me. I was muttering a hundred things all the while. While he said nothing and quietly sat on the driver's seat. 'so what is your address'?? he asked me taking the car out of the parking lot. I was laughing like crazy and blabbing out a hundred things. 'I am not telling you where I live' I said with a drunk accent. ' fine.' He said ignoring all my blah blahs all the way. He suddenly pulled into the driveway of some apartment that looked extremely familiar. ' where are we' I moaned and groaned with irritation. ' at my house' he said carrying me out of the car and into the house. He took me inside a bedroom and placed me on the bed. Then he handed me an extra large t-shirt of his and some boxers. 'here, you can change in the bathroom' he said pushing me inside.

I loved to wear his huge t-shirts. They smelt like him and I just loved it. But before I could even change or lock the bathroom door I puked. Fortunately, I did that in the sink. I felt his hand pat my bar back. I then locked the bathroom and washed my face and quickly changed into his shirt. I never used to wear his boxers so I completely ignored them right now too. I walked out of the bathroom in his huge shirt with my thighs and long legs shining. As I walked out he made me sit on the bed and handed me some sort of aspirin and some water. ' you should get some sleep now. You'll feel good in the morning. Don't worry.' He said tucking me in. I wildly threw the blankets off of me and started to yell at him for no reason. He simply responded with a ' its ok jaan. it'll be all ok.' And then he made me lie down again. ' good night' he said getting up. ' kiss me!' I said pulling him back on the bed. He kissed my forehead and started to get up again. I pulled him again and captured his mouth on mine. He didn't respond at all! At all. He didn't stop me either. I tried to make him give in and jus kiss me! But he just wouldn't. 'fine!' I said after 5 freaking minutes of making him try to kiss me to respond to the kiss I tried to give him. Next thing I knew I was snuggling next to him. And I just wouldn't let him go. ' ok! I'll stay here. But promise me that you wont be yelling at me in the morning !ok??' he said . ' ok I wont be mad at you!I promise!!' I said snuggling closer. This night was very special. It was the start of a new year. Which meant many new surprises. Many new gifts. It was special for me too. I was snuggled in bed with my love. Well… ex- love. But anyways…like I care.

Little did the drunk nupur know what all gifts and surprises this year had in store for her.
